fuchsia fragments

taking my time.. im like half trying on clothes as i pack. hahaha anyhow, im travelling pretty light i think. with the thought of 'if i forget anything, then i will simply buy it there'. hahaha
anyhow, it still hasnt sunken in. it still feels like a 'today was the last day of exams and we went shopping afterwards' not a 'tomorrow im going overseas' feeling. if that makes sense
hotpot was haha well, lets just say, i can't believe some people could eat so MUCH n still be like.. u know, i can do with another plate of lamb. talk about bottomless stomachs. machines!!

to celebrate the end of exams, rach and i headed to parramatta for a shopping expedition. =) i found westfield parramatta kind of cluttered and not so well organised although it was well, huge, in a word. basically, i prefer the likes of bondi. i dont know, mayb cause it was too far west for me.
anyhow, so we spent a few aimless hours walking up and down and up and down the place. had coffee at delifrance and drove through peak hour traffic which wasn't so bad back. and here i am with 90 mins to spare until we go hotpotting. oh fun. its funny cause now im 'waiting' to go out again. sort of and no, im not packing.. yet. just can't.

i sort of skimmed through some of my old posts. and looking back, ive sort of 'come a long way' or changed quite a bit. obviously all gradual but noticeable nonetheless.

i got more parcels in the post today =D
love receiving things by mail. even if they're expected.
and thats it, no more ebaying for me.. at least not for a while
i finally got a hoodie i wanted although its not a fleecy one. but its ralph and its pink =D

went to our lil ari's place for hot pot. and his mum was telling us how he went to childcare today. and this lil girl (emily, i believe) was like really excited to see him so she ran up to ari and was lil 'ari!!!' really happily. and my godbrother prompty slapped her on the face. poor lil girl.. and she didn't cry. she just had her hands covering her face. he's got a bit of a temper this godbrother mine. but we still love him. he was really happy today which has been a positive change cause poor lil fella's been sick for the past few days. and then he pooped and became a walking stinkbomb. lol
i woke up today with heaps of pain in my neck and back. so i took it as an excuse to not to go the gym (which i will beat myself up about) and lounging in my jammies all day.
looks like we might be flying out sooner than expected.

we have a crystal clear aquarium again! all thanks to yours truly
i spent all of this afternoon cleaning the fisk tank.. the colour of the water was literally grey-green on the bottom. but all that elbow greasing has paid off. =) currently, its just a planted aquarium with one poor unfortunate soul. hahaha there's a dwarf gourami in it cause its not wanted anywhere else. plan to add a couple more smaller plants and lots and lots of colour fish and it'll be perfect.
in saying so, my opinion of one aquarium/fish shop has gone completely down whilst another one has come right up. and its close to home too. im pretty impressed at the range they have in a smaller store.. on forest road =) so yes, i'm staying local.. really local for my aquatic needs.. except i do also like the aquarium in kogarah for a wider range of fish.
anyhow, my head hurts now.

haha its random but it just popped into my head for no reason.
apparently assignments have been returned/graded but i dont see any grades. a comment yes, but no mark. apparently my tutor was still not that impressed. makes me really unhappy cause i was the one who tried and tried in the end =( and shes one of those, im a really nice and friendly person but i actually mark you guys really tough. *tears*
and that's why i hate group work.

these little things are so so soooo good. they're the new lifesavers of the 21st century. and now they come in mini boxes!! =D

so here i am, sitting at my desk, in the sun with my UNOPENED micro textbook in front of me. so i venture (as per usual) online and decide to revamp my blog; which as u may know, takes a lot of TIME. time that shouldnt be spent revamping, that's 'wasted' and for seen now as unproductive. not that that's ever going to stop me.
so here it is, my untimely revamp. i quite like it. needs some more work. damn columns and the padding took me ages so im not going to add any more today. at least not now anyway. i might think about changing other stuff later. i'm mostly satisfied with it atm.

