i love being treated as the only child.
went yum cha with mum and dad. and then we spent the day shopping. and my parents paid for everything today (albeit most of it wasnt for me).
mum paid for lunch, she paid for my tank of petrol.
we went to roselands where we bought a $240 wok and a slightly less expensive fry pan at $199. obviously not at those prices but still hefty.
mum bought me a dress =D but hey, it was 10 bucks so it wasnt a big deal.
we checked out the plasmas and lcds. we've decided 42" is way too small. looking at 50" if it fits our tv stand thingthing.

this arvo, was playing mahjong with the aunts and omg.. i lost big time and then i won it all back and then some.. all the spectators were like. omg.. yeah, shes gonna jii-mor and i kept doing it. HAHAHAHAHA YEAH!! =D won $42 there.
then dinner as usual
and after dinner was poker. haha $2 buy in and we were all joking that facebook "prepared" us for this. lol lol.
stakes got pretty high. half bluffed my way through.. played for like 5 hours.. and had to strike a deal with justin (we were the only two left) to split the jackpot cause its getting late and i need to work tomorrow at 8 and they had to go home.
and amy and andrew traded the monaro for a gti gulf. now tat is style. =)

yum cha at rockdale rsl was worse than sunnys in hurtville.
but it was lunch with grandma =)

for the last saturday before christmas, the store was constant but not what you would have expected. we made good sales but there was something lacking in the last dash for crap before we closed for the holidays. constant, busy. messy but still lacking.
although, highlight of the day, martin found a whole box of sour peach hearts. YAYNESS!!! tho imo, theyre no longer as good as they once were. not that sour anymore but still good. haha we were all excited over it. lol
we had this huge group discussion (managers included) in the middle of the store about the two pregnant mannequins today. LOL LOL LOL so random and so funny. ran along the lines of, 'that cushion stuffed in it is definetely too low, too obvious' APO: 'yeah, only really fat women get pregnant like that' HAHAHAHAHA WTF!?!? ROFL

so so so so boring!
and haha, i was invited to drinks at the meridian with the boys. like.. no thanks. lols
places like work are where u see hsc results fluctuating from * to the 90s. and where a lot of not so nice comments come out to play. so glad im not one of them. and a little envious of those who werent ever stressed bout it.
it has again gotten to the point where u put out any crappy stock and make it look pretty that people will frantically buy.

went shopping with my sister today. basically just country road where she bought her much wanted everyone-has-one black bag and where i decided not to get my no-one-has-it clear plastic one (yes.. even when it came down to $20, i decided not to get it). esprit was supposedly on sale too but the stuff wasn't that cheap despite their "up to 50%" off advertising. the 30% all merchandise sale the week before was much better.
we walked all the way down to central for lunch but it was worth it. the place that everyone says, 'we'll go there one day' cause of the massive lines outside - i'm talking about the little jap place on the corner opposite market ct - well, it was really good. and the price was good too.
went home and monkey went to watch her boys play bball while i went to the gym. and lol, her friends are going down next time i see them. how dare they diss my dragons. anyway their bball outing gave me a sense of deja vu with our soccer thing all those years back.
then tonight, went shopping with mum. yeah, we braved the traffic and the crowds to battle it into the centre. didnt even see mandy until she was caling out to me.. lol. im so lost. at least we managed to get everything we needed. and i managed to get some new gym gear. omg.. i never thought it would come to the day where mums like.. i'll pay for it. and im like 'no, its ok' and shes like 'if u dont let me pay for it, ur offending me.' and im like fully arguing with her that its my stuff so i should be paying for it. LOL

my day just got better and better despite all the setbacks.
work was work with christmas trading. thank goodness i didnt have to stay back eventhough DM was visiting.. i was kinda disappointed at first (time and half and all) but turned out to be a very good decision.
ppl started arriving at around 4ish.. which was also the same time it decided to start to rain.. but still, heaps of fun we had.
we played wii olympics.. LOL omg.. tat was so FUNNY.
and godbrother was here too.. and all my relos are like.. aw.. and HAHAHAHAHA funny (and not so funny) things that happened:
- justin was pinched and he has a scab now from ari
- ari fell for all of justins pranks
- ari vomited after all my uncles (i mean, my two uncles with married kids who are desperate for grandkids *hint hint*) fed him cake (ROFL ROFL)
- coz in law andrew asked if ari was "hire-able" (ROFL ROFL ROFL, the reply was "yeah, ill give u a discount, $100 per hr" andrew: "wait a minute... shouldnt YOU be paying ME?" *everyone ROFLs* HAHAHA)
- ari fell down the stairs (it was just 2 steps and was all happy 2 mins later)
- we had heaps and heaps of cake!!!
- everybody who came brought a botle of red wine (mum was like wtf? and dad was like yep, its a entry requirement)
- bottle of vintage 1992 grange was opened (the cost of the bottle of wine was in excess of $600. no joke.. and it was NICE)
- for some reason, we kept getting international phone calls from relos (these were independent events)
- we all ate too much and theres too much left over even though everyone doggy bagged
- fireworks at the oval was cancelled (boo...)
- andy was sending me stuff and my phone died on me AGAIN (I WAS AND STILL AM V PISSED OFF)
- justin made a comment 'wats wrong with all the phones u own?' (grr..)
i have to say, eventhough it wasnt a complete, every person present, kind of gathering, it was one of the most happy and satisfying ones i've had in a long long time. makes u all warm and fuzzy inside (awwww...) even took a few random pics. mostly of my cakes. my gingerbread house is still alive eventhough more than one person wanted to chop it up!! =D can't wait for the new year one =) i love my family
im all peachy yet pissed off atm.

