and to add salt to the would, when i tried to take it off, i cut myself.
im really sad about it.
i think i'm going to learn to like wednesdays. especially the afternoon part.
we have linda for 3b. and halfway through the lecture, she somehow managed to lose her lecture notes. and haha, she looked so lost without them. she mustve accidentally handed them out when she was distributing the flyers. and we ran out of time too... because the clock in the science theatre is 10 minutes slow.
accounting tutorial. i'm very lucky to have both donna and hector with me here.
you have no idea what kind of moral (and probably mental) support it will be for me.
because i am selfish and conceited and childish.
i am determined to not let it affect me though.
and it really isn't a big deal.
its not

my finger hurts. its actually two little cuts. sort of like having been bitten my two small vampire teeth. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAA

i followed a volvo to uni today. too bad it wasn't the volvo that edward would drive.
and is it cold or wat?
detoured via the petrol station to fill up. $50 with change was fair i reckon. but queuing took ages. so many people wanting to fill up too. good thing i left pretty earlier.
drive to uni was pretty good. there was traffic but the pace kept moving.
and parking was really good too.
i was like
pretty close to the entrance too. which turned out to be good cause it was raining later on.
my legt tutors really cool. really friendly and hes really really passionate about tax. so was our lecturer. looks like its a course that i'm gonna like. =D
didn't even mind that the lecture went for the full three hours plus 5 minutes overtime. who would've guessed tax is so interesting yet hectic?
had to take a detour home cause the m5 was closed. going through brighton takes so much longer. so many more traffic lights and cars. hahaha.
spent awhile printing lecture notes and getting things sorted.
bought my law books.. all $237.60 worth. its so heavy i can't carry it with one hand. that's saying something.
have to wash my hair and im tired. need sleep. early day tomoz.
chocolate for dinner. i started the day with the resolution to start that new diet. and it was going so well until i got home and mum decides for some reason to be pissed at me. (I DON'T KNOW WHY...) so i went on a sugar binge. at least it made me feel better. sort of. and sick. lols.

so friday night. and went to the cross for a 21st birthday party. susan's to be exact.
it sucked.
it sucked.
why you ask?
1. it was at Soho/YU. that in itself, shouldve been reason enough for me not to even think about going. sadly, the good feeling of having just gotten back home from my trip distorted my thinking. and i said i'd go with donna and mandy.
2. there was a target function on the same night. way better crowd, closer to home, wouldve had a better time.
3. i was being judged all night. YAY. the whole gang was there.. some of them sitting on the laps of uber-ugly short guys. HAHAHAHAHAHA please don't make me puke.
so clads found out i was in the cross when i told her i couldnt get to the intersection. and shes like
and im like
because the last time we were there was also for a 21st and it was also at YU. and it was really crap. so we made this promise that we'd never go back there again for a birthday. and i broke it. but now im like:
rofl.
so it turns out i not only made one bad choice, but two.
1. was going to susan's 21st.
2. was not going to the intersection for monica's farewell. =(

WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!
i came in at 10 and that's when it started going OFF. there were queues in soundbar and in layby and at the registers and people were just buying crazy.
so many people who work in childcares today bought in bulk. this lady bought like 7 high chairs and these other people bought multiple baby monitors, change tables, sterilizers, etc. it was like.. OK!!!! buy buy buy cause we need to sell sell sell.
and we had the best costumes as well.
paul was Captain Jack Sparrow .
and martin was darth vader
we had dora the explorer and phantom on the opera and batman and the joker/
it was AWESOME.
and even all the staff were getting into it.
when we had to page people of the PA. it was like
and it was like lol.
and then the joker was saying to batman how he was weak.
and this customer randomly goes
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ROFL.
it was a bit sad that i left at 4... i think i would've liked to stay a little longer just to hang around and enjoy the day. cause you only get this once a year. oh wells. haha it was good while it lasted. and there's probably more to come on the weekend. =)

again, it was hectic today. a million things happening at the same time and i walked into the middle of a crazy bunch of people.
was spling all day. that actually takes lots of time. and so i was inbetween nursery and reception heaps printing off my labels.
and lol, they caught yet another person stealing. and she would not shut up with her fake sobbing. no tears, just lots of moaning and kneeling on her knees and 'sobbing'. and all the managers and staff were cracking up about it in the lunchroom. LOLs. no one felt sorry for her cause it was all an act.
and then around the same time, apparently one of our part timers won 3 numbers and the two supps in last nights ozlotto jackpot. and everyone was like 'NOOOO WAAYYY!!!' dunno how much she got but its definetely better than nothing.
marwah wakes me up around 9 telling me to come in earlier and then val calls and we had a little chat.
and i was saying to donna how my phone batter doesnt last at all anymore
and ROFL
and im like
hahahahaha. wish val would come out with us this fri night. and cherry. we are all such busy people...

