fuchsia fragments

this morning, i had a trial run for marble cake. i overbaked it cause i used a different sized tin. and i was using a fan forced oven as well. otherwise, flavours were good. decided that pink coloured cake is a little bit too unsuitable for boys. haha it was more like a napoleon cake cause i made tri colours instead of dual.

donna was 'right on time' today. promptly got to my place at one.
then we went to vals and walked around westfield so that donna could see the "renovated" westfield (cause she hadn't been down to the centre in a few years). she got her HP DVDs and cracked a joke to the register lady that

"i wasn't her frend back then so i never got her the other HP DVD"

and the register lady thought it was really funny. -_-

i sort of wanted to stay back. sort of didnt. of course, i ended up staying back. haha love it though. i had a late lunch cause we were down on ppl so we had to take turns. and i was in the lunchrm and mandy comes in for a drink.. and i see this thing crawl across outside. and im like:

and so amandas like hyperventilating and we can hear edy towards the front near the orffice. and mans is like:

get woken up at dawn by the builders next door who are knocking down the house and rebuilding. so i look out the window and there are all these ppl standing on the roof next door!!!
so i got up early.
anyhow
spent the day by myself
i left the house latest. and despite all the places i went to today, i still got home earlier.
roselands. its so easy to spend money.. haha. and i wasnt even in a spending mood. got a few odd items. went to lincraft to look at the scrapbooking stuff.
its so e-x-p-e-n-s-i-v-e!!! and im not too sure if i want a proper album. they're very bulky and formal looking. i want something more casual.
then went to crappy old westfield. got a couple of headbands.
then on a bit of a whim decided to go check out st george aquarium. that place never disappoints.
picked up 2 gouramis and 4 black widow tetras. reasonably priced. =)
whats a kinda funny is that the 'missing' fish have been found.
lol
but more means a bigger, happier, community.
there's a fish skeleton on one of the pieces of wood.. they ate the dead fish. =X
i guess thats what you call an eco-system?

macciatos are yummy.
there are 106 steps on the basser stairs
and ive never seen the commlabs so empty.
hahaha
it was fun though =)
and spent the day with valval.

i spent like 6 hours cleaning the fish tank today.
it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo gross.
and im not saying that its not my fault or completely my fault
but a few fishies were missing.
some pretty notable ones too =(
and i will admit that 3 fish died today because of me.. well the temperature. but me.
and another 3 are missing. =( =(
i feel like replacing them.

it was mc for a gened.. and like.. most ppl were finished before the first 30 mins were up so as soon as it was 9:30, a flood of hands went up. hahaha

work was okay. it got me out of the house for a few hours and so i could get some fresh air. no big hassles

it was supposed to be a not interruptions, study day.
but when i get downstairs theres this package on the table.
so i just had to open it.
my EEE PC!!!!!!!! whoohoooo
so i spent the morning fiddling with it. and borrowed some neighbour's wireless internet. lols. oops.
and let dad play with it as well. its so little and cute and white. =)
linux isnt that bad. and the lil baby's good for net surfing and just word processing. but the graphics aren't half bad either. tried to watch some stuff on it and play a few mp3s. it all works fine. yay

so i had a cold for this holiday monday which meant i went to work and came home and slept for most of the afternoon. so much for studying. although i did finish my notes for my gened course so thats one less thing to worry about at the moment. as if that makes me feel so much better.
i went and bought this huge jar of vitamin c tablets. lol. im becoming a druggie. sucks that i can't eat fruit at the moment. and sucks that there's no sun. i need vitamin d as well!!
exam time means studying. studying means staying home. staying home means in front of computer. in front of computer means procrastinating. *sigh*
i can't believe there are no freggin past papers for econ3121. noooo

it was my day off.. which felt really weird. i slept at 3 in the morning for the 3rd day in a row and woke up at 11. and every other saturday has been me working in the mornings so it felt refreshing but abnormal at the same time.
grandma took a fall yesterday so its got us all worried. cause it was wet on the patio and she slipped and they say shes ok but still...
was a pretty unproductive day for me.
although i did spend big. ROFL
i swear my parents are my biggest influence when it comes to buying things that are majorly expensive.
so today dad and i went to officeworks and we bought a laptop. like an average one to connect to the tv and for basic purposes.
and then at the same time, i was ebaying and i sort of "accidently" bought an Asus EEE-PC. like.. i put in a bid not expecting to win. but i did. i was like.. oh LOL.
so we're welcoming 2 new laptops to our family of pcs and desktops. haha
been installing programs which are a bitch..
im also thinking about getting an ipod shuffle (its supposed to motivate me to go to the gym more) and a 4gb SDHC card for my camera so that i can put the current 4gb card into the eee pc when it arrives.
yayness. and brokeness. literally.

last day of semester ended okay. hard to believe that exam time is upon us again.
work was very slow and boring although i had a ton of visitors today:
mum and my cousin for nursery stuff
godbrother and his mum for a booster seat
amanda to buy her powerball ticket. LOL
went home and got changed and went to steph's place instead of brighton for coffee as a bit of a get together before chu leaves on the weekend. we played cheat/bullshit and i won!!! hahaha so funny. i was like YES!!! =D
and steph made me eat chicken with brocooli and beans and carrot. and i didnt eat the carrot cause it was high in carbs. and the boys were just like *rolls eyes* wtf. haha
itinerary-ing takes a long time. back to it.

as much as i love the rain and know its doing our dams wondergood, i'm getting tired of it. especially on uni days. its wet (nah DUH) and gloomy and cold and WET!
anyhow, looks like were again on base wages. cause we're not making budget. cause people are not buying.
soo.. im acutally okay with it cause im kind of busy in june. exams and all.
and *scoffs* serves her right for hiring so many crap people all at once. i warned her. bahahaha watever.
and theres this new trainee (who is working hahaha, under my manager which equals major dumbness). shes like 17 or 18. super dumb. year 10 drop out. not bright. superficial. brainless. personality less. i have no respect for ppl like that. YAY

caffeine withdrawal is beginning to hit. i think im gonna need to buy some fresh cream to make my coffee. green tea and black tea is beginning to get boring especially when you have about 6 cups of it a day...
sweet cravings are also really hard. but just because i can't drink the wine doesn't mean i can't appreciate the bouquet of roses.

im also feeling kind of lethargic BUT i believe thats got more to do with myself being extremely lazy and blaming the 'gloomy weather' for skipping my gym sessions. its been a week and a half now. and i know my monthly is coming soon which means i will use it as an excuse to not go. and then exams. and bam. it'll be july. wasting money. =X
shouldve taken up the chance to go to work instead of uni today. i totally wasted my time. and lost money.

so i was working all day. and i was meeting mum and dad for lunch at the saigon.
and walk into the restaurant.
we were just in the corner in the door. and for some reason i looked across to the other side.
and there were rach and carl.
i just looked at them, waved and rolled my eyes.

i had a protein shake this morning.
and egg and cheese omlette for dinner. with broccoli and pumpkin which are low in carbs.
oh and a sugarfree chocolate bar. expensive shiat.
loads of tea and water.
and i am going to try cutting caffeine while im at it. lol fat chance eh? (hahaha 'fat' tats so ironic.)