esprit sale was great. picked up some denim clothing (i finally found a pair of esprit jeans that actually felt okay)

and this extended trading business is so so boring. like.. i was folding and refolding clothes cause i was bored.. walked around the store about a million times and well, was generally bored. there were like.. 10 customers total in the extra 3 and half hours. what a waste. didnt even have stock to put out.

because im such a nice sister, i got up at the crack of dawn to drive my sister and her friend to padstow so that they could be driven to windsor for their duke of ed camp. and for goodness sakes, it was still dark out. my mum cant give directions and shes just a crappy front seat passenger. i turn onto the RIGHT road and shes like 'what are you doing? this is the toll road. get off it' and so i pull onto a side street. read the map and i was right!!! so we had to go in a circle. tsk tsk tsk cannot doubt whereis directions.
came home and it was only like 7 so i decided to make scones for breakfast. they turned out really really good =D and hahahaha my mum went back to sleep wen we got home. did not expect that at all.. and i was all peachy and awake although i did end up taking an arvo nap.. im such a good napper these days.
and then i decided that since the ovens still warm, i'd try my luck at making my gingerbread house and yayness to me!

there was this punk of a chick who came to the fitting rooms and requested to try on bras. she said she had 4 and we counted 5.. that was kind of suss already. then it got busy and she came back out saying that they were 'no good' and cause there were so many ppl we didnt get a chance to check properly the returned items.. she just dumped them and left.. and it turned out she 'returned' the bra she was wearing and essentially, stole one of our ones. yan was so pissed off... like.. she slipped through our fingers damn it!!! and thats just totally disgusting but at least we got a good look at her.
extended trading begins tomorrow. yay (hear my sarcasm)

i don't know whats funnier. the fact that we got smashed at work and there were rumours that district maanger was on his way or that my (naughty/well, naughty) godbrother dialled triple 0 when i was at his place tutoring his brother and then his mum took him out and the police arrived. and they were like 'we received a triple 0 call from a small child...?' and i was like '....wtf? i dont think so....' and yeah so had to give then details and sht. far out.. no offence but thats just really irresponsible parenting *sigh* at first i was well surprised, then i was not surprised and then got to the stage where i was like apologising to the officers for wasting their time (and thinking of how irresponsible his mum was) and yeah.

i tried to make a gingerbread house today. it was good until it started cracking. guess i was too impatient and mentally tired for it. so i ended up binning about 3 bags of confec along with one batch of gingerbread. i might try again later on in the week pending time. it hurts more when your parents tell you theyre not disappointed. in need of some stability.

okay so like im back in sydney but i have so much catching up to do and stuff on my pile on my 'to do' list that i will pretend that im not reallly here.
add on top of it my phone woes and the list gets greater.
maybe in a couple of days when things settle down will i feel more normal.

so a drive to uni today leads to some unexpected outcomes.
1. paid for parking.

as for the study side.. hmm.. well.. i think its debateable where i get more done. however, it was worth it to see people =) [awww......]
i mean one past paper exam q with answers took 4 hours to figure out?!?!

its just my luck that my tutor for mets has consultation today and on weds but not tomorrow when im going to uni to study. yay. perfect timing. at least the marks are up. oh well im hoping its not a major loss.
do u think its inhumane of me to raise sea monkeys so that i can feed them to my fish? i mean, its just nature right?

rocked up to work early today.. so i bought seamonkeys and some starburst and we were all eating starburst for the rest of the afternoon =D

hahaha and it mustve happened cause donna and i were talking about how nothing interesting except sleepiing happens during stuvac. with the exception that i go to work.. and there, there is the possibility of 'interesting' things happening.
well firstly, daniel stuffed the rosters. like majorly and apparently the copy that i saw was like the nth time he did it. and he still stuffed it. i was like 'so er.. are we supposed to have 3 ppl in kidswear on a saturday afternoon and no one in the morning?' LOL so marwah was fully like.. u stuffed it!! i cant blieve you!! do it again!! HAHAHA all while i was cracking up. =D
and then nightfill. well, theyre not v good at sending us proper stock anymore.. so i ended up helping at sound today. safers are so much fun. my finger is internally bleeding now (note the sarcasm). but we did get to watch transformers whilst we were doing it. =D =D =D =D =D =D =D made it worthwhile.
then had to clean the dock and excess. and we were waiting for edy downstairs and he calls the dock. and stupid pip answered (as in he was being his usual silly self) and only half passes on the msg. what edy said

and so we had to walk around the store with a broom srly freaked out because is has happened before. (they hid in the fire hydrant). thank goodness it was a false alarm. so didnt get out until bout quarter past 9 but what an adrenaline rush...
and one of my cousins are cute. hahaha as a joke, i put 'whats consolidation' on my msn name and she took it to heart giving me all this advice and how she still doesnt get it and stuff.. hahahahaha tats so sweet and unexpected.

there are those days when you wake up and feel like doing nothing and then theres vice versa. slowly getting through consolidation. it doesn't mean i like it any more.
i wonder if these stuvac days are even worth blogging about since nothing really happens. like theres the sleeping and theres the studying and well thats actually about it..

im currently debating whether or not i'd like to change my aquarium to a densely planted one as opposed to the low-maintenance (theoretically) one i have now. its probably extra money and time i dont have.. but its prettier.. i guess. what a tradeoff. but then (laughs at myself) its probably another one of those outrageous ideas that comes of too much time daydreaming.

