A 25-YEAR-OLD man has died after being repeatedly stabbed during an argument with another man in a busy retail store in the centre of Hobart.
Police have launched a hunt for the second man seen to flee the Target store in Elizabeth Mall about 2pm (AEST).Shoppers witnessed the stabbing and are being questioned by police, while forensic officers examine the scene.
Inspector Peter Powell of Hobart CIB said the victim, from the northern Hobart suburb of Gagebrook, was stabbed several times.
"There were eye witnesses to the incident and detectives from Hobart CIB are currently following a specific line of inquiry in relation to the matter," he said said.
A group of people, believed to be the victim's family, were outside the store.

it was cleaning cleaning cleaning up after the tornado that stormed through the store from yesterday. and it was bad. i tried to keep the place as clean as possible but its kind of hard when you have 4 calls at the same time. LOL.. we were at layby. i was taking my calls. and im like.. who r the other 3 lines for? and theyre like
but i got to looky forward to getting home and messing up the kitchen. i made brownies and tons of cookies. choc chip and peanut and a healthier version with apricots and coconut and oats. took me a good 4 hours.. but i thinking its actually taking less time that had i done it say.. with "less" experience. everything just seemed to flow today. except for the fact that my mum bought raw peanuts with their skin on and i had to roast them first and then try and get all the skin off before i could use them. hahaha that was time consuming and kind of messy. but everything else was okay. there are different satisfactions from baking cookies and making cakes. i think anyway.
the godbrother and family came over for dinner. its like a regular thing these days. but hes been no fun lately. hes always sooking and crying and what not. so didnt pay him much attention. haha too bad.

i didnt have much to do at work today.. literally. so i had a bit of a reshuffle around the department. played around with the clothes. relay. spent a lot of the day talking. hahahaha we had our own little group on the floor - mao, clads, elena and me (which was like.. 75% of the people working on the floor) we were hidden between toys and homewares and yeah.. haha kept paying out martin about him and sam's 6 months anniversary. and elena kept going 'whipped' and mimicing whipping someone. so martin grabs a spatula to hit her and elena grabs a knife (it just so happens we were in kitchenware). came home and spent the day outdoors as i intended. washed both cars and cleaned out the garage and even let scout come out (on a leash of course).

donna started this by sending me a whole heap of photos of anything and everything (i.e. us) since senior high school.
it was mortifying at first. now its just... putting in simple words - especially when people (e.g. ex st georgians) dont recognise me (like they look right through you...) - i can understand. because (through looking at old photos and reading and looking at pictures in this archive, i can see how much i've changed. and its a lot.
and i can't blame people who don't recognise me. sometimes its even for the better...?

this morning, one of mums really close frends rang and she was like really really upset. apparently there'd been some issues going on with her and her husband (and a third party - and no, that does not mean infidelity) and they are finding it hard to resolve issues. and apparently the husband said to her:

the hour before 3b test, donna, valerie and i went and found a room in the library for a bit of last minute studying. and lol. since donna had her test later, she was fully busy on her phone (hahaha) and was pretty much ... not working? and attempts to sleep on the table.
and well, i'm attempting to study and all of a sudden, valerie, who is staring intently at my laptop starts to laugh like uber-majorly. and she keeps laughing. and i have no idea why. and im like totally lost. then she looks at her phone.
and ROFL.

and LOL. luke had a similar customer earlier too. it was just going off at the service desk. there as this customer who had purchased a $30 optus 2 GB broadband phone card. one of those cards where you pay $30 to get 2 GB. and the customer was like i want to know why i have no credit on this card??? and luke was like, yes thats right. because its been converted into bandwidth and you use the card like you would prepaid mobile cards - except that its for surfing the net. and the guy just did not get it. and it was so frustration. LOL.
oh AND AND AND a rat ran across the floor like a metre away from me. and claudia was like. yeah i saw that too.. from the corned of my eye. and im like O_O
and there was a massive code 1. it was so busy today. not sure why.
if i had the chance, i would've gone to a park or the beach or somewhere outdoors to enjoy the weather. it was fantastic!

and we sat until i had class which was like 4. and we watched all the people around us disappear... i mean, go to class and get out of the cold.
good thing that legal ended an hour earlier than usual. was so cold i was just not in the mood to listen about tax.
now trying to get donna to do accounting homework.
went to uni to try and study. ended up doing like only week 1 of legt stuff. i guess thats better than nothing? haha we couldnt find an empty room in ASOB. so we went to the library.

the first two parts of question 1 of 3b homework took me over an hour. if it wasn't for the homework check, i'm not sure if i would have bothered.

maree bought these sesame rolls that were sooo good and she was like.. i bought too many, here girls, take one each. HAHAHAHAHA. yay!! breakfast! i knew i walked to work for a reason. apparently i looked really dead after last night.
and then martin and luke were both working this morning and they bought a box of chocolate cookies. so we were just eating at sound.
and then LOL. i think they ended up getting busted for this.. safety. martins cardboard cage was getting full. and luke and him were gonna jump on it.. like climb onto it and squash it.. and clads was like.. no i wanna do it!! and shes like short short so it was like.. haha LOL. she was only as tall as the boys after she was on top of all the cardboard. and she was jumping on it when david (manager) walked past. and hes like.. wtf r u guys doing? LOL... shiat..
other than that was pretty quiet.
did i mention there's a rat in the house.

work was hectic. it was crazy. the carpark was full before 9 am?!?! i mean yes, it was wet and its the father's day weekend but still.
code 1s all morning. thank goodness i had too much work myself to have to take the calls. i wish some of the register people have some more brains and stop calling us for irrelevant and stupid questions.

anyhow, work was just a way for me to pass time in the morning.
i got home and dove straight into work.. via one game of mj. and i WON!!! LOL. 10 bucks just like that. hahaha SICK!!! but then i had to finish making my yummy goodies and help mum so i had to let the adults play. lols.
mille feuille didn't turn out... at all. the creme was just too runny after being refrigerated. i need to work out why.
the baileys cheesecakes were A-W-E-S-O-M-E. i actually dont think i made 'enough' cause special people get special priorities. *wink*
profiteroles turned out good. wasn't wat i had in mind to begin with. but it was better. i was really happy with them. =D

i coulnt sleep last night. i woke up either really cold or sweating and this morning i felt like shiat. so i took another 2 panadol. tat would be 4 in the last 24 hours.

first time i was almost falling asleep in tax lecture tonight. it couldve been so much shorter if stupid usual people hadn't asked so many freakin questions. cant they just ask them in consultation?? so we pretty much went for the full three hours.
