weather turned out hot and we wished we'd gone to the beach sometime in between. but we didn't. just had lunch and walked around.

we were supposed to have coffee. but we couldn't digest it. so we had water instead. lol.

spent most of my money on food. -_-

went to sticky. got these packets of rock candies for hk.

walking around shopping centres is tiring.

so today we decided to go and crash chu's place. hahahaha that was totally random and but at least it didn't turn out awkward.

had pizza and watched a movie.

oh and work was mad today. all the casuals were working mega 8-5:30 shift. whoot. and i was asked if i wanted to work tomorrow.

and it took us so long to get the fire started. so the boys just dumped like half a packet of the white fuel thingys - easy lites - and the whole thing practically burst into flames. LOL. got the whole apartment block smokey.

so i think next time, i want the bbq to be at my place. =D altho that might not happen until my birthday. but thats okay. cause there are so many birthdays, 21st especially, until then. :)

i think all of us were a mob of walking zombies today. half the things people said to me didn't really register in my head until like 2 minutes later. lols.

our store technically closed at 5:30 but most of us were rostered on till 6. - something that we learnt from previous years. no matter how many times u tell customers that the store is closed, announcements and PAs - somepoeple just refuse to leave. its shocking. i think we got the last of our customers out by 10 to 6. like... egging go home u losers.

i had a good day until work.

went to the gym. and then went to get some ingredients with my friend. truffles!!! then went to her place and helped her with the stuff cause she couldnt manage by herself. lol. and skim read the 4th book of the severwaters trilogy that i had no idea existed until i went over. jan has all these books that i want to read!! but im now too old for... i was like.. omg.. its like u have a library of books made for me.

went to cafe at bevo for lunch. had nachos that really really made me full for the rest of the afternoon.

the dark chocolate ginger truffles turned out really well. the white ones hadn't set properly yet so we couldnt roll them.

then went to my place cause my sister was working too. so we all rocked up to work together. and i was told how "cute" my sister and i were. HAHAHAHAHA cause apparently some people still didn't know we were siblings. LOL

and then my sis' manager calls her and jan up. and gives my sister a lecture about the weekend. and it was like

worked 8-1. almost died.

my turkey and ham were awesome. homemade turkey stuffing was realllllllllllly good. =D and ham was yummy cause it was nut-encrusted. and ham and honey just go so well together.

and i had to make the spring rolls. and all this other general shit.

we had dinner at around 7:30... and we drank. like took out the vodka and the whiskey and the gin. and we were mixing our own drinks.

and today... today was like THE randomest (but really fun and impromptu) day.

worked 8-1. im pretty sure i was half asleep until about 10.

got the usual stuff done. then we had to go and hunt for our stock. and when i say hunt, i mean, it was a challenge.

our nursery pallet of nappies were downstairs. (problem 1) there were no cages (problem 2). there was all this stuff in front of our pallet (problem 3) we had to climb over (no joke) a mountain of rubbish that stunk to get to the nappies (problem 4). so me and my manager were carry the boxes to the lift. it took us egging ages to get all the boxes into the lift. then we had to get a trolley and jack to get the boxes out. and it just so happens that customers really like to block our pathway when we need to get stuff out.

haha it was fun. and when i was on my break at reception, talking to my manager. and she needed to call my sister into work. and shes like

'i dont want to wake her up again. i feel bad.'

and im like

'well, ur gonna wake her up either way - just do it.'

hahahaha. and she put the phone on speaker. and my sisters like half dead

LOL. and then 6 of us went yum cha. that was fun. hahahaha they were eating intestines and chicken feet. and then we randomly walked to the oval to watch one of the boys play cricket. and we sat on the grass until the end of the game. they won.

so this is like my nth Aspire day. and i felt like a total oldie there. because there are these new ambassadors who are literally first yrs. and they didnt even know where half the places on campus were.

and i had THE BEST kids today. our faculty session in the morning was business - of course. for my group anyway. and they had this marketing quiz thing where you had to recognise major brand names, think of brands and their slogans, recognise endorsements, etc. so much fun. and my 6 kids were so talented... that they WON!!! [two massive blocks of chocolate and bunches and bunches of candy] =D so proud of them. plus one of my girls fully pwned these other two boys in a drink skulling competition. that was massive ROFL.