its so typical that we have all our target functions when we have the biggest sales. this time it was the biggest of all with the 15% off storewide. so yesterday, it was work until 5 and have one hour to get home and get dressed for a night out. it was fun though =D
big johns is not what its cracked up to be. the only thing they pride themselves on is their serving sizes. which more or less scared all the girls the salads and dishes were literally 2-3 times the size at another restaurant. service was SO SO SO shit. the place was so so so hot and so so so cramped. like the we got our food (on our table) an hour before the guys and we were finished eating and theyd only just got their food. great timing.
oh yeah and elena needed to get money out so we trekked it to maccas and bought cookies. and we pretended we were "hungry" before we even got to the restaurant. HAHAHA
some of us walked and some of us hitchhiked to the intersection where both of our under 18s got in pretty easily (quote martin to laura 'go for the dumb one [bouncer]'). LOL but hey it worked.
bumped into marija and dunka there. that was interesting and well reather pleasant, plus they were frends with elena too =)
saw a couple of rowdy fights. hahahaha u shoulda seen us all we were just standing around staring.. i think daniel tried to get us to pretend not to look.. him being store manager and all. not that he could do much..
and omg jan jan jan... shes never gonna live it down. end of story basically. 3 red bulls. 1 bottle of vodka. sailor moon costume. couldnt stand up straight. etc etc. obviously she cant remember much.. never gonna look at her the same way again but we still love her.
i was actually quite okay this morning, just tired, after at least 6 drinks. kind of a mellow night. towards the end we just watched the boys play pool and sat.
but today at work.. f f f f f f. theyre out to kill me. i had an afternoon on the registers and i know why i HATE IT. cant walk around. say the same thing over and over again. cant talk to people. bump into ppl u dont want to see. have shitty customers. youre basically on ur own. its shit in a word. and before that i felt like i was all over the place. =(

i did all the required qs but one for my metrics workbook. it all sounds cheery and good but the last question it probably equivalent to being the other half of the workbook itself. but i got somewhere today.
dad was picking me up from the centre and freakin hell it was like the rain was waiting for me until i came out. it literally poured and poured and would not stop pouring and i got drenched in the 30 seconds it took for me to get in and get out of the car. and i am not good with lightning either. grr. and he had to drive his crappy car that ISNT PARKED IN THE GARAGE. i mean out of the three, he chose his own? why?? (at about this point my sister would be saying 'oh, dont be such a diva.')

so i was sort of running late this morning cause i didn't get up until 7:30 but i arrived at the station just in time to bump into well, everyone basically.
at the ticket machines, elisa was there and at the platform, jen was there so we caught the terminal together. talked.. and as ive already told ppl, made the biggest booboo of my wednesday mornings this semester to date. i let out way too much information.. just like walking into some really stupid trap. at least thats how i see it. and yes i realise that im overreacting.
anyhow, so i let it slip that i do the same subject as elisa and that i'm always going to the gc after exams etc. really smart eh?
anyway, so at least my lecture made up for it.. we were discussing the terms in this model and my lecturer goes

LOL and everyone just cracked up.
and then we were tryin go bargain with him so we could start later next week since it would be a short lecture and he's like no i really dont think thats practical cause i have to be on a flight at 12. and everyone was like groaning and then this guy goes. 9:30.. we'll call a cab for you straight after. HAHAHAHA nice try. but its okay. think i'll finish early next week anyway.

i realise that i haven't been spending much time here on my blog but well, i am so emotionally (and partly physically) drained that i just cannot bring myself to write about my days.
for the first time in many months, i got to see lil baby guppies swimming in the tank outside. that made me really happy. at least i know that they're not all sterile and they are having babies. cause haven't really noticed an increase in population these couple of months.
went to uni today for a very boring accounting lecture that we left halfway through.. then went to the heffron to be productive in a cats room (they had nice seats). we weren't really productive (no thanks to donna and carl who were either trying to sing a duet or having a singing competition - im not sure which) so i went to a lab for an hour and tried to do my infs assignment. got some stuff done. realised that i would actually need to rebuild my whole access file from scratch on a 2003 platform (damn you MS and uncompatible versions.. pieces of F***ing shits). so i was doing that for the past couple of hours on my sister's computer.
rach gave val and i a lift home and we were being quite political today and debating (yes i use that word cause val likes to debate) about the parties and their agendas and what not.
came home, godbrother was over AGAIN.. he seems to be over a lot these days. and he ate more than me for dinner!!! he's another carbohydrate-starch-and all things bad in my POV's lover.
currently deciding if i can be bothered to go to uni tomorrow. although if i did, i would be driving. all the way for one tutorial.. needs thinking.
word of the day: prima facie

the day that i finally get a morning shift, it turns out to pretty much backfire on me. i had a very hard time getting up and i don't know why. i rock up to work half asleep and looking hung over and the first two people i see are wayne and luke respectively. needless to say, i didn't hear the end of it.
then i find out that there were a few trolleys of stock to put out. that was okay. the shrinkwrapping that came with it was not.
and to top it all off, it mustve been the busiest saturday in like months. literally people would not stop coming in and code 1s started at 10. that is unheard of. haah and steve jokes that its cause of our hot new registeres. yeah right. nice try though.
there was this lil girl.. i'd imagine she was in year 6 or 7 and she went to the fitting rooms to try something on. and she tried to walk right past us. so we were like excuse me, how many do you have? and she turns around like she's all guilty of something and shoves watever she had behind her back. and then we're like you cant go in if you dont let us count the number of items you have.. and she sort of rolls her eyes and shows us she wanted to try two bras on. poor girl was embarassed.
and second incident of note.. this customer came in today with a guide dog (obviously she was vision impaired) AND THE STUPID GUY STANDING AT THE DOOR SAID TO HER 'excuse me, you can't bring dogs in here'. OMFG... enough said. how offensive.. and yeah.
after work, went to burwood for amy and andrew's housewarming party. bomberman on xbox live is fun fun fun =D. and their place is literally like 50 metres from cherry's place. pretty big and nicely decorated =)

anyhow, i havent done a nursery cage in so long.. it was actually fun. we have the cutest new products from sesame beginnings. baby elmos and big birds are soooooooooooo kawaiiiii!!! and then it was markdown madness.. man.. i even bothered to sort the two crappy s-trolleys with well, crap. marked it all down and wrote signs on them. and i minature relayed girls undies.
and looks like target will be geting drunk again really soon. HAHAHAHAAHAHAHA sooooo basically that means and i am warning you now, that ppl should not come to shop on the sunday cause everyone will literally be too hungover to be able to assist you. =) fun fun.