funniest day ever. its like i walked into the store while everyone was on crack.
started out pretty normal. everyone was like ur back!! how was ur holiday blah blah.
but not 15 minutes after i started working, marwah n i were walking around the department and the westfield fire alarm goes off.
LOLOLOL. and then our store alarm goes off as well and all of a sudden, the place is surrounded by westfield security. and all the customers just continue as if nothing is wrong.
and we were told to 'get ready to evacuate'.
too bad it didnt happen. was a false alarm. hahahaha but wat a day to come back to.
like it lasted about 20 minutes this whole alarm thing.
and so marwah and i were walking around the store seeing wat was going on.
and she was going to me:
and im just like
'HAHAHAHAHA yeah i know. i am trouble =D'
so after that, i was assembling stuff in nursery. we sell some really really dodgy stuff. the walker was really nice though. disney pooh bear. no im not being partial.
toy sale in two days. YAY

we were on a boeing 767-700 (QF136) from narita to sydney last night. there were 2 flights to australia and another one to cairns and melb. anyhow, we were booked on the earlier flight which ended up being delayed by about an hour (we were guessing it was cause of WYD) which meant the other flight left before us and eventhough the flight was delayed, we still made it back before the others.
there were heaps of japanese schoolies (probably junior highschool) coming to sydney for exchange. made the monkey drool. LOLs i can understand why but they were probably too young for her. they were all really cute though.. all had like a massive suitcase each on rolly wheels and were really excited. and then there were also a bunch of korean primary school kids.. wish i was sitting back with them. HAHA
felt completely jipped eventhough we were on business class. the plane was really old so it meant business class was more like starclass on jetstar. and i mean basics: no skybed, no nice tv screen, and recline was only semi where the person who reclines in front of you means their chair is in ur face!! it was literally old school. hahaha
duty free shopping when we got back. cigarettes and alcohol. lots of it. and all the cabin crew and pilots were doing it too. getting through customs and quarantine today was soooo easy (i have never gotten through so quickly). they didnt even open our bags eventhough we had a suitcase of food.
as soon as i turned my phone back on, get called my target. -_____________-
can't wait to scrapbook and develop photoss.

it's been awhile. and im another year older... that makes it sound like ive disappeared for ages. haha
anyhow, we're now in tokyo which is our last stop for this trip.
i spent most of my birthday on a shinkansen making our way down here. that in itself, is an experience.
we got to tokyo late afternoon and after checking in, we went to akihabara which is japan's largest electronics town. they have everything and anything electrical can think of. the world's largest plasma now stands at 103 inches made by panasonic. in case u cant imagine it, its literally like a cinema and makes u go WOW. and if ur thinking about purchasing it, its a mere 560000 yen. myself, i go for the more affordable. i got this uber-cool looking mouse that matche my eee pc and a new set of headphones to namme a couple. =]
we went to yokohama today. there is a reason that its called the futuristic centre of tokyo. we started from chinatown (had a really good lunch there) and went to the harbour where we went on a short boat ride for mirato mirai (MM21) which is the city's centre. from there, we got on a city loopbus which dropped us off at foreigners street which sold all this expensive overseas stuff.
we went back to asakusa today as well. remembered any of the places we visited. got to try the new subway line connecting our current station to asakusa and shopped. we even passed the hotel we last stayed at. went local for dinner at this korean place a couple of blocks down.

yes i know. its been a while. long enough for me to write something meaningful (i won't) but short enough to still remember home.
so we've actually made it to our second destination: osaka.
we spent the first 4 days in sapporo, which is capital of Hokkaido, the northern end of Japan.
Sapporo was beautiful - cooler, more casual, laidback and in many ways, cheaper. And unknown to us until we acutally got there, the stupid bloody G8 summit was held in sapporo the same few days we were staying. that explains why many of the hotels were booked out, why traffic was chaotic, why there were police at every interaction, snipers/bodyguards on the tops of buildings and two helicopters constantly keeping a lookout for troublemakers' george w. gay was in down.
pfffft. i have pictures of motorcades to prove it. there was this fully sick nissan skyline. black, fully done up that we bumped into in sapporo AND otaru - which is another destination, popular tourist place, from sapporo. they just had to follow MY itinerary cause they couldnt come up with their own..
we made it to osaka yesterday - eventhough our flight was delayed. went to shinsaibashi and tried to shop. but the place gets overcrowded and its hard to walk. same happened today in tennoji cause its saturday. so much stuff going on. im really enjoying my time here so far but i miss home at the same .
one last thing. everything here in japan is sweet. sweet means carbs. carbs means bad.
i feel constipated and overbloated.
but everything is so nice!!! see my problem? ive probably gained like 5 kilos already.
an example of a set meal is udon with a side of a bowl of rice seasoned with mushroom and tofu. like hello, where's the protein?!?
plus all the snacks that they have.. all their red bean and green tea stuff is soooo good. and eventhough im saying no to a lot of things, there are still some that u "have to" try!!! and it all adds up.
so i guess i will just have to try again when i get home.
i was assualted, licked, molested and bitten by deers today. all because i had food for them and they wanted it.. too soon. so much fun though. nara is great.

