had the house pretty much to ourself (sister and i) for the first time these holidays!! but well, we didnt do anything bad.. but well, the possibilities were endless.
watched mr and mrs smith in the arvo cause we were bored.. and haha .. i love that movie =D =D and we need a bigger tv.. we have everything else but the screen is too small. nice plasma or flatscreen or even a projector will do very nicely. have the speakers.. surround sound, subwoofers.. blah blah.. comfy seats... but small screen =( oh wells not deperate soo can live without.
sister went to cut her hair today.. doesnt look much different to me. but well, hmmm.. ahh yes and i bought a pair of earrings from michael hill.. pity its not for me. birthday pressie for mary since shes having a party next week.. so broke =(

(Youth Group - Forever Young)
went for a swim this morning.. pretty good this morning.. not too many people, water was a bit warm though. but okay in general. pretty much had a lane to myself.. for a lot of the time anyway.
arvo went to vals place to drop off her stuff.. her new computer.. mail.. watever. haha her house is a mess atm.. she has nowhere to sleep. and her doggy peed on some of their clothes.. =X funny tho.
oh yea.. and i sorta died my hair again.. *cough*..

this morning was about visit other people and wishing them a prosperous new year and all that.
arvo.. there was mahjong and we went to andrews place for some ass kicking on the xbox and gamecube. man.. halo 2 sucks .. more like i suck at it.. but well i managed a good couple of kills. and mario tennis is soooo kawaii.. doubles with justin.. woot we kicked ass =D
dinner at grandmas again.. yay got a red pocket.. and we were joking about how we should ask samuel cause hes married now. lol but then we figured he would b really cheap and gives us like 5 cents or something. had a bit of psp playtime.
and everyone was crowding around the tv to watch the cypriot dude and feddy.. haha its so funny when u have a whole bunch of people.. cause there are the randomest comments and yeah.. absolutely hilarious. funny funny. but we scattered early today cause most ppl have to work tomorrow.

another hot hot day and slept in a little.. but was woken by hammering and drilling.
we got [another] satellite dish installed, this time a bigger one that accomodates hundreds of channels. why you ask, i really dont know.. nor am i particularly interested. guess it gives me more channels to surf when bored. thats bout it for now.
ahh yes and well, forest rd today was blocked off. lots and lots of people with stalls and stuff for chinese new year... lion dancers and stuff like that. really packed and really hot. not my kinda thing.. reminded me of hk too much.. the crowdedness.. cept this was a mixture of gwailos and chinese and fobs. anyhow, it was basically another excuse for all the shops to set up stalls for even more sales. how else can you describe it..
went over to grandmas place for dinner as with tradition. and we're going there tomorrow too.. to bai lin... and get red pockets =D =D (hahaha u shoulda seen justins face when he realised the significance of tomorrow)
soo.. kong hei fat choi (we had a minor debate whether it should be written 'gong' or 'kong'.. whatever). year of the dog and in our family that means andrew =)

'celebrated' australia day in the 'true aussie style' (so says that stupid ad on the radio). had a family gathering and bbq.. cept it was bbq hk-style.. where u cook ur own food. which means its guaranteed to be entertaining.. basically (and rather childishly) it was a competition to see who could cook their food without charcoaling it.. and of course, the monkey would always charcoal her food to the nth degree. hehe so thats funny.. and we had some fun toasting marshmallows.. and trying to get them off the stick without it falling off or melting all over the place. good thing it wasnt a very hot day.. just right for a bbq.
had some gamecube fun too.. 4 player mario kart.. hehe i kicked ass!! well everyone would after playing it a few times... but yeah.. bit of friendly rivalry there... and the monkey kept coming last. lol but didnt play that long since everyone has work tomorrow.. so ppl left pretty early today.
then cleaned up... mopped the floor since i felt icky that they werent clean.. took out rubbish, hosed down the bbq area, put chairs back and drank like 1.5 litres of water.. sitting in front of a fire makes u really really dehydrated..
washed hair.. and stuff.. and im blow drying my hair and contemplating dying my hair again.. since its not that noticeable.. now that'll earn me some criticism i think... =P

drove the monkey to canterbury ice skating.. in the rain.. pretty heavy too.. and since it was double demerits i was extra extra good =D =D not tat i really had to be.. since the traffic speed was pretty slow due to the wet weather n stuff.. still a lot of cars.. and i absolutely hate being sandwiched inbetween two trucks.
and spent the rest of the day trying to work our new cordless phones (we got a set of 4 which means someone has their own =D =D =D).. but that didnt work out too well.. we called up customer service and everything.. and got really pissed off. and all we had to do was let it charge. lol tat was funny.. but hey they work now =D
oh yeah and we were trying them out.. well i was using my mobile to call and stuff.. and i thought it was just me pranking myself basically and since they were all private number i couldnt tell the difference. so turns out i really got a call from annie.. hehe oops.. and i sorta accidently but purposely didnt answer her call.. anyways.. she dropped by for a couple of mins.. and thats all it takes for me to get information off her. rather interesting i must say.