i decided to try rearranging some of the furniture in my room only to realise that all the furniture was probably already placed in the most convenient, space saving and logical way already. so i ended up throwing out a lot of shit instead =D

seems like i did a lot today when in reality, it was close to nothing.
went to uni to crash the accounting lecture today since i dont have to work. lecture turned out to be like an hour only anyway. we spent the next 3 hours in a meeting room in the heffron building. that was fun.. we even made an itinerary for the GC..
my lips are really red cause they're really dry.

probably my last night fill with wayne forever. =( anyway, we didnt really do much (and there wasnt any kidwear stuff anyway). so we sort of just talked for a couple of hours. some of the stories he was telling us about his contiki tour..

so da company gave me a cheque for 137 dollars for business registration at the DFT and they increase the fee to 142. so i had to temp pay the 5 dollar difference. and i come back and give the girl the receipt and explain to her that she has to give me 5 bucks in petty cash. and omfg.. i dunno if shes thick or wat, she just didnt get it. and she at one point thought i owed THEM 5 bucks. its not that hard.. i suppose thats wat you get when theres a language barrier. her english wasnt top notch and she only spoke mandarin. so it took a while.

yesterday, went back to the car to my boss' bmw, and i dunno why but obviously it was some sort of practical joke, there was one of those real estate 'leased by' stickers stuck on his window. we were like... wtf?? hahaa tat was funny but i think it could be labelled as damaging property.. something along those lines. anyhow, we managed to peel it off and my boss is like staring at the glass going 'omg, its so clean now!!' LOL
today in macro lecture, the phone (u know the one where u call for assistance) rang. and my lecturer (who is really funny anyway) was like.. should i answer it? and everyone was like yeah yeah do it. and he pretends to be some random person. HAHAHAHA whole class was cracking up. obviously it was a wrong number..

so i've listed this massive ship wreck on ebay (for aqauriums). all i'm asking is $20 for it right. and the thing is literally massive. and ive indicated that pick up would be preferred, email me for postage. and im am utterly overwhelmed and amazed at the number of emails for postage quotes to interstate, namely qld as far as 4677 and the likes. really baffles me cause you'd be paying about $45 for postage. okay, so the thing is worth $150+ retail but still.. all that trouble?? im guessing when you're hobby is fish, you'd do anything.. i can be like that too. never in my wildest dreams did i imagine such a massive response for a used tank ornament. but im not complaining. not at all =)

lets start off with this morning.
the coin only train ticket machines. one was closed. the other was freaking faulty. the girl in front of me had her coins keep popping out. but since all the other lines were unusually long, i waited. she finally got her ticket. and it was my turn. so i ask the machine for a concession to central return and start slotting my money in. it spat it back out more than once. and then i hear this guy behind me go

"it's people like you that make me late for my train."

and i was like WTF? can you not see that this machine is retarded? so i was gonna turn around and say something.. but then i realised it was luke (obviously he was jokin). so we stood there for longer than usually necessary trying to put money in. we finally got our tickets =D that was fun. i even just managed to get on board the sydney terminal.
at least the buses were pretty good today.
i got to leave early cause there were no infs classes. so on a whim, i went for a swim. (hey tat rhymes). as expected, it was fully totally packed. managed to some laps and spent some time in the steam room. feels gooooood
was so buggered by the time i got home i didnt even realise that i napped for about an hour.
i made dinner though.. vegetarian lasagna and baby spinach salad.. it turned out really really good. even mum liked it and she dislikes pasta dishes!! =D btw, i made the pasta from scratch. (bonus points for me)

btw, my mum used my fairly new toothbrush (thinking it was an old one for cleaning) to clean the edges of our bathroom. i didnt know whether i shouldve laughed or cried. like how do you get it mixed up?!?!

it was SO HOT today. and its so uncharacteristically dry as well.
anyway, overnight, this hourse burnt down about 1 and a half streets away. apparently my sister heard the sirens last night in the really bad windstorm. so mans walks past the place to work today and shes like its gotta be an insurance claim cause that house was like really old and shabby and literrally slanted as though it was about to fall apart. the poor house next to it got pretty burnt up too. haha and she was joking about how the ppl were trying to save (out of all things) their cds cause it was all over the road and sidewalk.

i added another cake tin to my collection. im currently thinking about upgrading my baking tray collection.

went for a walk around the city today with donna. didnt really buy much.. a top, pair of black flats.. oh and the lindt cafe in darling harbour =) so to make up for it i went back to hurstville and bought 8 fish. hahaha no, i just wanted to. chu ma ma's is actually pretty crap now. the little steamed buns had a really thick flour/dumpling layer.
went from market city to pitt st.. felt really good to walk around cause of all da exercise.. we even used stairs!! haha and victorias basement was pretty cool. they didnt really have what i wanted but still.. love kitchenware and homeware =) donna bought herself a bowl
and i do not want to see another moon cake for the rest of the year.

