i had the morning shift today.. felt kind of weird/out of place cause it was mainly all the older people.. no youngems to bum with and whatever. oh cept luke cause he lives there.. and apparently i do too now. hahaha
so LP caught this woman with a kid and stroller shoplifting.. called the cops and everything. drama drama.. my manager had to act as translator and apprently she was like begging for us not to call the cops of something. sif man.. if we dont call the cops, its a message to them that they can come back and steal more.

i bought a top today from portmans. damn it, having cheap racks out the front really does work -__- i should know better eh, since i work in a store that does that too. *sigh*

apparently coles was closed for a bit today. hahaha and they had to get rid of all their perishable goods.. imagine the write off and the losses..
i got three paper cuts at work today. =(
and during break soundbar ppl and their oh-so-funny manager were cracking pooh jokes. and i was like...

anyhow, turns out coles' dock was on fire (and the bus stop too) and since we're directly above them (and we share the dock almost), the smoke went to our store.
the lights were already flickering on and off for like 10 mins.. and we were like wtf .. then power blows.. and we're in complete darkness (my manager has already gone mad by this stage LOL). and shes STILL telling me to put out stock. hahaha.
so we were at the back of the store.. near the dock.. and we're like 'u can smell burning plastic can't you?' and then we're told to evacuate.. so we stood outside the store for like 20 mins.. had a roll call. haha that was funny.. (fun?). the 5:30 leavers got to go home.. nightfill at that stage was still on.. so we had to go downstairs and outside.. sat there for another 20-30 minutes.. and then told we could go home. so walked home.. and had to go around cause we were on the other side.. got to see the commotion near the dock. all da coles ppl were there and police and brigade. so obviously they were still trying to get it under control
we were cracking jokes about how ppl dont care eventhough it was THE REAL DEAL. like they were still shopping and strolling around the centre. like you freakin bakas.. espeically cause during all this time, the WHOLE time.. the alert siren was still going off. yes, we had to listen to it for like an hour.
oh the woes.. we couldnt even close the roller doors to the store, have all our phones and stuff all over the place. my rf!!! my manager was like you cleared the screen right? and im like yep! and shes like good girl *high 5* =D wont have to redo it tomorrow *fingers crossed* cant say nothing happens when im not at work no more =D we better get paid for it.

i now have a calendar! =D its pretty straight forward

had this bitch of a customer who was like 'i want 20% off' eventhough there was no freakin sign. and she goes on about misleading advertising and blah blah and its like. wtf. dude, read the signs so u dont look like an idiot. and then shes like call ur manager and blah blah blah
i had 3 crispy strips for dinner.. actually.. i had about 1 cripsy strip in the end.. cause i picked off all the batter and what not.. and haha yeah.. that was uh, fun? michael was like wtf. hahaha and then he tried to convince me that carbs were good. lol
oh and i gave scout a bath.. and the little bugger then ran off and got all dirty again.. too many dogs surrounding us.. literally all three fences there are [female] dogs.

i am at the moment too lazy to incorporate a calendar into my blog so this for the time being, will have to do. i'll keep updating as i check my roster. this is primarily for those who (complain) say that they are unsure when im available and what not. =)

ive been craving a do nothing and just sit here day for so long. and it finally arrived.. i couldnt sit still. i ended up walking to westfield and back for no apparent reason. i took scout for an hour walk (we made it as far as kingsway). i even tried playing computer games. no such luck. so wat did i do?
i baked a really really nice loaf of bread (omg the CARBS) and i ATE (yes, i ATE) a slice of it.. it was really good too. why? cause resetting ur metabolism on a no carb diet is sooooooooo bloody hard. so im gonna try something new tomorrow.. so today was like a eat carb cause it doesnt count day haha. so i had a mango too =D ahh.. life's little luxuries.
im still debating whether i should chuck a christmas party.. like.. everyones 'working' and what not.. it'll be really hard to find a suitable day and time, etc. any suggestions, give them to me. cause i know it'll be nice for everyone to 'meet up and mingle' so to speak.. at this rate i highly highly doubt it can happen. =X no weekends either (i assume) which leaves weekdays.. and i know more than one person has a 9-5 schedule.