then had two kids that i got to talk to about uni life. at least they had aspirations. one was a writer and one was a zoologist. so they didn't need much help in figuring out what they wanted to do. it was more like.. what they could do, what subjects they would choose. =)

well, until 9. cause there was no way i was staying back tonight.

and it was so unfair. because all other departments had like at least 5 or 6 people. and i was all by myself in kids. ladieswear had 6 and toys and christmas had a gazillion people working. hahaha. oh well. i was okay.. actually probably better on my own.

fully fixed boys so it looks mad now. i keep thinking that i will find a dead rat underneath one of the modules when i clear it. but all there is for the time being is rat poo. i will literally scream if theres a rat.

tried to make my timetable. its okay i guess. its just the geneds that are making me sad. =( because the ones i want to do have been cancelled for the semester. or they clash with my acct. and i dont want to change my beautiful acct timetable. no more night classes! and no 9 am starts!

my day was pretty ordinary. actually.. no. i watched a lot of tv and a couple of movies today.

wildchild was surprisingly an ok movie. for chicks. i think i'm just into the whole im a kid and im misunderstood so i will be rebellious kind of thing.

the bank job was ok... reminded me a bit of prison break (tunnel digging) and the italian job (blowing up walls). the story was based on a true story and it was actually quite distressing.

then went downstairs and watched the news. and after, don't forget the lyrics was on and it was a celebrity episode. and they had boyz 2 men on. and they were AWESOME! and the ads were good too because I FINALLY SAW ONE OF THE TWILIGHT TRAILERS ON TV!!!

i got up really early because i couldn't sleep. so i went to the gym around 8. it was surprisingly pretty quiet. definetely not like the 9 oclock rush.

i came home and turns out mum was still home. cause her back was hurting. so she stayed home today.

and we went to the markets in the arvo. got some fruit and veg.

and i was baking today. i made melting moments for the cake stall tomorrow at work. and the pieces to my gingerbread house that i have yet to decorate. i made gingerbread people with the leftover dough. yay. oh and i made my sister's tiramisu cups for her party tomorrow.

so yes, i have finally started my christmas baking!!!

i came back from the gym today, was attempting to get up the stairs. and i either miscalculated or just didn't see where i was going. so i stacked it up the stairs. and at the exact same time, my sister was coming down. so she saw me fall. and she fell on the step laughing her ass off.

and then just then, mum was in my sister's room, talking about her tutoring fees. and i was leaning of the doorframe with the door half closed. and she walks out and literally jumps 3 feet in the air.

i think, today marked the beginning of the christmas rush. quite literally.

it was non-stop action all night until 9 pm and after. there were people everywhere, kids screaming, toys all over the floor, strollers on the footpaths, register calls non-stop, empty drink cups on our shelves and it was so noisy that we couldnt hear the PA half the time.

and i am so sick of cleaning something, turning around to do something else and coming back to clean the exact same thing 5 minutes later because people have no respect for our clothes. they dump their shit everywhere and for christ's sake, freaking go to the fitting rooms to try on clothes.

warehousing in 30+ heat is not pleasant.

in fact, its downright torturous.

and im dead beat tired.

i went to westfield. and basically only went to coles to get some stuff for my baking. and i was expecting it to be a quick, won't-bump-into-anyone trip.

oh and there was this teen. at first, we thought he was like pretty smart cause he came in topless and we thought he was gonna nick a shirt and try to walk out. so we already had people and security watching him. turns out he was absolutely bumfuck dumb. instead of going for the shirt - he went for a pair of shoes - whilst still topless. so i called steve. and he's at the door watching the kid. steve smiles innocently at the kid. and the kid does literally a 180, turns around, goes back to shoes were steph and i were waiting for him and goes rather rudely

anyway, so we had the godbrother and other similar guests over for a dinner. it was sort of like a farewell/early-christmas/see-you-next-year sort of dinner. where it was mainly boys no older than 12 (4 of them) and adults...