there were these two other chicks at the office today.. so it was like.. uh.. kind of crowded?? felt like i had no personal space. and didn't feel as special cause i wasn't da only girl =( hahahaha

i haven't done a 4 hour shift on a weekday afternoon for so long that i've almost forgotten how it feels like. it's really BORING!! closing and pick up takes an hour at absolute maximum so for the rest of the three hours i was walking around and made my heel bleed cause of my new flats. im SO smart eh.
anyhow, there were all these new faces and it made me feel kind of out of place cause i didn't know them. and it just goes to show how close knit the weekend staff are. cause we're all like the same age and stuff =) its like a completely different place on the weekend.

i have literally been sitting here since 8:30 this morning doing the same thing for more than 12 hours straight. as much as it can be fun, running regression models gets frustrating and confusing not to mention that my back is killing and my bum feels flat. i've had about 3 litres of tea today which is why im kind of perky now. but i think i did okay (in between the time i wasted staring out the window listneing to savage garden and browsing ebay).
ive got an executive summary, conclusion and an appendix to fix up. and some editing of course. page limits are better than word limits anyday!! =D
ive neglected to do my acct homework. theres always tomorrow morning but i really doubt theyre going to check AGAIN to make it three weeks in a row. thats just stupid right?

weekends make me so lazy. at work we were saying how we had a total of 8 shifts on the weekend and thurs nights and 5 people. which is why basically all of us were getting absolutely crap shifts. ie, a maximum of two shifts a week. as if we needed all those new ppl. not happy.
we relayed the back wall of girls 7-16 (perhaps against our better judgement. wasn't really in the right mind at the time). anyhow, we managed to get the stuff done. i mean, it was a pretty quiet day.
im so glad i have a day off tomorrow cause metrics assignment is gonna be the death of me. its not that i dont want to do it, its more like i dont know where to start cause theres a lot of bs that goes along with it. and i want to write good bs and not bad bs?? plus running models gets really frustrating. especially when shazam doesnt know what ur trying to tell it to do. hahahha or maybe cause i suck.

you might all remember a certain ancient history teacher who was a total bitch back in our high school years. well, she came to shop at my store today and in my department. and she was a very very bitchy customer (thank goodness she never had me and didn't recognise me). anyway, she was asking for the girls PJs section, so i pointed and told her that all our pjs were just opposite where she was standing. and she goes 'where? is that all you've got? there weren't any size 14 or 16s that i could see.' so i took her there and slowly showed her all the stuff we had. (there was heaps). and shes like pulling stuff out from everywhere and making a fine mess of things and not caring that I, ME, would have to clean up after her. couldn't really believe it... like she didnt even hang it back!! she let it fall on the ground!!
oh yeah and thanks to the people who opened all the stuff in nursery and tried to assemble it. asses.. we couldnt fold it back up and now theres freakin too many displays. why?

oh wait, i forgot about the 2 minute storm. it was hailing at our place.

i don't know if im overreacting but i feel like i've had a really bad day with bits of good stuff in between. before we went to work, my boss had to drop by the airport and shit happened there.. and it was like a really bad start to the day. then took us ages to get to the office cause of the traffic.
but i got to run errands today =D went to asic and stuff and that was really fun (yeah, catching a bus up george street and waiting in line for 40 minutes is fun). and so's binding a bunch of paper. HAHAHA. on and typing up minutes.
um.. we left early cause we had a meeting in lidcombe and parramatta road was so highly congested it took ages and ages to get there.
and haha this takes the cake - the whole cake.. except maybe the icing's missing.
so i decide to go out to westfield to say hi to ppl and you know, thursday night shop. (not that i did much shopping) and i didnt bump into them not once but twice. i walk into myer and theres elisa and jenny shopping together like two happy little bumchums. yeah okay, i can handle that. we even made mostly unforced conversation for a little while before we said bye. (incidentlly, they were shopping for michelle and annies presents.. doesnt that make me feel so much better). so then i go into target and say hi to ppl.. and cause i was supposed to work tonight hahaha oops, and laura was tehre for once. and that was all good.. and i got out of target and there they are again, only this time julia's with them too. up until today, i have only seen her from afar.. no contact, and i couldve pretended that i didnt see her. but no. i had to look at her today and well, it was her that refused to acknowledged me.. cause i kind of waved at her.. them in general. and she was looking everywhere but me. good on her.
the bright side, im gonna make the cutest cupcakes cause i learnt how to today.. when i get the chance. =D

we went to dinner tonight at campsie for my parent's anniversary. it was okay.. half bbq and half food. they didnt have dubooki though =( we got back just in time to watch the chasers and lmao. they were so good.

so i spend my lunch break going to marketcity to shop. hahahaha isnt that just SO typical of me. anyway general pants were having this massive sale so i managed to grab a coat and a pair of jeans for a $60 in total. =D
the city seems to be generally more quiet be theres still heaps of hustle and bustle.. it was just the clearways that were well, clearways this morning. traffic was still pretty heavy along the princes highway. which could also be because all other cars are forced to use the highway. hmm

econometrics has taken me until now and although there is a sense of satisfaction that i've finished it, i am so so so tired.

for those of you who know where i live, in particular the kind of street i live on, you'd know that there is literally no traffic. ever. except for residential cars. thats because we're sandwiched between two pretty busy streets that connect through to kingsgrove and beverly hills.
currently, there is a constant flow of cars, trucks and buses through my street. and i dont know why. its making it so noisy and its really quite fascinating cause who would've thought.

