having inappropriate/ funny conversations in the lunch room
gossiping. and more gossiping.
taking time off (moot point now i suppose..)
going for coffee after work
and all those maccas drives
being showed how to "clean" the back dock back in the day by chuey (i.e. sweep all the crap under the modules)
helping little kids find their mommies

yeah, i'm beyond pissed off. its beyond comprehension. and i don't care what it takes anymore. because i no longer feel. its a bad dream that never happened in reality. it never existed.

i envy those who weren't in sydney today - including those on an aeroplane. its weird that i won't be seeing the boys again for a year. most likely anyway.

and these days, i feel like there is a void in my heart or in me. and somehow, i just can't fill it. i basically did nothing today. napped and watched videos. how time passes.

family gathering - extended family gathering in celebration for my 4th uncles 60th birthday. which meant we could play with an unbricked wii. and wii sports resort.

i want to jump into a pool. like now.

we talked and talked all night.

then we youtubed rpattz amongst other funny things.

and then drove to bondi to watch 2012.
so awesome, awe-inspiring.
so worth the voucher price.
and i didnt mind that it was almost 3 hours long.
although i dont think it was completely plausible.
and the two kids were so cute.

then i came back and had dinner - "dinner" - with chu and jan.
had a drink. didn't feel like eating.
said goodbye to chu =(

im not buggered.
ready for bed.

it was good. it was bad. it was exciting.
too much jacob. not enough edward. or the cullens.
but expected.
loved watching val "squirm" - exaggeration there.
donna wasted money on "new moon" popcorn combo.
and val on ultimate indulgence chocolate dipped strawberries
movie started late.
fangirls screamed during the trailers
the ending - the last two words of the movie in particular - was AWESOME
but predictable.
sleeping at 3 am is tiring.
we also mahjonged. k-ed. cooked. shopped. coffee-ed. marked papers.

started off with a press ad at work. 2 day sale my ass. had to do all this extra stuff because of it. and i think its d.u.m.b. to have 2 new people on the registers when its the busiest trading day of the week. guess who had to jump on the registers time and again?

apart from that, don't have much to say about mundane things. except when mayo asks

"so do you guys really want to go to the CSE cocktail party tonight?"

and i give him the most dumbfounded face ever: i was so lost. and i'm like

"what are you talking about? what party?"

was like the worse miscommunication ever - on the part of janice and bf. wasn't impressed with them.

after work, came home and changed and went to get janice. we went for a drive.

i dunno what my connection, if any, i have with that place. i just really really like it. the temperature was actually a couple of degrees too cool for perfect beach weather and probably the wind a bit too choppy for nice waves but it was still super awesome to R&R.

the fish n chip place we went to after year 12 isn't as good anymore. which is not surprising but is disappointing.

then we came back. and went to the CSE party which was actually down the corner from where i use to work @ the costume shop. LOL why?

and to watch gooley try to hit on nerdy girls. made him really self conscious about his shirt (cause jan and i didn't like it). =D not even going to mention the red tie.

and when we went for food at around 10:30. it was the bestest turkish pizza i have ever ever ever had. i dunno what it is about kebabs and pide when you're not sober, but it just tastes so much freaking better.

we stayed a while longer. turned down going to drunken K and took a cab home.

i haven't had so many drinks in one night in so long that i'd almost forgotten what it feels like to be super dehydrated during sleep. lucky for me, i remembered the water.

and thought i was dreaming when jan and chu rang me for the nth time (and 2 messages later) around 2 am. (i tried to ignore it. really i did). thanks guys. its a bit late asking at that time if i got home safe. lol. (for some reason, they weren't "thinking straight" when they directed the cab to bevo first instead of dropping me off first). cab driver was super nice tho. pretty talkative. so no dramas.

cause i was supposed to be the smart one

so i went to kmart earlier today to check out the prices of a few things.

and i was randomly browsing when this guy comes up to me and asks if theres a tarjay in the centre. so i directed him downstairs and he doesnt go away. and he starts talking to me and introduces himself whatever.

and i dont know wtf he was thinking.. but he asked if i wanted to catch up on coffee sometime and if he could have my number.

i dont know you. you look like someone who is dodgy. ive been taught not to talk (loosely termed here) to strangers.

and i was like in my head

"please dont be there when i go to work"

i was going to have another unproductively, boring, wallow in self-pity day.

so glad i didn't.

i took the mutts down to the park so they could run around. freshly mowed grass is awesome.

then i decided to be really really productive.

so i went and got vaccinated. it didn't hurt and my doctor was so funny. cause he was asking me all these questions about where i was going, etc. (since i asked if i needed anything else). And he was like as long as you're not stupid and eat from hawkers and drink tap water, you'll be fine.

and when he was gonna jab me, he asked r u allergic to eggs? (no), r u going to faint? (haha, maybe). and he's like

"r u sure u want to have CPR performed on u by a 62 year old, smoker, probably has bad breath? do u want to rethink that q?"

and then this other doctor comes in to get the same vaccine. and he's like

"oh quick! we have competition"

LOL. and it was over before i could ask... anyway i think it was more funny at the time.

then i went to valerie so she could sign my passport application.

LOL again. How many applications does it take to get it right?

3 apparently. and i only had 2 with me. so we had to drive to the local PO to pick up another 3 (just in case you know...). we are funny.

it felt a little like the olden days. big nightfill team. lots of cages. rubbish everywhere.

and it actually felt like a 5 hour workout because of the amount of work we were doing. i guess it felt good.

it also felt good to sleep throughout the day. it went by so quickly.

Sometimes it is so easy to forget the simple things. What makes you smile. What makes you laugh. Who you are happy with. What makes you happy.

So tonight i felt like i got reacquainted with the unforgettable 3+1 (perhaps, now 4+1). And for a moment before coming out, I actually thought it would be awkward. Why? I have no clue.

I guess the things is, no matter how much you talk via email or text, it cannot replace seeing each other face-to-face and talking. And what one writes could be interpreted in endless ways. Although there are some moments i will never understand. Nor do i wish to (i think).

Tonight was a good night. A short night but a laid-back, easy night but not one of the best nights. The movie: The Time Traveler's Wife (obviously not my pick) was so-so. Predictable in some ways. Not really mind numbing. Different.

And before my trip, i use to fling money on such nights uncaring of how much i spent (i would drive, pay for parking, have a few drinks, dessert, coffee, dinner, etc). Now i realise that the cost of living in Sydney is indeed, very expensive and often, not worth the price.