the godbrother was in a tantrummy and then all happy happy joy joy mood. his brother is a pain in the backside. literally and metaphorically. the brat kept punching and slapping me. and im like stop, its inappropriate and rude and he thinks its some bigass joke. i swear i wanted to kick his ass - kid or no kid.

an interesting japanese restaurant experience. traditional in that you take your shoes off and we sit on cushions. the tables are built into the ground. but the atmosphere and the food makes it rather western.

food was so-so. not as good as wagaya and the place we went to for hector's 21st. and price was average. i think half our tab went to drinks anyway. LOL.

we were just drinking japanese vodka mixes and sake. =D and the sake came in a minature version of the water bottles. and we were egging janice on to have a second shot of "sake" (which was really water) and she was like.

and we smashed the stock. so much so that we didn't have any cages left to fill with.

and it just so happens that joe and marwah wanted to visit us. chu text me and gave us the heads up. hahaha too bad we were on lunch when they got there. but apparently they were really pleased with our work . =D

and in this short amount of time that we were in the centre.. like about 40 minutes, we bumped into my aunty and these family frends. so it was obligatory to say hi. the centre was really really busy today and i am so so so so SO glad that i was not working. 10 am and the place was buzzing. i dont even want to think about what im gonna face tomorrow morning.

we went to the fish market restaurant for yum cha. that was an epic fail as well. we literally had 6 dishes and didn't even want to eat anymore. my sister and i were like.. let's just go downstairs for some fish and chips. but we didn't end up getting any cause the yum cha food was stuck. lols. disappointing i suppose.

our new gps is so much fun. such a handy lil navman. smart little cookie. we went to birkenhead after lunch. but that was another fail. the place was renovating so basically all the good shops had closed down. and there were building structures everywhere. and it just wasn't a good shopping experience. didn't buy anything here either. i guess me and outlets no longer mix. *sigh*

the drive back across anzac brdige, there was this massive billboard of the twilight movie!!! =D =D got dropped off a couple of blocks from kinokuniya. arrived just in time to see val walk across the borders floor and just ahead of dumb and dumber who were (as per usual) calling out stuff like 'who's that hot/ugly girl in the blue jeans in front?'.. and had the girl who was right in front of them turn around or something. LOL.

two customers had a fight in nursery over a really cheap discontinued stroller. like.. wtf? so i steered clear of the area for a bit. LOL.

helens birthday. and shes all sad (haha jokingly) that she's a whooping over-the-hill 39. hahahahaha but she still acts like a teenager. especially when she checks out boys. =D

after sitting at home all day. and deciding that the pain actually got worse. i got my butt off the seat and went to the doctor. who said that i probably stretched some muscles, ligaments, something. gave me a whole heap of advil and suggested i do some ultrasound thing.

so now i have to go back for at least another two sessions so they can put gel on my back and magically make it better? im not sure how it works.

apart from that, evidently, i was stuck at home.

i said to mum last night how i had such a good immune system and what not (half jokingly) that i hadnt been to the doctors in yrs apart from vaccinations. anyway, last night, my right shoulder blade was really hurting. like.. it hurt to breathe. but mum was like.. u probably just pulled a muscle.

this morning. i woke up and almost fainted. like literally, the 10 odd steps to the bathroom was like a marathon and then some.

i think it was a combination of it being cold, my back and massive migraine. so i had to call in sick. and i spent most of the day dozing in and out of sleep. i was so incoherent.. like dizzy and then nauseous and then sweating and the exhausted...

im feeling slightly better now. thank goodness its a short term thing.

worked. had lunch with the family - extended family. namely, justin and grandma. we went to the shanghai place on forest road. it was very oily. food was so-so. and since justin was shouting, the price was way too low =P

then we dropped grandma back home. and at the same time, visited lil brian li - the newest member of the family - im an aunt?