so i get off at the first bus stop, walk to OMB where i had my lecture and theres this guy in front of me at the door to the building and u know how its polite to like hold the door, and he turns and im like 'hahaha look who it is..' and hes like (as he usually does at work as well -_-) 'wynnniiiiee!!'.. so yeah tat was freakishly conincidental. and haha he was like wat r u doing in OMB? and im like i had a lecture like duh. and hes like r u sure ur not doing drugs? lol sure
anyhow, i bought 35 dollars worth of cellophane from ebay. =D dont ask me why. i felt like it. hahahaha

had quite a few issues with my computer in the last few weeks. it decided to fix itself today after many many restarts and frustrated screams from me. i was kind of putting up with it after i established it wasnt a worm or a virus or a trojan thinking that my system just needed a detox and defrag at most. hopefully its okay now.
it was hot today =D and i had an accting homework check. out of all weeks.. she picks the hardest. anyhow at least its not marked based on if u got it right or not.
trains were really effed up this afternoon. all fully packed so i couldnt get on until like the third one and even then i was squished like a sardine. cityrail is hopeless.

maybe its the common mondayitis but i really didn't want to get out of bed this morning. even though the sun was shining, i still felt cold.
anyhow, the traffic was really bad. on the princes highway it was 2 lanes with trailers and the third lane had a car sticking out of it in the driveway and my boss was like ur kidding me. and then there were these drivers who were like half asleep and stopping at a green light (???!!) and then ppl stopping in clearways and at the bus zone so it took awhile to get to the city today.
just feels like been through a whole battle before work's even started. at least its nice and warm today. i cant wait for spring!!! =D

it wasn't just two people. a third person quit yesterday =( nick's gone too now.
anyhow, work was really boring. we dressed our kid mannekin as a slutty tween with bling, sunnies, bag AND (most importantly) high heeled slutty pumps. we stuck stickers on each other, i got so bored i relayed boys underwear, we stood at soundbar for a long time. martin took a ladieswear call and the lady wanted 2 push up bras in black in a size 16c and edy and luke and mans and jan and i were fully cracking up at soundbar while he took the call. and he actually went off to find them!! HAHAHAHA tat was soooo funny.
it was really warm today so i walked home and im about 95% certain that the three guys who kept staring at me at the park near my place were ex-techies, at least one of whom i know their name and i think may have recognised me. so i came to one conclusion and the only conclusion that would make sense.. they were waiting for elisa to show up and i dunno, "hang" i suppose. im pretty sure one of them was jimmy. cause ive seen him at uni a few times too. the other two weren't as familiar but they just reeked 'elisas boy toys'. CAUSE ITS SO RANDOM TO HAVE 3 20 YEAR OLD GUYS JUST LOITERING IN THE PARK FULL OF LIL KIDS AND THEIR PARENTS AFTER 5 PM ON A SUNDAY AND IT WAS OBVIOUS THEY DIDNT LIVE AROUND THE AREA.
anyway, i got home and my uncle's (well it was my cozins but same difference) car was in the driveway i thought it was a regular visit but it wasn't. my cozin came over with her parents and her husband from fiji. apparently he arrived today and its like the necessary visit.. introducing him to all the relos and stuff. so yadda yadda.
oh yeah and a miracle happened today. almost literally. we thought another fish was lost forever. so i, on a whim (no, i wanted to do it the first time), took apart the cannister filter. and i found not one, not two, but THREE fish. one of which had been missing for about 5 weeks now. alive but very very very skinny. poor baby =( but im so happy he's still alive. =D right after i had to go and buy another 2 albinos cause i was so sad. so we rescued them and almost flooded the living room (thats why its such a pain in the ass to take apart a cannister filter) and made sure it wouldnt happen again. im gonna get some different colour guppies next so i can breed them. =D

so i mulled over it in the kitchen. i made a sesame cheesecake (my own variations) so i think it turned out okay if i may say so myself and some pastry thing that looks like a volcano. lol tat wat dad said but they taste good so what the heck.
oh yes and i cleaned the fish tank outside (and in case u dont know, that ones about 100 times worse than the one i had to clean inside) the water was black and it smelt and it was cold and there were THREE forgotten, rotten fish in there. absolutely disgusting. dad was suppposed to do it but no.. so i did it. gonna put plants and guppies in it sort of like a breeding tank for them both =)

and the wildly frealy coincidences keep happening. donna sent a text around about she wasnt feeling well and went home early. and my sister apparently came home from school today cause she wasnt well around lunch.

i was sort of sorting and cleaning out my wardrobe and there were all these boxes on the bottom with things from the past.. im talking about highschool AND primary school. man, how i've changed. i had half a heart to throw it all out. obviously i didnt

i made our fish tank explode (accidently of course) and now the water's all cloudy and smells like alcohol. if it kills my fish i'm gonna jump off a cliff. basically what happened was i was producing co2 from a bottle and it all got too much.. there was too much gas and the airstone wasnt emitting it quickly enough so it burst and the yeast got into the water. i think it should be fine. i mean its not like its toxic. yeast is edible. it just depends if my lil fishies can deal with it. *fingers crossed* i dont want to have to change the water in the middle of the night in the freezing cold.
i know im whining but me as a member of generation Y is not use to copying notes from an overhead during a lecture. i need powerpoint slides!! hahahaha nah, i can survive. it wasn't that bad.

it was so funny at work too cause our ISP was down all day and the server was down for a while so we couldnt really do much. one of the partners left early cause she couldnt take it any longer and the others were like literally moaning all day about how they couldnt survive without the internet. i thought that only applied to generation y. apparently not.
and im still unable to upload my pictures.

this morning i washed the mahjong and we played another 8 round of mahjong. and hAHAHAHA i swear da mahjong listened to me cause i was so nice and gave them a bath cause i managed to win back all that i lost and them some. and dad had to "wrap" (bao) a self pick 8 fan. ahh me so good =P uncle won heaps too. he kept winning like 5 in a row and they were all medium to large wins.
we were gonna have a bbq today but it was raining pretty heavily so we turned it into a shove everything in the oven and play mahjong while u wait for the food.
apart from that stayed home while they did their last minute shopping.