went to bondi with justin and the monkey today to watch memoirs of a geisha.. and because it was $8 tickets =). but the movie was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. loved every minute of it.. exactly like the book which was really good too.. but yeah, had the audience really drawn in. wouldnt mind seeing it again but probably not at the cinemas..
and we walked around.. had brunch with aunty since she works in bondi.. had ice cream.. gelato.. hazelnut is so nice =D =D my sister is a pig too.. she had a double scoup with whipped cream.. justin n i could only handle the single..
oh yeah.. and we spent a significant amount of time watching the sticky candy store. well, lets say it was boring in the beginning.. but we were mesmerised. they were making hard candy from scratch.. and it was really reallly cool how that did it.. handmade.. next time, gonna get a bag of the stuff.. we got to try it too. pretty good stuff =) though a some points slightly disturbing how they were handling the sugar. oh and they put words on it.. amazing stuff.. u gotta see it to believe it.

our of sheer boredom and because of scorching temperatures.. went to two shopping centres.. westfield and roselands. walked around aimlessly. at least they had air con there.. plus i was going to go mad at home just sitting here and doing nothing..
heard from ppl all around the world today.. =P well they were in different places around the world.. 2 days until those europe-usa ppl get back, 4 days until val gets back and still over a week till joycey gets back.. *sigh* oh wells.
and a certain someone was gonna say something bitchy (her words, not mine) about my blog.. but for some reason or anthoer she never got around to it.. *shrugs*.. like whatever..... =P

woke up pretty early cause it was really hot.. went shopping with parents.. but didnt get anything. campsie had weekend markets .. and mum bought some fruit. . and went to westfield for a bit.. pretty mundane.. had a sudden urge to go swimming in the arvo.. cause parents had ditched my sister and i. so we went to the closest place possible. biggest mistake i could ever have made... it was absolutely disgusting. filthy. smelly. packed with people. didnt even stay long cause we could barely swim.. couldnt even do laps properly with all the poeple around.. especially people who dont follow rules and just walk around the pool even when fenced off by lane ropes, swimming on the wrong side, swimming too slow in the FAST lane.. gosh. list could go on. but mainly because it was school holidays, and as an added bonus to that, it was a sunday afternoon, with scorching temperature outside and parents thought it would be good to get take their lil kiddies to the pool... so we only stayed bout an hour.. its completely different to my morning swims.. almost like a different place.
went for a short drive after that.. ended up at a drive thru maccas.. and lets just say i am SOO nice to my sister. headed home after that.. oh yeah and i should mention that throughout the day, i got calls from annie telling me that there was some drink up and that i should go.. hmm well.. apart from the fact that its completely last min and i already had plans for the day.. i woulda gone. so she got pissed at me.. whopee. and yeah.. but she called and said it was cool after..
dinner at some family frends place.. bit weird.. didnt really know the people there too well.. kinda boring but at least my godbrother was there.. sucking his fingers as usual. and man... they had way way waayyyyyyyyyy tooo much food for like 15 people.. sooo much stuff leftover.. and yeah.. just sat there.. got bored.. and wondered if i woulda had a better time if i went to the party. *shrugs*
now.. i feel really awake.. and i just sweeped, mopped and morteined my room.. cause i saw a spider before.. its dead now.. it tried to come back.. so i sprayed it with mortein and squashed it.. thats wat u get for creeping into my room. got rid of some more junk.. sort of.. more like paper wasteage. and ive drunk bout a litre of water in the past 20 mins.. and still feel really really thirsty... =S

well, there you go although i must say, i am not a sloth.. but seems alright.. maybe envy coulda been a little higher.. and yeah, dont get on my bad side =P