he's adorably small. and he likes me =D at least he didnt cry when i picked him up. and he pooped while i was there (why do all babies/toddlers poop when i'm around? either that or they vomit on me... -_-")

this morning.. worked. joe gave me this whole list of things to do. and i was like... well fk that. jk. i actually listened and did everything. it was mostly fixing up nursery. and since it was either that or kidwear. well, nursery. because some lazy ppl (i.e. sat arvo girls) don't bother to clean nursery eventhough its a part of the department. and secondly, i don't like having trolleys of returns because theyre too lazy to hang the clothes that fall on the ground and just dump it in the fitting rooms. its unfair for people in the morning who have to clean up after them. =(

and he called my manager and MT and was like

yep definietely. so that interrupted our stroller session. which leads me to talk about this second headache of a customer. apparently, he's been in our store a couple of times. in nursery. wanted to buy a stroller and carseat. and no one was there to "assist" him. so he rang up the store. spoke to my manager for 40 minutes. had a good complain. wasn't happy. so he spoke to the store manager. and SM told my manager that we had to be prepared for this customer who was gonna come in on the weekend. he was doing to buy the package: stroller, carseat and bassinet. with the discount EVENTHOUGH the sale would have finished by saturday. and we were to know how to show the guy how to set up all the parts.

so we spent literally over an hour standing in nursery trying to put it altogether. felt like amateurs but now we can be full pros and be like yeah. this is solid. easy shit.

anyhow, he better be grateful. because we're getting his items transferred from a different store. he's essentially getting a raincheck with this whole he gets it after the sale for the sale price stuff. plus we're gonna be showing him how it works cause for whatever reason, he can't read the manual by himself. fun.

food was okay. thai. hm.. havent had it in a long time so i didnt mind. and we had 3 bottles of white. and that was the only drinks that i had. in all aspects, i was being controlled and sensible.

obviously went upstairs for the game tables after. boys went gambling. we sort of just roamed a bit. basically just mucking around. -_- yes so childish. and steph was wishing a couple of brides who walked past us 'congrats'. totally random.

and quite a few of us wanted to leave relatively early. so here i am. the place was packed and some of them wanted to move onto something more exciting.. so some of us decided to leave. caught the train. whoot. cheap ride. but damn.. my feet feel like jelly. never wearing heels and walking to and from starct again. so i say now.

it really was labour (ie, work) day.

my public holiday monday consisted of:
1. going to sleep at around 3 am.
2. waking up groggy at around 7-8 am to no sunshine and grey skies.
3. going back to my computer to continue editing acct.
4. edit until i was almost late for work.
5. get to work.
6. at work: walk around like a zombie (thank goodness it was quiet.. dunno wat i wouldve done had it been anything else).
7. get home and edit some more.
8. godbrother came over for dinner.
9. wash my hands free of acct pending originality report.
10. needing sleep.

and that's our break gone. =( it didnt even feel like a break. i felt like i did more work than a normal uni week. albeit different kind of work. *sigh* i forget that this stupid 12 week semester thing means exams are actually really close by.

i think, in hindsight, i shouldve taken that offer to work all day. i did it for accounting. there's another mark on this [censored] assignment. when i think rationally, i should be damn glad i wasn't working. we made the most money on a saturday for a long while. which inevitably means we would have been flat out.

and in that time, i managed to get a BSC and strategy map done. albeit needs editing and refining.

progress is progress.

get a call from target and i was considering not answering it cause i knew it couldnt be good. the funniest thing happened cause the receptionist is like.. blond. ROFL.

my manager isnt at work today so i knew it couldnt be here. and so thats why i thought it couldn't be good. so turns out maree wanted to talk to my sister. LOL. and the receptionist couldnt tell the difference between our names our maybe it just that they call me so often that she thought we were the same person? anyhow, yeah hilarious. i was like to maree. this isnt wendie. and shes like what? i wanted to talk to wendie. pfft, she's stupid (referring to the receptionist). ROFL.

and zomfg. accounting is gonna be the death of me.

looks like i wil be doing it alone today. donna, i swear u better b online later before i crack. i know u have work atm so ur excused for the time being. ive given up on the other people. i will hassle hector later maybe. hm.

so we were very neatly not on time, but not exactly late either. like, the timing was just all right. even though i left a little bit late and getting petrol took half an hour. and the drive to dfo was a little bit slow. we got there about 5-10 minutes after donna and met her at the entrance just as she'd walked once around the outlet already.

the strangest things happened today:

1. valerie (who said that she was there to "carry the bags") went on a spending spree. puma, jag, esprit. I ended up carrying the bags because i didnt buy anything. well donna too. actually, donna more cause she was hogging them eventhough she had a couple of bags of her own. hahaha.