yesterday i got to be da driver =D we went to the blue mountains which was actually a pretty easy drive. not that far although there were quite a few cars considering. and the weather was really good. like there was a bit of sun and the mountain was actually blue and it was clear and you could see the three sisters pretty clearly. but like any other tourist destination in sydney, its a bloody rip off.. from parking to the skyway and scenic railway rides. and cause my aunt and uncle are so chicken and afraid of heights, we went for a little bit of a track walk instead. didn't stay too long since there wasn't much to see.
we went to canley vale for lunch. and of course, you'd have to have viet food there. and we went to buy fishies!!!

and i got 2 clown loaches the other day here in hurstville. and i have been convinced that i should not be buying discus cause they dont do too well in community tanks not to mention theyre shit expensive.
we took the scenic drive on henry lawson drive home. and you must be pretty stupid to be speeding there cause the cameras were in the jin-est positions but there were about a million speed camera warnings before you get to it. but doing anything over 60 there wouldve been so easy. (valval i feel for u) anyway it started to rain so it got slippery.
came home for a bit and went with mum and aunty to buy groceries and souveniers. and i walked past valerie. hahaha she was carrying this giant green stuff toy that she won from capital (after spendding $20... $40 for two since she was with rach who also allegedly has one) and shaking her head cause i didnt see her. -_- sorry my bad.
and i convinced them all to play 8 rounds of mahjong with me so we didnt go to sleep until 4 am!!! but it took me forever to 'open/eat' my first game. and we bet with real money. so im really really really poor now. but hey, its worth it =D

went grocery shopping. there were heaps of ppl for no apparent reason.

i think i have a disorder with thing being neat and tidy and clean and ordered.

it was the tour from hell.. cept the driver. he was pretty cool (cause he wasnt asian and he was nice and very patient cause i wouldve lost it on the 2nd day)
in short. it was 6 hour trip there. hired all our skiing gear and stuff and got to the motel at 2:30 am and got 3 hours sleep.
we went to mt selwyn on the second day only to see grey skies and heaps of rain. so naturally, that meant we couldnt really do much so we were indoors for the day (we sat at the cafe drinking hot chocolate basically from 11 until 3 and it was a freakin rip off.. milo for $3 a foam cup O_o) anyhow, my cozin and uncle went for a toboggan and they got drenched so yeah.. kind of cold u know. had a pretty shitty "hot pot" dinner as well.. cause it was catered by non-asians, we had chicken and beef stock as the soup base, soggy vermicelli and rice boiled in chicken stock.. sound tempting?
today was awesome though. perisher was blue skies and not too cold. so took the kid tobogganing. i wouldve gone for a ski but i didnt want to by myself. so nevermind that. both smiggen hole and perishe ski fields were pretty packed. on the last few runs we even managed to get some air from going over a rock =D that was so mad.
anyhow, about the tour bunch. they were annoying, selfish, inconsiderate, late, etc. there was this fuckin shanghai woman who had halfie kids.. she had 5 ppl so obviously one would have to sit separately.. and there was this group of 10. and basically, the seating was fucked and everytime they got on the bus, they just sat anywhere and refused to move. so we wasted so much time because of them. like if everyone gave a little and was more considerate there would be no issues. even other ppl who werent affected were like just fuckin sit down and she was yellin at everybody about how 'in china, we would always sit together.. theres no such thing as sitting separately' and at that stage i wanted to be like 'this is fuckin australia, just shut the fuck up and sit down u bitch'. poor driver had to pull over and he was fully shaking his head probably muttering 'why why me? unbelievable...' i feel for him man. and then she kept raving on about it and HER KID FUCKIN THREW UP ALL OVER THE PLACE. STUNK UP THE BUS. disgusting pigs
oh and no joke, this girl (on our tour) fracturered her leg on a fall on the slopes. she was in ospital and shes in a cast and crutches. ouch
i wouldve preferred a weekend at home and a shift at work. no joke. at least we're back now.

after making waffles and a hurried gym session and then going via the post office to send a parcel, we went to the city. and as a sydneysider touring the city, i think its really really expensive (transport wise)

quiet day in the office and got home just in time cause mum and dem just got back from canberra (where they bumped into my sister who ironically, was on the school trip to canberra) and went out to miss saigon for dinner.
den i bought this bunch of stuff from kmart and hahaha i was like.. damn so cheap. i got another much needed cookie tray and smaller cake tin and a wire rack and a huge photo frame for less than 25 bucks!!! even my uncle was like.. u got that much stuff??? O_o
oh and dropped by target cause sara wanted to talk to me. i seirously have either cancelled or said im unavailable for more shifts than i have worked. i think its pissing her off but i was like 'aww but u love me' hahahaha

made a cheesecake today.. to me, it has zero difficulty and its no fun cause its not challenging. im gonna try for a green tea and baileys one soon =D

i have a complete lack of motivation at the gym at the moment. its great and all that theyve upgraded or updated all the equipment, but in the end its the same stuff over and over again and like eating the same thing everyday, its kind of boring. so i need some new inspiration. ive been searching for awhile now in this context.
my acct tutor's quite the bitch and it was a pretty ordinary day at uni except for the fact that rach came to my acct lecture eventho she was sitting all the way on the other side of the theatre. oh and "her boyfriend" was with her. lol we got let off a little bit early so i managed to make it home before 6 for once.
parents took relos to wollongong and fish markets today so we had seafood for dinner. =D LOVE prawns and mussels and oysters.
anyhow, apart from all this, im quite the tired and feel as though something's missing. like in the shower, no matter how i turned the two knobs, it was either too hot or too cold. i just couldnt find the right temperature today. its taken me the better half of two hours to draw a stupid mindmap and i really cant be stuffed to do anything else at the moment.
and i had an early start tomorrow.
carbs are ruining my life again. *sigh*

and i still had work today. hehe i got to sit in da boss' chair today.. cause he had a client meeting and so i had to do stuff on his computer. felt so important. HAHAHA not
anyhow, yeah so i left the office at 6 today which is early cause i didnt get a lift home.