went for a bit of a swim this morning with justin. gosh, its so packed these days.. there were only 3 lanes for swimmers.. =X feel a bit ripped off.. but ahh.. needed the spa =D didnt get out till skin was all wrinkly. had a rather long chat.. more talking than swimming laps.. we only did 40.. tats 10 laps less than the minimum usual! we do 8 laps and hes like 'im tired'... pfft
went to post office to post couple of items and picked up vals mail.. amusing to see her cars juss outside on the driveway.. haha.. they had quite a bit of mail.. her place not that far away.. but got a teeny bit lost.. missed the sign basically. so i did an illegal u turn.. (oops?). anyhow, was almost freakin in an accident cause the loser 2 cars in front of me was turning and didnt indicate.. so everyone behind the retard had to break so hard.. gosh.. worse than trying to break for a yellow-turning-to-red light (maybe cause i never do.. well i did today.. tat was a hard break too... but busy intersection.. sooo.. id rather stop).. but yea.. makes me look like a bad driver u stupid asshole!!
then boredom overtook again...

yay =D.. enough said?? bit of relief although i wasnt all that nervous..
anyway today.. rained. was rather cool went to westfield and roselands with my sister.. im so nice. bougyt myself a pair of shoes and she got a pair of jeans and school shoes.. and i had a nap this arvo cause i was bored.. vals gone.. =( my turn to be left alone. shes prolly somewhere above lots and lots of water.. hehe.

woke up at 11.. some much needed sleep. and went to msy today with val.
but i think shes pretty disappointed.. since they were out of stock for her computer parts. haha but shes so funny.. and slack. cause for her brothers computer, she got all the crappest/cheapest stuff and for herself, she chooses the more/most expensive and better quality stuff.
some rain today. but otherwise nice weather.. feel like i have heaps of stuff to do since i got back.
think i'll upload some photos and do some blog tweaking soon.

12 January (Day 1):

arrived round 11:30. nice flight cause it was business class.. ahh the service and the food is incomparable to the 'cattle class' as dad calls it. movable seat, back massager, more movies, more choice, bigger screen.. anyway, aunty mary picked us up. her place was pretty cool.. really hypo but v cute dogs, coco and mocha. hmm and michael came over for lunch.
then in da arvo, we went for a paddle. actually, it was white water rafting. michael lived near this lake (his place is freakin NICE) they call Lake Placid and it was a good couple of km water and rapids. so him and i went in a dodgy inflatable canoe and went white water rafting. haha okok, it wasnt that dodgy. freakin fun as though. he's so funny, hes like 'paddle.. stooooppppp!!!!' when we got to the top of a rapid. really cool.. anyways, he was making up these really lame names for the falls.. and he pretended to be a tour guide.. hahaha.. on the left, you have trees and on the right you have more trees, and striaight ahead, there is more water.. da idiot. and he threw me into the water!!! argh!!! after telling me that i should tread water so i dont get my feet caught in da rocks. so went for a little swim. haha since they didnt have that much rain the past few days, the water levels were pretty low.. so we got caught on the rocks a couple of times. lol that was funny. one time, we had to get off and walk around the rocks.. hahaha but otherwise it was good. apart from the fact that since i was sitting in the front, he could wet me anytime and i had to make a huge effort to get him back. and he kept whacking his paddle on my head. all those brain cells i lost!!! so everytime i splashed him he goes 'haha, you missed.' pfft.. and hes like 'i think i might be splashed in the face one day, but it wont be today'. HAHA i got him good after that.. =D =D =D
hmm got to da bottom of da lake and he was like, you drive da car up here.. ahem.. i did (sif i would resist a chance at driving. i can now add a 93 camry to my list) but i had no licence on me.. haha, not like it was far. his car is soooooo unclean.. covered in dust but has a really hot stereo system. and hes steering wheel is bendable.. hmm.. maybe i wasnt supposed to twist it like that.. do do do..
hmm dinner we went to the pier.. seafood restaurant 2fish. seafood platter wasnt great but the pesto bread and seafood luiguini was pretty good. walked around shops for a little. it started pouring suddenly.... but at least it meant we slept well that night.

