me and monkey went all around sydney to go outlet shopping today. and we didnt even get that much stuff. and i should mention it was an all-expense paid for trip for the wedgepotato. im such a nice sister.
first stop: dfo.
for the first time, i only walked around the centre once. there were lots of things that were potentials but weren't essentials and so might as well save up. i got a pair of jeans cause they were esprit and $22. got dad two nautica polos. two just jeans t-shirts for monkey. 4 pairs of davenport undies. one pair of esprit shorts.
second stop: birkenhead.
massive letdown because they were still renovating. most stores were closed and wasn't much there. the highlight here was the mango smoothie we had. hahaha.
third stop: broadway shopping centre
like wow, another centre that puts westfield to shame. and another target that makes us look soooo bad. this is where one of my ex store managers went to. he's done a really good job. place looks awesome. puts us to shame yet again. not surprised. broadway has awesome shops but imo, its too close to the city and two universities to make it a pleasant, quiet shopping experience. we had lunch at this jap restaurant by the food court called tomodachi. student discount of 10% and lunch specials made it awesome. ive never seen lunch boxes with sashimi, sushi, salad (with awesome corn dressing), chicken, rice, noodle salad AND miso soup for $13. or a udon sushi set with real sashimi sushi for $15. awesome awesome. i applaud. was good food too.
then we went to coles to buy cupcake ingredients so my sister could make cupcakes. hahaha they turned out alrite. bit fugly. lol nah, they were a good attempt.
we picked up mum on the way home. and i walked right into a computer technical emergency. LOL.
then we took the dogs for a walk. and bumped into my coz-in-law who sort of looks like shes about to pop. 3.4 kg baby O_O any day now..
and thats another tuesday and my day off gone. =)
