fuchsia fragments

felt like a bit of a trip down memory lane this week!

helping my sis out with accrual accounting.

WHY WON'T YOU GET IT!?!?!?!

it was hilarious because i totally understand where she is coming from. because when i was doing 1A, i totes didn't do my readings and didn't understand most of the questions...

times may change but accounting theory never will.

and then on thursday night, took the cousin to his new high school for subject selection night.

they have 89 courses to choose from... we didn't even have half that number!

but again, not much has changed. except me thinking the whole night, i so would have picked things differently in hindsight...

my sister's graduation today. and i got to see what had changed and what's stayed the same all these years.

the school itself has changed a bit from new ramps so that the school is wheelchair accessible to new bits in the year 11 and 12 quads. but the feeling of st george is still there when you walk past the drama shed and into the school hall.

the assembly was of st georgian caliber. right down to the music intervals and the speeches by the principal, year adviser and school captain.

i have to say though - ms horley (yr 12 advisor 2009). kudos!! what an awesome speech. it had so many mathematical references.. absolutely hilarious.

and i got to talk to ms voss (english teacher - wendie's and mine) for a bit. i dont think she remembers me fully. but it was really good to see what teachers think of high school and beyond. something that i guess is hard to talk about if you were in a student/teacher relationship only.

so many teachers were the same (maths, english or otherwise). and at the same time, there's a new deputy to place the zuks.

i can't say i was super excited about walking through those school gates again - but i am glad i did. even if it was to pretend i was young again ;)

congrats wendie and whatever u do, i'll always be proud of you. =D

sorting through feathers, ribbons, lace and trim can be fun but rather tedious. so many pretty things i see.

and i rebuilt the two mannequins that obviously the other ppl can't figure out. there were like parts missing originally. -_-" like its pretty simple. reminds me of tarjay mannequins.

nessie was really bad today.

how to discipline?
for the record, she totally demolished one of mum's potted plants. she dragged it to her bed, emptied the soil, chewed through the flower and plastic pot and pretty much made a mess of the balcony.

irritated. but well, i guess its part of the puppy growing up stage.

the monkey had her walkathon at school.

her grade must be like hexed or something. their swimming carival gets cancelled, the walkathon is at school, the imports tried to outdo them at the school dance...

HAHAHAHAHA. high school drama is hilarious.

i added an easter section to wynwyns place.

at work tonight, there was this new girl. her name was angelia. and she for some reason just made me look twice. so i asked my sister about it. and shes like.. yeah. sounds like one of the chocolate vagina sisters. i think it is. but im not 100% certain.

then im readin the yearbook for 2008. im up to the year 9 report.