had to sort of drag my ass out of bed cause i was so tired.
anyhow, dietagging took almost the whole of my shift.. so kids was trashed and a half.
almost at 1 two of the girls collapsed one of my modules!! and so had to go see what happened. and hahaha we had like 6 ppl standing there going.. hmm.. its stuffed.. and then james walks by.. and hes like 'wats going on?' so were like th module collapsed and were trying to put it back together.. and we're all just standing there going.. wtf do we do know.. lol. and hes like.. 'hm.. i built the thing' so we're like.. 'well then fix it!' and hes like 'but i had instructions when i built it..' and hahaha one of the girls was like 'oh bloody great. we have a manager here and 6 staff and we cant fix a module.' so we were just cracking jokes.. lol. matty got it fixed tho.. smart kiddo. hahaha and we were all doubting if he knew what he was doing.

10 hour shift. man.. i was in ladies wear for the better half of the day.. im such a good closer =D nadia loves me hahaha. she was like i should be in womens permanently. uh uh. no way.
bumped into jen who finished her exams today. she was using the bag we got her!!! looks good on her too!!!
hm.. oh yeah. omg.. shrink wrapping cosmetics is the BEST JOB. so much fun. then sort of stayed in tcf.. fucking 6 cages and 5 shopping trolleys. i was like.. laura u bitch, ur the one who told me to tell wayne tat i would b staying back until 11 (i was supposed to leave at 9).. now im stuck at tcf -____- *think of the money think of the money*
5 days next week. woot.
oh and im not rostered on weekends no more cause i am too expensive. makes sense. lol.

anyhow, i ended up at the gym. damn post end of hsc junkies. pretty packed.. i think im gonna get up earlier again. i dont waste my day as such doing so.
today was a shop for well, myself day. i got my much wanted gym ball =D and footless tights so that was okay. then i walked around myer a few times deciding if i wanted to get some stuff.. i decided against it.
i have two really good offers from my two favourite brands.. i probably cant afford to go to both so now i have a dilemma.. cr or esprit? i guess i'll go to both and see which one has better stuff.. price wise and style wise. but im probably likely to get something from either one.
and im so depressed that i dont get to work tonight.. its my first thurs night (exclusing the time off one i took last week) in yonks and yonks!! and ahhaha it was funny, cause at 5:15 target calls. and im like.. theyre so gonna call me into work.. but it was for tomorrow -_- but all good i guess. LOL poor laura.. kids and nursery.. haha all to herself. and two huge sales. funny sht.

i havent had the department to myself in ages. (does not include morning weekends) so it felt weird. a little bit overwhelming at first since i had to do full closing in less than 4 hours and take care of nursery but managed.. progressively. and again, i stress that customers are pigs.
and ben and pip thought it was so much fun scaring me today.. just before we closed, pip was doing nightfill so he comes in from school. and im like closing.. and he sneaks up behind me and screams in my ear. and i literally jump. hahaha it was funny but it was freakin slack!! plus there were still customers in the store.. so im gonna get him back one day. and ben was like 'they must be pretty desperate to call u in'. lol in some ways, i guess they were.. cause ppl r on holidays.
oh yeah, we got 'ufo lighting' so the store entrance is heaps bright and .. bright now. looks a bit different. more modern, fresh.

