i show up to say hi to people and they put me to work immediately. lols.

but thats a good thing. so many changes are occuring. the not so good changes..

and this whole new not offering free plastic bags thing.. man - customers can be so irate about it. like.. get a disposable one. its 10 cents. problem solved.

had a lot of fun dressing my mannequins today. plus closing. and ad. and cages. i was just.. on a role. two massive visits coming up. i think the hardgds people are staying till midnight. lol.

and since when did my job description include cleaning? like scrubbing with a cloth and jif? O_O.

all the sales look so good. but im just not tempted. is the GFC in my subconsciousness that its stopping me from spending?

the global crisis can be felt... at target. and the shopping centre in general. hahaha there weren't very many customers. and i spend an easy morning relaying nursery. its fun when u have a trainee manager whos kinda ditzy and dumb egging u on. trading jibes full of sarcasm all morning. yay. lols

had this debate with dad today about the growing financial crisis. and he was saying how globalisation was never gonna work. that it was never possible. etc etc. and im like.. well thanks dad, all the economics i've learnt - especially in the last two years and more precisely, the two globalisation courses i took last semester must have been for nothing. LOL. obviously i disagreed.

i finally found the time, the motivation, whatever was in me to catch up on readings. it makes me feel good. i hope this momentum continues.