13 January (Day 2):

relaxing day. went yum cha which was surprisingly okay. although it was kinda weird that there were skip waiters and the asian ones couldnt speak any cantonese or mandarin or chinese. and they called some of the dishes really weird names.. also went to the fruit market.. mmm all da tropical fruit.. bought mangos and pineapples and papayas.. yum yum.
after lunch we headed to their biggest shopping centre which wasnt all that big.. but they did have myer. bought a skirt. as expected, there were heaps more surfing/beachy shops.. all lined up. but prices were still the same as us down here.
dinner at home.. ate outside.. lots of mossies. and played cranium.. mixture of skills, knowledge, charades, drawing and scuplting. quite funny.. really good cause wat ppl can do.. so funny. haha liane had to mime dancing with the wolves.. was FUNNNY.. but their team got it (and they won by one..) anyways, yeah, i sucked at drawing. haha. was a good black friday. oh yeah and liane was telling us how she accidently ate the dog food instead of the box of leftovers.. HAHAHAHA its slack but it was soooooooooooo funnnnnnnny..

January 14 (Day 3):

early wake up. bout 7 cause dad and i (i think i forgot to mention that only dad and i went up) went to green island. its sad to see that lots of the coral has died and lots of it is losing its colour. the glass bottom boat tour was good.. there was this big black trevaly that kept following us.. and we found out the reason at the end.. it wanted to be fed cause there was a feeding part towards the end of the tour. saw some turtles and clams, lots of fish.. and hard and soft coral. and dead coral =( after that, i went for a swim and snorkel.. water was pretty salty.. but it was nice and cool. got sunburnt though.. and i had sunscreen on.. guess it wasnt enough.
we headed back to cairns in the arvo.. and called mum (juss cause we had to.. haha jk). sat on the sundeck of the rivercat. it was sooo nicee.. with the breeze.. but more sunburnt.. ahah and dad got sunburnt too. was really hot though. but better than sitting inside with the air con. nice fresh sea air..
had jap noodles for lunch and we headed for glorias for some coffee. then proceeded to shop for souveneirs. walked around town.. wasnt that big but it was hot.
had a bbq in the evening.. and michaels like 'you look sunburnt wynnie' and smirks. pfffft sif i needed him to tell me!! hmm and we were folding junk mail at night that was supposed to be delivered. i beat dad and liane who were working together.. i folded da most!!! yeah, like great wynnie...

January 15 (Day 4):

port douglas today. which is 61 km from cairns. a nice scenic drive. markets in the morning.. some nice stuff. bought an opal for mum. headed to mokkas pies (apparently, you cant go to port douglas without trying their pies) and then a cafe for lunch. they were better than frozen pies but well, im not a huge fan of pies. some more shopping.. bought myself a pair of cargos and some more souveneirs. dad picked up some drift wood on the way home.
we all had a nap when we went home.. was a long day. went to verdis, an italian restaurant for dinner.. was really good.. woodfire pizzas and really nice risotto and stuff like that. night markets after dinner.. there was a pearl lucky dip sorta thing.. like you get to choose the oyster you want, and you dunno wat colour pearl it is.. and i picked a black one!!!!! like whoppee!! cause i was like.. i want a black one.. and the chick's like, theyre pretty rare.. and when she opened it, she was so surprised.. dad bought some fruit wine.. mango and lychee i think. sounds pretty weird to me. hmm and more rain.. coco and mocha were all wet and jumped on us when we got back.. ew ew!! and there were geckos in my room.. *shudder* i do not like sharing my room with weird lizard like creatures...

January 16 (day 5):

woke up at 4:45 in the morning to go to the airport only to be stranded cause our 6:50 plane, due from japan was delayed due to heavy snow. *sigh* so we spent about 6 hours at the airport.. had a coffee.. and looked around the shops. there werent that many.. we finished browsing in like half an hour.. so bought a magazine.. and dad was doing his sudoku.. had some hungry jacks.. havent had that in ages.. anyway, ended up on a 12:50 flight and was i pissed off or wat. since they had all the remaining ppl from the morning flight, the flight was extra packed.. and we didnt get busienss class seats. damn it!!!!!!!! and i was so tired.. at least there was a decent movie.. just like heaven was alright. kept me occupied for bout half the flight. but not happy.. but i got home... thats wats important eh?
hmm got home round 5:30.. and val called me when i was still at the airport. lol poor girl mustve been really bored. went out for dinner cause mum couldnt b bothered to cook. val came over at night.. and i was like half dead.. but well, that was my trip to cairns. and to think i was close to deciding not to go.. soooo glad i did. =D =D =D

yeah.. i think people might b wondering where i went.. wow.. whole week with no new posts.. shall be fixed when im un-jetlagged and after i get some sleep. yes, thats right, i was on an aeroplane.. again =D details later.. hehe. if it helps, i got sunburnt. lol

really boring sunday.. spent all day at home.. thats depressing. parents decide to go shopping either the likes of someone unrelated rather than their own daughters.. makes depression factor go up even more. so i spent the day taking down some stuff and putting new stuff up, rearranging stuff in my room, cleaning my room.. sitting there staring at space.
there was some productiveness.. i did a 108 piece puzzle.. but that only cured boredom for a little while, played some pc game.. but wasnt long. *sigh* hm.. sister wants me to take her to da beach.. come to think of it.. i wouldnt mind either...