by the time i had a minute to myself last night.. it was already 1 am. and then i was too tired to care.
i went to the gym yesterday =D felt so good aftawards. then had to go check my roster.. and i pick the best times... place was swarming with westfield security and all our managers were there.. LP room was opened.. think they caught someone stealing a massive amount of stuff. apparently the police were called in too.
so whilst there, i bumped into jess.. so we bummed awhile in westfield.
oh did i mention that before this, i went to three. and well, basically, i got a new phone. the 6280 cause i sold my v3x. quite happy about that.
then i went to roselands simply cause i was bored with westfield.. and gosh, their target is massive.. hahaha myer too.. westfield's such a hole =( but thats probably the only good places at centro. maybe coles as well.. but theyre similar. roselands needs something to amp up the atmosphere.. it seems too isolated, quiet, dead, empty.
so then i get home and it like 4 already.. oh i got cheap boxer shorts =D but i seriously couldnt shop shop.. its cause i know that i shouldnt be.. and i get an exclusive invite from myer special one night only thing.. and its freakin on tuesday.. and i have an exam on wednesday =( =( =( =( =( so even if i went i'd be like.. no sum cheng.
i cant drink milk so i had to make tea with cream.. it actually tastes better =D. funny isnt it.. cant have milk but can have cream.
oh and sugar free chocolate has my two thumbs UP! its actually pretty good. hella expensive though.

and last night was my first day back at work in a week. it felt like i hadnt been there for 3 months. my manager got promoted to the next level.. and she was in such bitchy mood yesterday =( i think cause she was stressed cause we had to condense our modules to make way for more christmas stuff. but she took it out on us which was a little unfair.. but its forgiven.. cause shes not usually like that.. (i hope) and she better not b a bitch just cause shes higher up now. hahaha
more errands to run today.. and then work again. the rosters have changed so much.. new ppl (just not our department) and ppl switching departments.. and cutting shifts cause budgets missed in general. hmmm. should pick up for christmas though.

i think i like the tea house more than i do the squarehouse.
anyhow, afta accounting today, we ie, the original exam family went to country road.. where i got my sister's christmas present. arent i the loving and kind older sister? awww. donna got a yellow tote. haha after much deliberation.
then they went for happy hour food at the food court. haha no sufar free chocolate in sight =( =(
my room is so nice and clean again =D and smells nice too.. vanilla!! =D
however, i do have a headache from today in general.. preparing for a cold day tomorrow.

it was a 1:45 start. our start time: 2.30 PM.
2 exams in one room. outcome: people sitting in the wrong place. people in the wrong room. people in the wrong exam (?!?!). supervisors lost.
materials allowed: one said bring ur own calculators. the other said no calculators. they had to call and check to confirm.
its pathetic and absolutely ridiculous that a 2 hour plus 10 reading exam turns into a over 3 hour sitting. literally cause we didnt get out till 10 to 5. why? cause some certain "fat stomached" supervisors cannot count.
did i mention the clock was broken? oh and they kept talking over reading time. we had no answer sheets. the phone for the supervisor kept ringing. their 'whispering' was freakin as loud as talking in general. they couldnt even give us water. they were slow. their instructions were poor.. etc etc.
it was soooo windy when we got out.. donna called.. and i was like in a faraway voice.. telling her i only just got out and stuff. felt like someone pushed me all the way home too.

i tried to take a powernap around 5.. i ended up sleeping for 45 mins.. and when i woke up afta, i was even more lethargic than before.. plus the weathers all stuffy and making me headachy and unable to concentrate.
whilst my parents were dumping all the trash for the biannual council collections, apparently, the little bad dog of mine went for a walk around the blocks a few times by himself.. only to return home when he was too tired. its cute but tats really bad of him! he coulda been hurt or run over or kidnapped. but im glad to know that he does know his way home.. i guess all the dog walking around my side of h'ville has taught he a few things. hahaha
from tomorrow, i have decided to change my eating plan. absolutely no carbs... *waves goodbye to the watermelon and mangoes* so sad. but we'll see how we go. carbs is now my enemy.