2. we went downstairs to the basement level to check out (really randomly) the books.

Valerie, after talking about how her brother (who is shit at everything except english) will probably get a higher mark than her for english and how he wants to do aviation and that requires an interview:

3. perfect timing getting to our cars. i let donna get out first. =D

and so im following her through the car park. and its multi levelled. and LOL. me and val are obviously watching her and she goes right over the kerb on a turn. and we're just cracking up. it was so funny. i know why she says she feels pressure. im not even in HER car. hahaha

i needed to follow donna to get to burwood. big mistake.
she cut all the way right... and then really quickly cut back all the way left. i saw her coming. but the car behind me almost didnt. and i got beeped. that was the first thing. and the second thing was shes a shit leader!! she went "ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOmmmmm" and disappeared on me zigzaggin through all these trucks! luckily i know my direction from there onwards. -_-

4. grocery shopping. val and i went to woolies to buy lunch and dinner. on a whim, valerie decides to walk into adjacent liquorland and buy a AVL wine. tempus two. 2006 cabernet merlot. it was very smooth. very good. if you dont do accounting, you wont understand. lol. we had salad for lunch and pasta bake for dinner. yummy. obviously, i cooked. the wine was superduper complementary with my brownies.

5. we watched pride and prejudice the new version. and laughed through most of it. and we played mahjong. talked about a lot of things. varying topics. watched minority report. if mark wahlberg replaced tom cruise, it wouldve made a very very good movie.

6. i had to pick up my sister sometime between dinner and minority report at stratty. that wasnt very hard. lol.

7. my sister fits in with us quite well. cause valerie is able to learn so much about her brother from her. and lol, valerie tells my sister all this stuff that she doesnt want her students to know. HAHAHA.

the two short ones went to buy maccas and hectors gone to the bathroom.

how productive are we today? better than not doing anything at home or communicating online or something like tht.

bumped into lots people today. pooch and carl from econ and all these other recognisable faces from legal. hmm i wonder why. thanks assignment due in the midsession break. there are actually quite a few people at uni today.

i feel so technologically in at the moment cause im working on my bed with my laptop and have donna on loudspeaker on the side. hahahahaha fun fun

A 25-YEAR-OLD man has died after being repeatedly stabbed during an argument with another man in a busy retail store in the centre of Hobart.

Police have launched a hunt for the second man seen to flee the Target store in Elizabeth Mall about 2pm (AEST).

Shoppers witnessed the stabbing and are being questioned by police, while forensic officers examine the scene.

Inspector Peter Powell of Hobart CIB said the victim, from the northern Hobart suburb of Gagebrook, was stabbed several times.

"There were eye witnesses to the incident and detectives from Hobart CIB are currently following a specific line of inquiry in relation to the matter," he said said.

A group of people, believed to be the victim's family, were outside the store.

it was cleaning cleaning cleaning up after the tornado that stormed through the store from yesterday. and it was bad. i tried to keep the place as clean as possible but its kind of hard when you have 4 calls at the same time. LOL.. we were at layby. i was taking my calls. and im like.. who r the other 3 lines for? and theyre like

"YOU! one of them have already hung up."

haha oops. im sorry im popular =P

but i got to looky forward to getting home and messing up the kitchen. i made brownies and tons of cookies. choc chip and peanut and a healthier version with apricots and coconut and oats. took me a good 4 hours.. but i thinking its actually taking less time that had i done it say.. with "less" experience. everything just seemed to flow today. except for the fact that my mum bought raw peanuts with their skin on and i had to roast them first and then try and get all the skin off before i could use them. hahaha that was time consuming and kind of messy. but everything else was okay. there are different satisfactions from baking cookies and making cakes. i think anyway.

the godbrother and family came over for dinner. its like a regular thing these days. but hes been no fun lately. hes always sooking and crying and what not. so didnt pay him much attention. haha too bad.