so i was standing on the verandah/balcony today and it was sunny so it was really nice. and i found it abolutely fascinating that there were flowers on the rosemary bushes and bees were gathering nectar or pollen or whatever it is they gather from flowers. it was so pretty.. and u can tell im not one who ventures out to the garden very often eh?
i got paid out by 3 managers cause i was late in putting in my unavailability. ahhaha edy was like.. we're not disappointed, just upset.. u didnt even give a reason! at least come up with a dodgy reason. HAHAHA i thought it would be kind of slack of me if i said i was going skiing.
anyhow, because of this unexpected sunday shift (mans and i are alternating now) i have tons of work to catch up on before i fall behind when uni has barely started.
and i need one roll of contact for each of my accting books cause they're so thick and fat. and my tutor expects us to bring the damn thing to each tutorial. damn it im taking public transport this semester!!!

when i dont want to be rostered on on a sunday, i am. *sigh* ah well. need the money anyway.
so i got kind of bored and i started baking cookies.. fun fun. i made cookies with random ingredients and turned out really well.. choc chips, oats and peanut butter. =D
plus gingerbread men and shortbread faces. reminds me a bit of primary school and kids in the kitchen. so says the monkey
oh and i gave mans and luke a lift home since shes like a 3 min walk from my place.. and all the way home luke was like omg there are pooh bears in ur car and theyre dressed like other characters from pooh!!! and im like 'oh god...' and hahaha yeah
oh and there was a bitch fight at target today.. like randomly, these two women just slapped each other on the face.. something about being in the way and a fat ass. LOLS so funny.

we beat the knights =D =D haha i dunno why it makes me so happy.. cause there's still a chance for the top 8? and its a rare win..

rainy day.. perfect office weather which is where i am atm =) and i had rice for lunch today.. hahaha. but it was nice jap food so yeah.

i finally bothered to list some stuff on ebay. it took ages but well, at least theres some sort of sense of satisfaction. and hopefully i can make or at least not lost any money in the process.
and we try and try to organise a day to play mahjong but its so hard =( kind of sad. one day it will happen.
but its a thursday night and i was one of the shoppers instead of the workers! i dont understand how people have so much stuff to shop for.. like mum and i were like.. theres literally nothing to buy, why do ppl have bags and bags of stuff?
maybe its just us.. like some shops just give you zero motivation to be there and browse.

so i took donna's advice and went to the commlabs to kill some time since shes not at uni yet but no, i am not youtubing. =)

finally got my ass up and went to the gym... and so much has changed. everythings been moved around and theres heaps of new equipment!

i can no longer do a 4 hour shift without complaining that im bored and that im bored and well that i can't b bothtered. 4 hours is suck a loonng time. hahaha

like a whirlwind week at uni.. some more things happened today. i bumped into quite a few ppl, ex school ppl and work ppl and uni ppl from last semester. and haha, yeah OMB is initially so hard to navigate. trust the old physics building to be built on a slope.
got my textbooks and i had to lug them all the freakin way home cause dad couldnt pick me up. and i was like so tired cause im still so sick. so i was asking myself 'why did i buy these today again?' at least i have them now

i had four managers watching me like hawks in the lunchroom this evening.. i was on the floor and i suddenly felt really dizzy and lightheaded so i headed towards the lunchroom and by that time i literally could not see a thiing. i kept blinking and breathing but all i saw was black. marwah was calling my name and i was like.. yeah i can hear u and i know where ur standing but i cant see you. and shes like to the others, she went white like a sheet. anyway, so i could see after awhile and edys like can u stand? and im like.. yeah im quite sure i can. and so i had to prove it to him. hahaha and daniels like go sit in the first aid room but im taking that ball away.. and im like.. awww... and hes like.. ok fine u can have it. hahahaha i love them. oh yeah and while i was sitting they were trying to move this really heavy cabinet table out of the room hahahaa and they couldnt fit it through the door so marwahs there laughing and the other three are trying to turn the thing sideways and manoveur it out without losing their fingers in the process. oh and they were like u can go home. =D

i was actually really sick over the weekend.. like i was really dizzy and my head really hurt and all my muscles were sore. and so my parents thought they were such great doctors and were like 'yeah, it serves u right for not wearing enough clothes, etc etc'. pfffft i dont think so
anyhow, it meant i couldnt go to work haha yay =)
oh and all this hp fever.. i dont feel it... yet

like, i was trying really hard and looking for customers and asking if they needed assistance as opposed to them all coming up to me. at least i managed to sell a fair amount of stuff =)
like from 9 -10 we had .. 6 customers maybe? it was pretty quiet through out anyway.
but today.. dad and i went to three difference aquariums to buy more fishies!!! =D oh this was after i went to check my tank and see that another one of my tiger barbs were MIA. ie, eaten by the stupid big fish!!! he's literally eating all my money up!

i would LOVE a couple of discus fish (red, blue or yellow) to complete my aquarium but theyre so expensive.. and the ones they sell are a little big.. id rather raise them to be big myself rather than buy them fully grown. so will keep searching.