managed somehow to make it through work. the first 2 hours were so bad.. SLOW. it was like slave labour. lol
then a few things happened that made the morning easier.
martin tried to serve himself with me as the customer. lol
mum and dad came in to buy a cot mattress.
we were marking down odd socks and gloves so i got ari a pair of Bob the builder socks and gloves and a thomas pair of gloves too.
got my coz a really cute baby blanket. baby sesame street characters!!!
got home. and i had to finish the cake. which you can see below.
im pretty happy with it considering.
looks alrite.
he better get emotional and cry. ROFLROFL. thats wat his mum said so i was like, thats okay if he doesn't, we'll just hit him until he does =D =D
feel like taking a nap or something.
just a couple more loose ends i need to tie up.
and i can enjoy the rest of the arvo! and tonight!
YAY!

spiderweb failed
but marble effect works well with my theme.
work was bludgy but really busy.. well i was bludgy and it was really busy. ahha most of us spent half the shift talking about tonight and how we were getting there and when we were getting there since there were no trains. lol
got home, had a shower and changed and had to go to dinner.
where someppl ended up really late. =|
food was so-so. i missed dessert cause i had to meet elena at the station.
we cabbed it to stephs and then to the cross. pretty cheap 60 bucks.
got into YU. line took forever. damn guestlist. good thing it was free.
then we went to the sportsbar for a few drinks. i was a good girl tonight: i only had a vodka lemonade and a champagne. didnt feel like drinking.
went back to YU for janice. it was afterall, her birthday. hahaha
left pretty early. got work and a whole heap of ends to tie up tomorrow.
but a good day. =)

woke up and the builders - rather, knocker downers, were back.. for the whole of 15 minutes. they shook up the place a bit and then decided that no, today wasn't the day to knock the house down. and promptly left. i think it was because it began to sprinkle and weather wasn't too good.
started the morning with a good ol' family debate. its the first time in a really long time that we were all up at the same time and still at home.. so we had a talk about atms, cuecards and exchange rates. went with mum to have a look at a couple of things early this morning before work.
it was markdown madness today. took me all of four hours and then some to mark down girls 1-6. some really cheap stuff mixed in with rat poo. no joke. and the same bloody customer from last night was back about the stupid stroller. and they nicked a part of our display one. got my manager so worked up. and omg. freaking hell, if they had read the instructions, they wouldn't have had to bother us and waste our time. she couldnt even speak english properly for goodness sakes. and she had already come in 3 times last night when i was working. grr.
had to rush home, get changed and go to city to do all this shit.
bought our JR passes.
found a really good FX place. and was on the phone (like one of those people who trade shares all day.. mwahaha) to mum who was almost gonna exchange money at st george for a really crappy rate.
i was like literally:
we got home at like 6 and i had to start making my dear coz's cake. and i only just finished stage 1. *sigh*
im so tired and i ate so freakin many
CARBS

i think im gonna get some sleep now. do some more caking tomorrow, work, dinner, party... i just feel like sleeping through it all.

having been recently addicted to forensic heroes 2, i slept very late last night and got up very early this morning for our aspire day.
drove to uni with val today. got there early and had a coffee.
apart from the fact that i had a shit partner, (i tried to her to lead some of the tasks - not only was she unresponsive, she was quiet and wasnt very positive about the whole thing) the day was great =)
most of the kiddies were very well behaved, a little hypo at times but very enthusiastic. and huffing and puffing when we went up the stairs to the main walkway. LOL
we came back and i swear i did my grocery shopping in like 20 minutes cause i was with val and i was literally just grabbing things off the shelf without thinking about it. and i used a basket and i was buying shitloads of stuff without realising. hahaha
anyway, back to my forensic heroes while val was sleeping.
=D funness.
if anyone says that the third cervical cancer vaccy doesnt hurt: ITS A LIE!
