arrived right in the middle of the waterfight... and rationally and probably quite smartly thought not to join in. excellent idea considering most of the other party-goers were completely soaked. the birthday girl got dunked in the pool too. haha.
it was like a grown-up version of a kids party. . . with all of the appropriate themed food, music, costumes and fun to go with!

been a busy but stress free week!!

and zumbo's wizz fizz sushi-train-style dessert bar. it was like salty and sweet and tingly and just mindboggling. your brain says no... hold on... YES!!!
followed by 4 types of macarons: black vanilla (the best), lychee (good) and two fails salted caramel (it was stale) and passionfruit & tonka berry (yuck). and btw, macarons in australia will never ever compare to those in france.
squeeze in maccas whilst waiting for justin and carmen. chicken and cheese burger, small fries and drink for change. okay, we had to go somewhere to get out of the rain and storn.

in HK for a week to visit her mum and friends. cause apparently when she has her two daughters with her she can't do anything she wants to do. LIES!!!! but good for her, and good for moi - someone to bring me back lots of shopping!
she has already called home 4 times since at the airport this morning. . . probs call every 2 hours during the week as well. -_-"
its a teeny bit annoying that there's no sun today when wendie and cousins were gonna go to the city and hang before our family dinners tonight. hopefully the rain will hold. i'm looking forward to some yummy chinese and little rascals running around. Occassion? Sarah and new hubs is back in town since the wedding in November last year to meet and greet everyone (again).
I kinda don't know what to do with 4 days off... last night almost felt like a Sunday night and had to get ready for work again!
Got an idea for D's cake.. finally!!! And thanks to Anna on Thurs for walking around QVB with me to look for inspiration - even if we do agree to disagree on the merits of Donna Hay. Now to pull it off...