had a talk to carl about our tax assignment. and then val calls about badminton. and then i actually get a reply from a certain member of acct group (he says he'll be there tues.. we will see i guess). and then i get another msg from this girl from work. todays the day.

i learnt a new word: fubar.

its technically not a word. but hey, i like it. =D

and i dont know whether i should be pissed off or relieved. my mascara and bronzer magically reappeared in my makeup box. i wonder why. so i confronted my sister. she claims that mum "found it" under MY bed. im like... yeah, nice try. I JUST FREAKIN BOUGHT A NEW BRONZER LESS THAN A FORTNIGHT AGO!

work was so hectic i literally could not put stock out, relay. it was just registers, taking calls, emptying the tub and trying not to run into people, walk over kids. and i had a headache. i mean, people were lining up to try on clothes. i wouldnt even bother.

legal assignments and word limits are always a pain in the ass. im always over. =(. time to cut down. and restructure my "long" sentences.

my day got worse and worse.

at first it was just ur normal hayfever/sinus issues typically associated with a spring day.

when i got to work it was like...POOF!! the dust bunnies were out to get me and i was in so much allergenic pain. not pain pain but pain. like i was running for tissues at tcf every 5 minutes and either my nose was running or it was blocked. its now blocked, my nose is red red and its making me extremely drowsy.

hence, i am on my eee pc in bed. thank you laptop and wireless internet. i can do almost anything.. yayness. i doubt i will do much apart from sleeping though. i had the senses of taste and smell until i got home too. then when i had dinner, i could only taste bits of it. thats not a good sign. i hope it doesnt develop into like a cold or something. grr.

at least monique and her adorable lil bubby (7 weeks old) came to visit today. haha shes so funny with him. treats him like a doll. lol

spent three grand today. woot. i really really need to do this tax assignment tomrrow.

all i wanted to do today was to spend it at home. soak up the sun. sleep in the sun. snatch up some shares. start my legal assignment. i got as far as reading the question.

work called. they were desperate.

and despite my lethargy and unwillingness to work, i said yes because i didnt know how to say no. (thats not completely true).

and to top it off i was in menswear/footwear. a curse and a relief. it was easy. it was clean. it was god damn boring. so bored, that my manager gave me a trolley of stock to do for kidswear to take me out of the department for awhile before i went crazy. it helped. a little.

so did the rat - dead - covered in maggots in soundbar. poor chuey. ROFL. could smell it from over the counter. they found it.. disgusting. had to use one of them biohazard kits. gloves, mask, special tongs. felt sick just hearing about it. at least joe (new sm) and i got to laugh a bit at chueys expense.

and i am so tired now that i feel dead on my feet. i think im going to go to sleep before 10.

i didnt have much to do at work today.. literally. so i had a bit of a reshuffle around the department. played around with the clothes. relay. spent a lot of the day talking. hahahaha we had our own little group on the floor - mao, clads, elena and me (which was like.. 75% of the people working on the floor) we were hidden between toys and homewares and yeah.. haha kept paying out martin about him and sam's 6 months anniversary. and elena kept going 'whipped' and mimicing whipping someone. so martin grabs a spatula to hit her and elena grabs a knife (it just so happens we were in kitchenware). ROFL. soo funny. =D

came home and spent the day outdoors as i intended. washed both cars and cleaned out the garage and even let scout come out (on a leash of course).

was talking to my lil coz in hk. and my mum was talking to my uncle on the phone at the same time. and completely owned him in minesweeper flags. so we played pool instead. havent played pool in so long. then he went offline to watch the ending of moonlight resonance. and im like. HAHAHAHA i watched the ending like an hour ago. u r so behind la. hahahahaha go the internet.

the morning was a bit of a frenzy. we actually had a group of people waiting for us to open... and it was busy from the word go. i was on the registers for more than like 5 minutes. hahahaha. thats saying something cause normally an extra operator can cut the queues down in no time.. but nope, not today.

managed to get my three nursery cages done which was a relief.

what i really wanted was to be at the beach. i had to settle for my overgrown and unattended garden.. with scout. it felt so nice just sitting on the porch in a sundress this arvo.

had a bit of a vent and rant at donna. thanks for being my ears. its appreciated. no matter how unjust i probably sounded.