i think my blog is feelng a little bit neglected. i certainly havent been paying it much attention.
another exam in the upper tea house, and i was sitting in the next row, one seat down from where i sat on monday. in the very least, i wasn't sitting in the corner, right at the back. one of the supervisors made a comment 'its funny and rather tragic when we recognise u lot from other exams'. haha i thought that was kinda sweet yet funny.
anyhow, i convinced mum to go to myer with me after dinner.. it was actually kind of busy for a random wednesday night. well stocktake sale and all.. wasn't really much that was a good buy but got the cutest underwear =D i wanted to find the matching coords but they were in the wrong size which was really depressing. oh well
today was my last pay day for a month. i dunno how im gonna survive with no income for at least 4 weeks.

i am about to scream for a number of reasons.
but none of which i will specify atm and im sure none of which i'd be able to remember this time tomorrow
need to stop buying things online.

nadias farewell party.. in her room. fyi, her room is massive with her own fridge and balcony so yeah it was pretty cool. and i was a very good girl.. i had two n a half drinks max. and i didnt leave that late.. midnightish. and hahahaha new stuff to blackmail laura with =D i love that girl.
oh and i absolutely love the way my family does inpromptu mini get togethers and what not. another hot pot gathering.. ah well.. i got the best of both worlds. had hot pot.. got warmed up and then went drinking =)
now i need to focus.

last thurs night.. and laura called in sick on me!!! im gonna strangle her!! hahahahaha made her feel so guilty afterwards. =D
anyhow, i thought it was pretty quiet for a thurs night. others beg to differ so im wondering if it was just me and the whole its-my-last-shift-for-a-month effect. maybe.
if it gets any colder i wont be able to write any longer.

the last two mins of State of origin was shocking.. absolutely depressing =(

looks out window and cant help but notice my calendar... its so prettyful and colour coordinated. does opening my textbook count as work? *sigh* i didn't think so either.

im actually quite depressed that i didnt get the refit shift but a normal NF. simple reason being that it was a really good bunch tonight. best night shift ive had in months literally. even with all the teasing and being hit in the HEAD by a BALL. and punched and kicked.. it was fun while it lasted.
we take items out of packaging and boxes for customers to see and wat do they do? they ask for one in a box. we leave items in boxes and what happens? they open them up. we can't win.
ive procrastinated yet another day.
two more days of work only!!

means yumcha with godbrother where everyone else has to wait for seats but we just walk right in (go connections)
means two n half time pay but cheap 3 hour shift
means tons of ppl in the centre
means i watched Shrek the Third with the monkey and contrary to popular reviews, it was alright but lacking. some of the jokes were good others not so great

im thirsty.

never want to see baby socks again. but ohhh so pretttyy. started at 8:30 this morning and got a bit delirious towards the end.. not really.. more like tired and sleepy but ah, u get the gist.

no major incidents today.. im rather tempted to not bother with the 3 hr shift tmorrow but sara will kill me.. and well good money i guess.

i battled the cold and the rain and the wind to go to uni for a total of 1 hour 15 mins. wow
i bumped into jessika on the bus and we had lunch afterwards. different but nice =) bought a pair of shoes and this dress from sportsgirl *sigh* how am i supposed to save for my trip??
i parked my car in westfield this morning.. and hahaha the security guy there was like 'slow down... do u have a staff permit?' and giving me the who-are-you-to-be parking-here look. and im like yup! *smile* and hand over my pass. and he's like.. oh ok go ahead. HAHAHA rocked. =D ah well i felt sorry for him though.. poor guy has to stand there in the cold..
its always my luck to catch slow trains back. but it was good cause i was able to hear the second side (as every story has one) from jess about some things.. but whatever her views, i make judgements of ppl by myself.. but well, who wouldve knew.....?

