i can't believe its already the last day of the weekend. i woke up thinking it was saturday!

started the day pretty early. went to visit my g'ma in hospital. she gets to go home on tuesday which is great news. :-)

then dropped mum off before getting JS for brunch at carss park. so nice and tranquil and lazy sunday-ish. until the sun came out and ruined it.

then it was back to the chores - grocery shopping and getting dinner for g'ma.

and its hot. like sticky, gross, humid hot.

what to do with the rest of my lazy ass sunday afternoon?

i am very surprised that it only takes 12 minutes on the m5 to get to liverpool / casula.

amanda's bro's with the gorgeous husky... just like shadow... with those big round eyes and another big black dog. both were such teddy bears. had a couple of snags there before moving on down the "road" (highway)

to amanda's place. with army guys. hehe theyre so funny. and pretty good lookin ;) was watching mr and mrs smith whilst drinking. and they were egging each other on about vodka shots in these massive shot glasses that amanda got. they were like 3 times the size of a regular shot glass.

i was having virgin cranberries of course. except that half a glass of champagne at the very beginning of the night.

and they were telling freaky ghost tales. like stop stop!!

pretty tame night really.

but good fun. funny people. good times.

coincidentally, its so so SO weird when say for instance, in the past, you talk about this random someone - not ever thinking that you'd ever meet them - and then, one day, like today, you do. and its like *lightbulb turns on* and everyone is that much clearer. that happened about 3 times today. i was like whoa!

had a pretty awesome party on Thursday night. my company definitely knows what's in and what's hot. the alcohol was flowing and the food was slow (but mostly delicious!) and it was an awesome night.

so much talking, mingling, chatting, connecting and DANCING!!!

my feet were killing me. KILLING me. but i had such a good time. i think everyone did. and when the event had finished, we troopered on... until my two TLs (new and old) got kicked out. LOL!

we all sort of separated then. some went to the casino, some stayed, some went to maccas, some home and some back to their hotel rooms.

i went to maccas and then to our hotel. my two TLs weren't very far behind. and then we all just passed out.

when i woke up it was like 7. and starving.

we showered, checked out, dropped off out stuff at the office and then went to hunt for food glorious food. nobody spewed. but everyone was talking.

cause my colleague deliberately poured a whole glass of champagne over this guy.

she came to work and was like.. omgomgomg... i'm just waiting for my letter of dismissal.

HAHAHAHAHAHA so funny. we talked about that a lot. actually, we were talking about it (and the rest of the night) all day. =D

and i think by midday, we were sobering up and feeling a little worse for wear. i remember answering the phone and it was the boys at spazzamatta and i was like 'please don't yell...'. XD

needless to say, not much productivity was going on.

oh oh and did i mention a couple of the guys in one of the other teams came in super late. one called in to say he'd be there in a half hour and rocked up 2.5 hours later and the other didn't show up until we called!!! hahaha he was like passed out and didn't even use his cabcharge to get home. and his phone was on his balcony?!?!?! LOL!!!

to caffeine.

i suffered withdrawal symptoms whilst studying.

and i had to have 3 coffees - 2 hot, 1 iced - to curb those symptoms today.

and also to keep me awake and to energize my braincells which, by the way, are now beyond fried.

a 3 hour exam and then 4 hours of going through, sifting, softing and answering the most urgent of urgent of over 100+ emails over a span of 3 days is not fun. especially when ur phone doesn't stop ringing either.

i felt like i hadn't been to work in weeks not just 2.5 days!

however, i am now FREE~

i feel like i've been so selfish - i've been cooped up in my own little world, literally, inside the four walls that is my room for the past few days when i should be caring about others - my family, my friends. and not just little issues like how's it going, what's happening. i'm talking serious issues.

i feel disconnected and i think i'm shutting out a lot that i'm feeling.

you might be able to tell. i blog about the vain, unimportant and shallow aspects of my life - what i choose to tell, not what i really should be expressing / venting.

why? because its easy. and i don't need to think about it.

but i think - from tuesday (i.e., post exam) - i need to start caring, to start thinking about all the things that have happened, and to start playing a more active role in fixing, listening and understanding.

so many things planned but i feel like i have to overcome this massive hurdle until i get to them.

i'm so excited about my company's 15th birthday. i'm so excited about the weekend starting the 5th. and i'm looking forward to catching up with the girls. i also want to go horseriding.

i need to face reality sometime too - the fact that my grandma has been in hospital for sometime now, that one of my best friends is going through probably one of the hardest times of her life, and of course, my never-ending battle with my weighty issues.

i've decided to start a new diet. and i hope, that this time, i will stick to it no matter how difficult it gets. i've got the exercise part down packed, and eventhough i have been cutting carbs out of my diet, i just feel that it's not enough. never enough. and it calls for extreme measures.

so many little things in life that define who you are. i think i've made an effort on many fronts. but i don't get the same feedback or responses that i feel are appropriate. but in life, one can only try.

it's almost, but not quite, like i'm about to start a new chapter in my life. almost~

got a VIP invitation to the Motor Showwwwww @ the Land Rover & Jaguar stand. Breakfast included.

some HOTTTT HOT HOT cars. got to meet a lot of big names in the industry, other fleet leasing companies, the CEO of Jag, MDs, general managers. Networking!~

Some $$$ cars. sleek and shiny and HOT! got to sit in them, touch them, ooooh... even the ones that were closed off to the public.

hahaha.. the industry is such a boys club! my team were the only girls there!!! hahaha

but really good time. greattttt to get out of the office! (came back to a farkload of work).