didnt realise i didnt blog for a couple of days. oh wellz. guess cause nothing exciting happened..
anyhow, shopping today.. got a few much needed tops for oneself =D mostly black. *sigh* i woulda shopped longer.. but well sister was like, im tired i wanan go home. pfft.. haha and i got lost in da parking. shameful... but well.. i usually park underground and not up.. but i thoguht it would be fun to go up da ramp.. hahaha ive spent like 200 dollars in 2 days!! =S no income too.. =( washed car in da evening.. now its all polished and shiny and smells nice =D =D

went to amf bankstown today for a couple of games. hmm rach didnt go.. again =( =( backed out on us.. but we had 5 ppl.. val, anna, perveen n jen came along. hehe so many gutter balls in the second game when we got rid of the bumpers. and they got addicted to collecting tickets for uh.. rubber and bouncy balls and bracelet prizes. we now all have an 'exclusive' fluro coloured piece of plastic that goes around ones wrist. *sigh* and no, it wasnt my idea.. i think its quite obvious which two people came up with it. haha
after that we bummed around centro bstown.. ended up eating cones n sundaes from maccas. haha.. oh yeah and we sort said hi to dondons mum who was working. kinda weird.. not sure if she recognises us.. anyhow, dropped anna n perveen off at annas place and headed home...
car really needs to be washed.. will be done soon. kinda late now but preferences deadline closes in bout 9 minutes...

another one of those uni info days.. which actually arent that great since the people are most of the time, not much help. bumped into a huge amount of people.. but well, where else would u?? think ive been convinced to go to unsw...
anyhow, got a few calls today. one from the states =D =D yay i feel special. about nothing in particular and one from annie.. bout uni preferences. *sigh* i asked her how she found out i was back and she said suzanne told her cause she saw me with val and stuff at usyd. and so now im wondering htf did suzanne know i was overseas in the first place. and annie was like.. "*cough* well i mightve mentioned it when i chucked a party.." pfffft. thanks dude. okay so its not a big deal but still. sif people who i dont even know/talk to anymore know bout me going overseas and stuff.. oh yeah annd i hear elisas' caused some more trouble.. do doo dooo.. why am i not surprised.. so yeah. the girl has no idea wat she wants to do.. (yeah right).. so's shes like do i want to go to the party uni, fob uni or hot chick (and there fore be known as a hot chick) uni. and i wanna do languages buti want to do commerce and eco and blah blah..
might be heading interstate soon. we'll see. yay =D

landed at round 8:30 this morning.. we didnt get out until almost quarter past 10 cause of customs and stuff. sydney really needs better organisation in that area.. it needs better organisation in general actually.
unpacked stuff and called val.. only to be yelled at cause i didnt call her sooner =P bummed with her for a bit. round westfield and stuff. complained bout its crappiness but also how there were less people. then went home and bludged more..a den jet lag started kicking in. *yawn* now i feel tired.. so i shall post photos or watever later.. tomoorow.. if i can b btohered afta going to da uni days.

went out to mong kok again today for a bit of last minute shopping. what they sold was actually pretty different from the last time we went, primarily because it was a public holiday today.
lots of fake branded stuff (ur handbags, watches, etc).. and all these gwailos who were buying them.. got some more bags. wat can i say.. theyre cheap and nice. hmm oh yes.. we came back and did some supermarket shopping sprees =D =D
heaps of people.. but i tended to pretend they werent there today. cant let them disturb my shopping. anyhows, in 24 hours i shall be on a plane.

just got home.. so tired. so many people in da shopping centres.. but well, we bought stuff so well =D.. make that heaps of stuff.. wonder how its gonna pack into the suitcases... hehehe
hmm since everyones all around da world (cept val whos still in syd.. =P sorry had to say it).. timings sort whacked.. still living in 2005 atm.
the heart on the harbour bridge was gay.. yea.. not in aust and i can still see it.. the joys of the net. =D
anyhow, so party it out.. i plan to sleep.. and shop more tomorrow.
