fuchsia fragments

it's been a very long thursday that has just flowed through into the night.

we started off with dropping my sister off at school and then heading to the new shop where we proceeded to drag and carry copious amounts of costumes, material and other stock around the new workshop and store space. it was tiring. and there was this kid there. ari's age. talked a hella lot more than my godbrother tho. but he was sick. runny nose. thats why he wasn't at childcare.

came home and we had a really early dinner cause mum had an appointment and monkey had tutoring. and after that, went grocery shopping to get my easter baking stuff.

anyway, by the time that was all good and done, it was time to pick up my sister from tutoring and just as we got in the house, we get called to 'cut the cake' for ari's birthday at his house. so we were there. and we had cake which wasn't that good imo, cause the mango was unripe. and it had a lot of cream. and makes me feel sick for eating so late at night...

im gonna try making hot cross buns next week. =D

i was so so soooo bored at work that i helped nadia with ladieswear returns. i literally had nothing to do after my meagre handful of returns and studying the trolleys out the back that wouldnt fit out.

my dear coz justin came to visit today though. haha no im not that special. he just so happened to be passing by after an appointment with the dentist. so we talked for about 20 mins. good to catch up.

i said to him

Wheres ur mum?

LOL and then i realised shes still in hk with my grandma.

and nadias like

poohbear! u have frends who visit u??

ROFL. just cause she knows like everyone in the centre. hahahaha.

ended up at sunnys for yum cha. u can really tell the financial crisis is hitting cause its a saturday. 1 pm. there are empty tables in the restaurant. its like.. wtf? u ALWAYS have to wait on a saturday... so connected. free tea and drinks. and godbro wat in an exceptional mood today.

so much so that we took him to the park. and he had loads of fun. tried to chat up a girl. LOLOL. hes so cute. he's like

im ari. come here. we play. come here *waves his hand around*.

and the girl mustve been a lil bit older. cause she could speak properly. and her name was ivy. it was soooooo cute. and nice for me to spend some time in the sun. havent sat at the park in months.. and lol some of the asian parents were giving me weirdo looks. NO, IM NOT HIS MOTHER, IM NOT EVEN HIS SISTER.

my godbrother is absolutely adorable as some of you may know. cute lil kid but his brother, (oh dear) is a total maniac. probably has ADHD or ADD. i forget which it is. anyhow, ari ari ari.
...he picked up one of the empty wine bottles and tried to drink out of it.
...he took the net from the fish tank and attempted to catch fish from the tank.
...he tried to play the piano.
...he tried to turn the gas heater on.
...he tried to roll on my gym ball.
...he attempted to read my accting textbook
...he was talkin on the fax machine (that we smartly disconnected prior to him coming)
...he broke dad's amplifier (the really old expensive ones HAHAHA)
...he broke dad's glasses
...he tried (and almost succeeded in) opening a can of coke so we gave him a can of soup instead (the ones where u have to open it with a can opener)
...he ate a whole slice of sesame cheesecake and wanted more.
love the kid. hes grown heaps. less fidgety. still adorable.
