Not sure exactly what happened.

But it was an awesome, crazy but also restrained Friday night at my colleague's pad in Cremorne Point. That place is beautiful and so stunning, inside and out. It was supposed to be a 'tipple or two. More like a rose, GnT (more G than T) and numerous shots of Herradura Tequila. Classy stuff I tell you...

Everyone bought a little something... biltong, macarons, tuna en casas, hummus and the most beautiful jamon. So much gossip goes on when lawyers and risk and contracts let their hair down ;) Love it.

Practice for the Christmas Party we all said.

I did come home and fall asleep on the toilet seat at 1 in the morning. Sooo dainty.

Wasn't so good Saturday morning... but still managed to get to DFO for 2 hours to help stimulate the economy. Shoes, skirts and top. All for work. And a new pair of ankle boots too. Yay yay yay.

And late yum cha with Grandma and the fams. We were the only ones left in the large banquet hall lols. Followed by hot pot at night. Yeah, foodie weekend.

Getting the spitroaster out again tonight!!! So excited, we're gonna do pineapple, churrasco style! Cinnamon, maple and lime.

Catch up with the girls (and guys) last night... fun times!

Donna and I went to Ikea and DFO first. it was really busy and we both had to pull each other away from useless items we really wanted to buy but didn't need. Still ended up with photo frames, plates, cutlery and boxes. Love the kid's section!!

Had meatballs and lamb shanks for lunch. it was so filling but pretty good.

Then walked around DFO looking for those elusive nude, strappy, not-too-high bridesmaid shoes. no dice... :( why is it so hard??

A little disappointing...

Then we headed to hurricanes in darling harbour for an early dinner booking. people ended up being pretty late due to the wet weather. But better to drive safe! the food was pretty good... but we had like 2 rounds of food food which was pretty epic. but managed to finish it all as harry was on a cochlear salary. (yes, that was the joke of the night)

then we decided to go to brighton for bay vista which was pretty random but pretty cool. it meant that we would finish on a normal outing night time. had to be seated across two tables but still good. had the concrete peanut butter shake. it was ... challenging. but we finally finished it. YAY!!!!!!

went across the road for some beach time and trying to take instax but failed. so harry picked on cherry and stole her shoes and they went running through the wet sand. johnson and donna joined in. . . before it was time to go.

always going to be children!

and now have semi ideas of a road trip - maybe.

went to the gym thursday and friday morning!!! woohooooo

and got employee of the quarter at company meeting. that's what i'm talking about!! =D =D =D =D =D

finally convinced someone to go watch Red Dog with me. and janny loved it too!!! phew!! considering there was only 8 people on the whole cinema!!! LOL!! thats poor form for a friday night.....

went a bit crazy at the candy bar... coke, popcorn and maltesers.. haha but the popcorn wasn't as good as the bevo one. bit stale.. like not fresh. and too salty.

went for a latte after... and the pattern on my froth looked like a dog!!! i was like.. its a sign!!! ..... lame. lol

went to dfo today. didn't buy much for myself but still burnt a good hole in my wallet. ouch ouch ouch.

good saturday overall. yum cha, dfo, retail therapy, playing with nessie... :)

wendie got these marcs booties. i am so jealous. they look even better than my trendy nine wests. argh!!! she got a whole heap of shiat actually.. that i paid for!!!

i got the military jacket i was pinning after since forever. and a top. boring.

sale were good. . . but not what we were looking for. or no sizes left.. like portmans.... some awesome stuff.... but absolutely no sizes :( :( :(

oroton 60% off was tempting. but had no desire for it.

portmans further 50% off was GREAT!!! but most of the sizes were 6 or 16 . .

puma had no sale.

so all my reasons for going were pretty average... but i guess it was cause i didnt know what i wanted. and i didnt really have a great feeling about this being an awesome dfo outing.

i dunnos. it was just... plain, basic, boring dfo. no magic.

took my beloveds to the rspca. vet checks and booster shots all around. poor bubbas. scout has been recommeded to an eye specialist so need to organise that.

this morning, my challenge was to get a urine sample out of him. it was very very difficult but he finally peed on someone's wall and lucky for me . . . i had a dish waiting... YAY!!!

so we took that to the rspca to be tested and then me and wendie went to look at all the pups and cats and kittens and dogs up for adoption. and zomg zomg.

if i didn't already have scout and nessie, i soooo would have adopted either the spitz puppy or beautiful fly the border collie. he was sooo smart and obedient!!!!!

also satisfied my yum cha craving at my fav nrl club restaurant.

anddd went to dfo on a whim - and bought more for my sis that for myself. pretty good sales but as always, the tradeoff is that there are too many people.

has been - as i wanted - eventful everyday in some way

saturday - PERFECT BEACH WEATHER. so me and sis went for a drive down to our favourist beach in COALCLIFF - and on the way back (and we were supposed to be back by 6 cause relos were coming over) - took the wrong turn and ended up in PICTON. bwahahaha . . . but it was such a nice scenic drive. :-)

sunday - lounged a bit. cried bored for the first half of the day. then decided to go watch Little Fockers. H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S-!-!-! good for some laughs.

monday - ROAD TRIP!!!! Hunter & The Entrance. And for the first time, i wasn't driving. whooooohooooo!!! it was fun. even with the little bits of wet weather. one of juzzy's friends are like terried - like, seriously mortified - by birds. and we went to watch the pelikan feeding and he was like frozen with fear. it was sooooo funny!!! =D

tuesday - outlet shopping @ DFO!!!!!! some good stuff, mostly not what i was looking for. but the discounts were rad. wish i could've spent more.