what the fuck is a "team talk" AFTER work. when we dont get paid for it. we're not obliged to stay. fucked up managers. and they threatened that if we 'didnt do a proper closing' theyd make us stay until midnight.. AS IF YOU HAVE THAT RIGHT. so not happy at the moment. reenforces my desire to cut back to 1-2 days after my lil holiday. so glad im going in a week. had enough.
and the new floorboards.. fuck man.. retarded. not even wooden and it looks like such a dodgy job.. like man.. so bad. bad day all round. stupid customers. ignorant customers. demanding customers. inconsiderate customers. etc etc. i didnt even get a chance to catch my breath tonight it was just closing closing nursery calls calls registers on and on.
cause of the stupid talk i didnt get a chance to buy my shoes. fags

three things i learnt today:
1. whilst shopping, purchasing the first item actually triggers a mental note to browse other shops (that you may not consider browsing) and finding other [potential] purchases
2. don't shop when its raining; due to cancelled athletics carnival and parents with prams, its pretty much a nightmare
3. the harder you look for something, the more likely you won't find it.

short lecture followed by a pointless tutorial. i stayed nonetheless.
went for a walk from marketcity to pitt st and back again. i bought a pretty top and three rings cause they were cheap. hahaha (wat a waste of money says her consciousness). theyre like space fillers for my new jewellery box.
we hotpotted tonight cause it was so cold. tofu's actually pretty good and versatile stuff. (random i know).
anyhow, the reason why i had so much time to waste in the city was cause i had to meet mum after she finished work and i skipped fins. anyhow, we confirmed the details for our lil japan tour. =)

it should be all interconnected if all goes well and if we decide not to stop for a night.
their original plan was. sydney to tokyo with either an interconnection itm flight to osako or other transport to osako with a one night stopover in tokyo/narita. im sure u can tel i love flying. haha syd to cairns straight up wouldve been better i suppose but this ones the best bet.

they made me eat pizza for dinner during our break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and my stroller wall is soooo b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l as it shoudl be cause i cut three fingers working on it. assembled heaps and heaps of strollers and prams. its kinda fun =D v satisfying to see the end result.

went home during my break. it actually makes time pass by slower.. cause i got to go home for half an hour and then went back for another half hour and it almost seems like 2 one hours instead. if that makes sense O_o

"lose it before you're 20."

Ingredients:
4 C self-raising flour
1 1/2 C sugar
250 g Copha, melted
4 eggs
2 t baking powder
5-6 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 C walnuts, chopped (optional)
1-2 t cinnamon/nutmeg (optional)


Method:
1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees.
2. Cream sugar and Copha.
3. Sift in flour and baking powder (and
cinnamon/nutmeg).
4. Add mashed bananas.
5. Stir in nuts.
6. Pour into greased tin.
7. Bake for 75 mins or until skewer comes out
clean.

i had (thank goodness its all over) very ungrateful team members. they were still bitching and moaning when it was all handed in. even when i included all the references. an appendix. wrote the whole thing by myself. added their conclusion and therefore had to cut back on more words in the body of the report. and still they were like oh but it couldve been better (um yeah.. i dont see u doing any extra work to make it 'better') and shit like tat.
ive now been to the gym at all times of day.. early morning, morning, noon, afternoon and evening. and there are different sort of ppl there. early morning are the ppl who have work, morning is the mums with bubs and kids, noon and afternoon and the bodybuilders and guys who work out and evening is all the ppl who come after work. so intersting.. the atmosphere just feels really different when u go at a different time. anyhow enough about that. badminton was on (even after a communication breakdown). carl managed to hit valval behind her neck when they were on the SAME side (LOL).
they were saying at work how apparently in s'goods there are gonna be three new people. and we were just discussing whether this is actually necesssary. and we think definetely a 'NO'. as it is (bar the refit) we're each gettering approx three 4-hour shifts a week. and that's ok. but with three new ppl, even if they each started with one shift, we'd have to give up one of ours. not cool. the only times when we do need an extra person is when one of us are unavailable.. so it woudlve been better if we got like one extra person.. well kids def dont need an extra person especially when laura starts doing sats again. ladies and mens maybe. we'll see wat happens. its not a big issue.. im gonna cut back next sem. found a better place =)
oh and i went shopping with mummy yesterday arvo and i managed to buy something. so it really just depends on the mood when u shop. no motivatin on my own.. no target, no aim. but with mum (and i offered to pay for it but she was like no its) cause i was sort of accompanying her as well made it all different. and i realise i need a new pair of shoes for work. there are holes in mine and a huge break in the sole. ahahhahaha
