yes i know. its been a while. long enough for me to write something meaningful (i won't) but short enough to still remember home.
so we've actually made it to our second destination: osaka.
we spent the first 4 days in sapporo, which is capital of Hokkaido, the northern end of Japan.
Sapporo was beautiful - cooler, more casual, laidback and in many ways, cheaper. And unknown to us until we acutally got there, the stupid bloody G8 summit was held in sapporo the same few days we were staying. that explains why many of the hotels were booked out, why traffic was chaotic, why there were police at every interaction, snipers/bodyguards on the tops of buildings and two helicopters constantly keeping a lookout for troublemakers' george w. gay was in down.
pfffft. i have pictures of motorcades to prove it. there was this fully sick nissan skyline. black, fully done up that we bumped into in sapporo AND otaru - which is another destination, popular tourist place, from sapporo. they just had to follow MY itinerary cause they couldnt come up with their own..
we made it to osaka yesterday - eventhough our flight was delayed. went to shinsaibashi and tried to shop. but the place gets overcrowded and its hard to walk. same happened today in tennoji cause its saturday. so much stuff going on. im really enjoying my time here so far but i miss home at the same .
one last thing. everything here in japan is sweet. sweet means carbs. carbs means bad.
i feel constipated and overbloated.
but everything is so nice!!! see my problem? ive probably gained like 5 kilos already.
an example of a set meal is udon with a side of a bowl of rice seasoned with mushroom and tofu. like hello, where's the protein?!?
plus all the snacks that they have.. all their red bean and green tea stuff is soooo good. and eventhough im saying no to a lot of things, there are still some that u "have to" try!!! and it all adds up.
so i guess i will just have to try again when i get home.
i was assualted, licked, molested and bitten by deers today. all because i had food for them and they wanted it.. too soon. so much fun though. nara is great.

woke up and the builders - rather, knocker downers, were back.. for the whole of 15 minutes. they shook up the place a bit and then decided that no, today wasn't the day to knock the house down. and promptly left. i think it was because it began to sprinkle and weather wasn't too good.
started the morning with a good ol' family debate. its the first time in a really long time that we were all up at the same time and still at home.. so we had a talk about atms, cuecards and exchange rates. went with mum to have a look at a couple of things early this morning before work.
it was markdown madness today. took me all of four hours and then some to mark down girls 1-6. some really cheap stuff mixed in with rat poo. no joke. and the same bloody customer from last night was back about the stupid stroller. and they nicked a part of our display one. got my manager so worked up. and omg. freaking hell, if they had read the instructions, they wouldn't have had to bother us and waste our time. she couldnt even speak english properly for goodness sakes. and she had already come in 3 times last night when i was working. grr.
had to rush home, get changed and go to city to do all this shit.
bought our JR passes.
found a really good FX place. and was on the phone (like one of those people who trade shares all day.. mwahaha) to mum who was almost gonna exchange money at st george for a really crappy rate.
i was like literally:
we got home at like 6 and i had to start making my dear coz's cake. and i only just finished stage 1. *sigh*
im so tired and i ate so freakin many
CARBS
CARBS
CARBS
CARBS
CARBS
that i am feeling sick again. i have a headache. and i feel like making myself throw up. i was going so well until i was told i had to make his cake. ROFL.. cause i had to try it and well, it just makes u eat more??? anyhow, i will just have to work even harder when i come back from japan.
i think im gonna get some sleep now. do some more caking tomorrow, work, dinner, party... i just feel like sleeping through it all.

i have a complete lack of motivation at the gym at the moment. its great and all that theyve upgraded or updated all the equipment, but in the end its the same stuff over and over again and like eating the same thing everyday, its kind of boring. so i need some new inspiration. ive been searching for awhile now in this context.
my acct tutor's quite the bitch and it was a pretty ordinary day at uni except for the fact that rach came to my acct lecture eventho she was sitting all the way on the other side of the theatre. oh and "her boyfriend" was with her. lol we got let off a little bit early so i managed to make it home before 6 for once.
parents took relos to wollongong and fish markets today so we had seafood for dinner. =D LOVE prawns and mussels and oysters.
anyhow, apart from all this, im quite the tired and feel as though something's missing. like in the shower, no matter how i turned the two knobs, it was either too hot or too cold. i just couldnt find the right temperature today. its taken me the better half of two hours to draw a stupid mindmap and i really cant be stuffed to do anything else at the moment.
and i had an early start tomorrow.
carbs are ruining my life again. *sigh*
