and its UNFAIR on EVERYONE when that ONE person makes OTHERS stay back because they put in all these THEORIES and HYPOTHETICALS into the otherwise SIMPLE equation.

what a bizarre but fulfilling day it was.
i had breakfast with someone i hadn't talked to in 3 years at a new local cafe that was pretty good. pretty yummy smoked salmon, mushroom and ricotta omelette. coffee was so-so but at least it was hot enough! talked about a lot of old times and all the things in between.
then, i decided to go via westfield to pick a fight. turns out i was too eager, so i went home to do it over the phone.
and after a 40 minute wait - didn't really mind being on hold for so long - but it just fuelled my enthusiasm to get what i wanted, i was put through to someone who could help me.
*brings in my negotiation skills*
so was talking to the lady about upgrading my handset... and i went from staying on my old cap with a $20 per month handset payment (this is apparently the only thing they can offer for current customers in forms of a loyalty discount - i.e., can only upgrade you with a discount on your current cap) to:
~ no cancellation fee
~ $50 bonus credit (up from $25) on your next bill
~ upgrade to the new $49 cap for the iphone 4
~ delivery fee for the new phone waived.
~ phone to be deilvered within 3 weeks
quite satisfied with that! and wasn't too hard to negotiate.
and this arvo, spent outdoors with my dogs and our lawn. oh who knew you could fee so content cutting grass.

so im sitting upstairs in the office - melting. its like so stuffy in here. the boss won't turn the air con on and its like 32 degrees outside.
did i mention that the building next door was also on fire? it was really bad black smoke for awhile and we had to close all our windows. ah if only it warranted an evacuation. and what's more funny is that a few weeks ago, the building across the street burnt down down down and it looks like an abandoned building now.
i have decided that i can't afford the iphone - or at least, im not willing to pay for the upgrade at this moment. plus im not the kind of girl who needs the emotional attachment of facebook 24/7. or sms. or the internet for that matter. i don't look at my phone to see if i get a new message every 2 minutes. plus it won't fit in my pocket.. so, its a no. focus my spending spree on other investments.
i bought a cheaper (much cheaper than Elsa Perretti@ Tiffany) SS necklace for my charm. seems to be fine. cause i was half wanting to solder it on permanently to the bracelet anyway. but now, i might let i dangle for a while. 50% off everything at GM is a pretty good deal. still need to find a time to go to city and get it booked in.. (wishes we could have a movie outing soon~)
and finally, (feels like this is an essay) i have come to accept that valerie will not be replying to my text. FINE. lol. to be expected. im there for her but she's never there for me~ at least i still have janice. LOL. *plans the weekend outing and hopes to spend $$$*

i forgot to mention. martin has the new iphone which looks just like the itouch. and he was using it as a gps to get to my place. and lol, the phone picks up on all wireless networks around the area. and he picked up the network 'wynwen' and he said to me when i got in the car. u have a wireless network called wynwen, i knew i was in the right place! and im like.. haha yeah but u dont have the password. HAHAHA and he was like 'damn it.' lols. we were going through his photos.. and a lot of people i know are on his phone.. including val. hahaha. i was a bit surprised to see it. there was this one of val and sam wong together and jan was like 'hey tats sam! whos the other person?'
relaying bodysuits cause no one else will do it and i felt like it. heaps of markdowns but my manager is too lazy to do anything about it. the bottom was so dirty that there was rat poo all over the ground. disgusting. so glad i didn't have to touch it. but the end result looks good. everything's sorted.