YAY!

no, i refuse to take the blame for your mistakes.

and i am so glad that everyone around me has eyes.

another big friday night - big but tame!

drinks at the establishment started very prematurely... we were let off at 4:30!!! woot woot. only had a couple.. i don't think i like vodka much anymore... =S

occasion: colleague's farewell.

we also had lunch at a nice restaurant. PIZZA!!! i had ate half of mine... but so good. and wine. yummo!

went back to my homey to have dinner with the usuals. asian. lol. hilarious. talking all grown up. and then we went to a dessert bar. and wtf?

how can you have no pearls?????? =(

tiring night. tame. just how i love it.

and today... oh a whim. i woke up and this feeling that i couldn't suppress.

MUST GO TO DFO.

so me and sis went. and i all but maxed out my credit card.

and dont even know what we spent it all on.. well i do.. but its like. wow. there goes $500...

still need new shoes. flats to be precise.

but we got a very very good haul.

a long one.

left the house just after 8 am for IKEA. mm yummy $2.95 breakfast. my sister had two. they gave mums a free muffin and coffee. awesomeness #1.

then we went to check out the coffee tables and random things along the way. we got said coffee table and two baby pink and two baby blue round stools. as well as a awesome quilt for the new lounge. and randomly, a lint brush roller.

of course, you don't go all the way to rhodes just for homebush. you stop by ikea. (edit 10/05/10: i meant "dfo" XD) picked up 2 bras and awesome $5 tops from dotti. mum got a pair of shoes. monkey got some more tops. and got dad a jacket and two polos. awesomeness #2 all round.

came back to hurstville where we shouted mum to cafe lunch at westfield. mums were offered a free slice of cake with their meal. awesomeness #3.

we headed home and timed it so perfectly that we got into the driveway about 20 seconds before dad did. and sat in the car whilst dad took wendie driving.

then it was my turn in the manual. and i finally got the hang of changing gears. and now i can go from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 to *drumroll* ... 5!!! WHICH IS PRETTY MUCH ALL THE GEARS without stalling or revving the engine to hard!! (after getting yelled at a few times of course). AWESOMENESS #4!!!

and by the time driving finished, it was time to go to sunnys for high roller dinner. lobster and salmon sashimi, lobster with noodles, quail, abalone, prawns and then your typical chinese dinner dishes. O____O stuffed. cause there was cake and chinese cookies and sweet soup as well as fruit to finish it off. awesomeness #5.

and ready for bed!

another monday, another week. let's hope its better than the last!

got to take it for a spin back from homebush. it didn't even feel right.

went to dfo for no reason since i didn't get anything. there are just some people you can't shop with... and it was the weekend (huh, something i'm going to have to get use to i suppose...)

funniest thing happened tonight. got so excited about new episode of Bones on TV and i was so convinced that it was a brand new season episode cause i hadn't seen it and cause i was under the impression that i had every episode d/led.

so ironic - funny - coincidental that the episode that i watch on TV just happens to be the one and only episode that wasn't available online. how life works in a funny way.. like i just happened to be in front of the tv tonight and it just happened to be that episode. what were the odds?

my sister got up this morning and decided that she wanted to go somewhere.

and that i was her chaffeur.

we went to IKEA and DFO and then riverwood fish and chips.

the nostalgic feeling for the fish n chip shop has definetely disappeared. it wasn't even that good anymore which was massively disappointing.

i also thought it was amusing that we spent over an hour in IKEA and maanged to spent only $5. hahaha. the hot dog and drink for $2 was the bargain of the day. ^^

DFO: easy parking cause im so awesome (aka, lucky). walked around the crowds. and wendeh bought two pairs of davenport undies. yes, that was all.

came home and she one tree hilled while i napped. dinner. doggie walk.

and then random driving around the area looking for houses with christmas lights. awesomely epic. =D

kingsgrove was awesomest. bevo was disappointing. hursty was so-so.

lol @ me going to DFO again today. biggest mistake ever. rain means more people + weekend = unbearable. parking was a bitch. maneuvering around kids and prams and people was a difficult task and i was not about to line up to try clothes on.

so in the end, got nothing. lol. no idea why i even bothered.

movie tonight with jan. at burwood. random yes.

mao's last dancer. might go and buy the book now. it was better than expected. chinglish and all. =D

opened my eyes. very appropriate in relation to my mood and thoughts. i had a pretty deep conversation with janice (where i - for once - was doing most of the talking!!). just pouring my heart out a little. hahaha. got stuffed at george's cafe. then went to bello's for tea.

and what a massive sale (again). kudos. i was a bit overwhelmed. especially because i had what i wanted in mind. and well, i had to pull myself away from all the awesome sales. and i mean AWESOME sales.

i have to say though - dotti must've realised that they were selling their stuff way cheap, because this time, the prices were a little dearer.

got stuck in a bit of traffic on the way home considering it was peak hour and weather wasn't so good. got home just before the kids (i.e. godbro and co) got here for some massive dinner.

i am so egging stuffed. like.. there was so much food. and lol, good wine never goes to waste. =D =D =D wagyu beef, oysters, prawns, greens, sweet and sour pork, watermelon, ice cream, mooncake, creme caramel.. gawd. it didnt stop.

so i won't be needing to eat over the long weekend. ^^

and all of a sudden, i've got so much to think about. i feel like waiting - but for wat? don't let it pass you~
