and the betting included my lil 3 and 5 yr old nephews. HAHAHAHA that was so fun. when they ran out of money, we just gave them more. what a thing to teach ur kids. but dad was playing mahjong and mum was playing with us all. so its ok.
and the little one doesnt stop eating. and he was finishing off a bag of shrimp crackers when he pulls up his jumper and goes
and his gorgor screams really loudly

1. i bought my first lotto ticket in hk - and i broke even (i.e. i got three numbers and "won" my $20 back)
2. We spent $100 on those skill tester games at ocean park and we won 6 plushies (its ok monkey, two are or you).
3. i think i got minor food poisoning last night from crab roe sushi.
4. i would never even consider driving in hk. its life threatening, dangerous and sure to take some years off your life.
5. why do they call it winter here when the temperature's sometimes the same as sydney?
6. i absolutely abhor people who push in in front of you and think they're all that.
7. mainlanders need to learn that when a sign says for example "do not stand on the window platform", it does NOT mean 'oh, that would make a lovely photo, let's stand on the window platform and take a picture'. LEARN TO READ.
8. i fed sea lions yesterday. i have to say, i think scout is smarter. at least he knows how to jump for his food. the sea lions just waited till it was near them. tsk tsk.

we spent a night at The Westin Macau which was the only 5-star hotel and resort that didn't have a casino attached to it. super awesome room. massive bed with 4 pillows!!! YAY!! although i still think home is better.

I should probably be blogging more than i am. In fact, January will probably have a very low number of posts because i am lazy and i cannot be bothered to post. In addition to that, i am not at home and it can sometimes be rather inconvenient to access the internet- especially when i have to leech off someone else's.
Having said that, i am having a rather ordinary time in Hong Kong. That is, i have not visited anywhere exceedingly special nor have i eaten anything extraordinarily yummy nor have i done some uber-awesome shopping. We decided to go local today and walked around the TM Shopping Complex. I would consider today's purchases as ordinary or normal. So no, Monkey, you don't have to be jealous. *innocent smile*
They have way too many choices at their so-called fast food restaurants. Wicked prices too.
I hope i get to go Yum Cha tomorrow. I haven't been all that many times yet and i want to eat buns. =D
I'm going to sleep exceedingly early these days and eating way too much. =( How can people in HK have breakfast, lunch, "high" tea (or supper) AND dinner in a day?
I need to go to Mum-ATM and try to withdraw some more money. The machine only works every now and then. *sigh*

survived living in tsim tsa tsui for the first week of my stay despite throwing up and getting food poisoning (as per usual when arriving in hk). daddy and monkey left this morning on an extremely early flight that was overbooked. poor babies didn't get onto business class. they were uber lucky to get a seat at all cause it was that packed.