(and he literally chucked my id card back on my table in my way.. bastard). second time, he comes to closely examine our rulers.... like okay.. and then third time, he comes and picks up my calculator and starts looking all over for marks.. and opening the cover and all this shit.. im like... is tat really necessary?!

im making up to do and to buy lists... another means of distraction. damn u cosmo and pretty dresses. and online catalogues.

then we went to aunts place on way home.. and on her street.. it was raining.. and there were these two red p platers drag racing (NO JOKE) and i was turning from roundabout into the street.. and one of the suddenly does donuts and starts fuckin spinning all over the place.. and i was like.. wtf.. and these cars were behind me too.. so then i was like.. fuckin retards.. couldve hit me and there were parked cars on both sides.. and they just basically blocked the road.. fags.
so when we left.. couldnt start car cause battery was dead. so i was like... fuck this. im going to kill dad cause I TOLD HIM. even my aunt was like 'yep, you have my permission to scream at ur dad' (ie, her brother). HAHAHAAH and im like.. 'hell yeah' so that was all retarded and basically, it was the last straw for today. too much shit.
i think i need to release pent up stress before i can really sit down. plus its freezing and my sister stole my baby blanket. did i mention it feels like saturday/holidays? THIS IS NOT GOOD.

so i was called in early.
helped sara relay all of babies.. so our back walls look soooo pretty now. then it was nursery clean clean clean cause of the sale tomorrow. then took down the ad and put up new one.
on my break.. i was looking for eucalyptus drops cause my throat was killing me.. and i was like.. wtf.. no one has eucalpytus drops!! ah!!! so i had to go to coles and get freakin honey and eucalyptus ones that had sugar in it. damn it.. and they werent the ones i wanted either. then i went upstairs.. and bumped into pip who was starting at 6. the boy had two pides.. but they were cheap 3 bucks each.
as expected, we had heaps of NFers tonight.. place was swarming with ppl. mainly in hardgoods. but in softgoods we had like 4 people.. which is double the usual numbers. relaying bras and undies.. had to end up helping them for the last hour cause we were so screwed. anyway, SO SO SOOOOOO glad im not working tomorrow.. cause i think we're not gonna have some v happy managers.. but it wasnt exactly anyones fault. so yeah.. thats just stuffed.
and now im just too tired to care.. oh.. my earrings arrived in the mail today =)
my throats sore.. and i think its cause of sara.. -_____- coughing hurts, laughing hurts, im loosing my voice and they all thought it was funny.
oh yeah.. and by the end of the night, every second word coming out of our mouths was 'fucking' and 'shit' cause we were THAT SCREWED. the module was about to collapse on us.

i woke up every hour until 9 this morning.. and it was restless sleep. which meant i dreamt.. and remembered what i dreamt about. cause i dont usually dream.
anyhow, quite a boring day.
oh yeah.. i was walking to work.. and i get to the library and it starts raining. so im like 'oh shit' and it doesnt stop.. so i come to work and my shirts like damp.. and hahaha.. that was fun and funny. quick drying material though so all's good. didnt look like an idiot on the floor.
storewide sale still going so quite a few customers. managed to get everything nice and clean though =) martin left today.. he was walking around saying bye to everyone. which was sad.. now whos gonna make lame jokes and laugh at themself??
oh.. and i got a missed call from work at 7 (found out afterwards) and they called my home...?!?! and mum was like wtf? shes at work.. why are you calling her? LOL girl at reception apparently didnt know i was working tonight.. -___- and yeah.. it was about tomorrows nightfill.. gonna be huge. theyre trying to call everyone they can get to come in i think. so it's rumoured. so i have 3 different managers asking me if im working tomorrow night. and im like yes!! i am!!! and im coming in earlier cause my manager said so!!

anyway, we went to peter alexander.. and then marketct.. i was like.. i dont really want anything do i? well, when donna was shopping it was me accompanying her so i didnt get anything.. then she had to go back to uni and there was no other voice telling me what to do.. and then it all happened.
i went back to marketct.. and i was like.. its not like i want to buy anything..