need to work heaps hard tomorrow. and then study even harder!

we "checked in" to the est and 4:30 yesterday afternoon (although we actually had permission to start @ 3, there was just way too much work to finalise and handover).

and we were planning to take it s-l-o-w. that worked for the first TWO drinks. HAHAHA

good crowd turn out. people came and went. so i think we all had a really good night all around.

janny-poo came after having dinner with her friends too!!! YAY!!!! i think by that stage i was pretty tipsy - but a couple others including my ex-TL (so sad... she's gone to the dark side) was absolutely gone - spilt two drinks at the bar, had to go to the toilet like 4 times, thank goodness we got there early enough to secure a long table and enough stools for all of us so that we didn't have to stand around all night!

so yes, we got to the stage where people were dancing and being really stupid. hehehhehe =D

janny and i left around 11. sooooooo tired still a LOT of people there for such an early start.

got to speak to so many people and learn so many things :-)

its hard to sleep when you've had 3 vodka red bulls as your last drinks (i can't remember how many drinks i was bought in between) but i bought the last round of red bulls...

woke up shitass early this morning too. like 7:30. didn't know what to do with myself. and it was so cold and windy!

also got my monthly that gets worse with age (i'll bet u were thinking i meant drinking and hangovers get worse with age!!) and the worse thing ever after a big night. i didn't even have a hangover but this just killed it...

someppl fix things. someppl make EASY situations confusing and difficult.

and its UNFAIR on EVERYONE when that ONE person makes OTHERS stay back because they put in all these THEORIES and HYPOTHETICALS into the otherwise SIMPLE equation.

i was soooo frustrated that i just had to leave at 6. My poor SFSMs were doing their heads in!!! not staying back any further than that... 3rd day in a row. just NOT on...!

i had a meat pie and pizza this weekend... and steak and chips at sizzler last night. yummo. oh and did i mention the ricotta cheesecake? although i do half believe that i will stick a finger down my throat and regurgitate it all back up.

i hate what has become of target. im disappointed in the people who i thought were friends. im disappointed in what the store has turned out to be. and im bitterly disappointed in the fact that if they are management, they will take advantage of you - no matter the cost including ur HSC and uni exams. SCREW URSELVES DUMB F*CKS WHAT DO YOU THINK IS MORE IMPORTANT.

no wonder i can't (ever) find the will to go back (again).

on a brighter note, i had a catch up dinner with a couple of really good tarjay mates. at sizzler!!! hahaha haven't been there in years! expensive for what you got but it was about the company. (janice didn't seem to think so...) but i'm always of the belief that its not where you eat, its who you're eating with. besides, we (after her insistence) went to D2Ds for dessert (although, it would have been included in the price we paid at sizzler... but nooo, she didnt like the dessert there).

yeah, i get annoyed at people who pay a decent about for a buffet... and then decide to leave to go and have dessert elsewhere eventhough dessert including coffee and tea is included at the buffet. a big WTF for me. because:
1. its one night
2. its a waste of money when u've technically already paid for dessert
3. its a bit of a drive from sizzler back to bevo (locally speaking)

so proud to see amanda and mon grow up so much. been through so much and still overcome it all :-)

havent opened my textbooks this weekend. so many chores to finish. had to go places. worry about other things.

and i get really annoyed when you ask for my advice. so i give it to you. but you don't want to listen. if you don't want to listen, then please don't ask. and if you think you are so smart, then you can figure it out by yourself. and its not that i don't want to be supportive, its the fact that you've asked for my help and then you say you don't need it. make up your mind.

it gets old - really fast. and it annoys me. a lot.

night out in the cross!! GIRLS ONLY.

met up with colleagues at her house in croydon pk. awesome little apartment. and we got to watch her wedding video which was soo sweet and cute. loved the dresses and the cars.

then we all cabbed it to the cross. nothing exciting here. except we started drinking in the cab. LOL. and bitched about a lot of things related to work.

we got to the cross surprisingly earlier than expected and we went to Goldfish. Almost immediately, we were hit on by some Scottish guy. like whoa... too early and way too soon.

got chatting... tried to hit on my married colleague... funniest thing ever. then he tried to hit on me... and offered to buy me a drink and tried to kiss me... things started getting out of hand... (and this is like EARLY on in the night)

and he took off his pants?!?! and all of the girls were just like.. OMG WANT TO PUKE... NOW. like really???????????? way tooo full on. ur ruining our night... so we all huddled and formed this exclusive circle and ignored all other guys for the rest of the night.

but have to say. 2 drinks = sober for the rest of the night.

that means:
~ get tired easily
~ time goes by slow
~ you get bored
~ you start to watch people in skanky dresses walk by through the one-way window
~ you wonder when you get to go home

and this is the first time that i've left the cross so sober, so early and so disturbed!

thinking of which, there was a very very heavy police prescence but not a massively packed crowd.

and in the cab back to my colleague's place, had window down as you do...

and there's this guy whos seemingly naked in the car next to us with nothing but a dog collar and a pair of wings on.

and my colleague's like flirting:

"so, what r u wearing?"

*light turns green*

guy:

"nothing. yeeeeeha!!!"

*drives off in a hurry*

hahahaha needless to say, we had the giggles for a long time after that!

got back to croydon park and stood outside trying to figure out the best way to get to ryde from there. hehehe

think we were all okay to drive. no mishaps on the way home anyway.

come home to see my sister at my computer. my CPA study guide covered in nail polish. charming.

just what i needed.
