got pulled into a room today. cause i'm so important that there was a fight / argument over me yesterday.

made me so sad / stressed / tired i needed to buy a pair of wittner shoes for therapeutical reasons. myer was a dogfight today. lining up for 15 mins to pay for undies is uncool.

ran into my coz-in-law too. random. it was like

.. but i so deserved (some) of it.

the weather didn't hold out. it was a gloomy and cold day all around. but that didn't deter us!

funniest and easy-going day.

team leader wasn't in the office till 11. so i did a wholllllllllllllllllllle lot of work. ;)

and then it was hurricanes.

"i have a lunch meeting now with hurricanes"

"hurricanes? they are a client of ours? isn't that a restaurant in DH?"

hahaha.

and in the car, our RMs like telling us a story of how his 7 year old had show and tell and it was about where do your parents work. and his son said (because this is what daddy always told him)

"daddy works in the city because all the girls are pretty"

LOL!

half rack of lamb. finished.. most of it. with two bottles of beautiful white wine. plus garlic prawns for starters and garlic bread. oh and THEN we fit in dessert =D =D =D

didn't know they did beef ribs. have to go back and try it one day.

anyhow, so the waitress is like. would any of you like the dessert menu?

and before this my team leader is like

"hm.. hey RM, go check how much we have on the bill so far"

and we had like 40 bucks left. (thanks to the very expensive wine we got)

and shes like.. hmm...

can u call chris and see wat he can do about it?

and so our RM calls chris and he's like

"hey mate. we're at about $460 at the moment.. is it ok to put dessert on the corporate card too?"

LOL!!! what a CLEVER tactic! we were impressed.

and our senior managers like

"were you counting all the dishes and making sure you guys don't go over ur limit?"

HAHAHAHA. so we had dessert. stick date pudding!! YUM YUM YUM!

anyway, got back to the office. and we all have like voicemails (as expected).

and we were all like.. urgh, so full. *but everyone continues to steal lollies out of the lolly jar*

and then cause we're going to parra tomorrow, TL's like, wynnie we're going to need to get you a booster seat!

cause my colleague does like everything for me..
1. cause im the youngest
2. apparently i act like a princess *halo*
3. when we leave at 5, my colleague always opens the door and presses the lift
4. i get everything i want

so yeah, it was fun.

oh and i full like almost broke my colelagues umbrella. LOL!!! it was soooo funny we were cracking up all the way back.

another sunday of driving manual. building shelves (and the swearing and feeling sorry for oneself that comes along with it). cleaning and family time. <3

a short but exciting week coming right up!

we got to the dock much earlier than anticipated despite having to do bras and underwear.

and driving to sans souci in the rain. with huge puddles. dangerous

maccas. fun. i love maccas drives.

stocktake checker. not exactly what you would call fun.

the bunch of ppl last night were fun tho. as was steph using the excuse that it was her birthday every 2 seconds. lol.

did i mention i continued my stocktake spending spree? clothes AND make up on top of an ebay spree.

what am i gonna do with myself..

getting up at dawn is not all its cracked up to be. in fact, its decidedly painful, especially when youre getting up to go to work.

we did confec and books. just thinking about it makes me cringe. who knew we sold so many different types of chocolate bars...

i napped for an hour this arvo. i love napping in the sun.

and again, spending money during stocktake.. *sigh* but this time on pretty cake books.

so angry at scout for not taking his medication. i tried peanut butter and meatballs. smart bugger. he gets smarter everytime. so i gave up. mum can deal with him tomorrow.

she'll eat anything.

i thought i'd update this whilst donna goes and squeezes orange juice. time for a break from assignmenting.

i love going to work when im by myself.

so it doesn't come as a surprise when i say that the place looks like a hole. cause it was all on sale.

i feel sorry for me, myself and i - and nads.

and then we had stocktake this evening. cosmetics. again. i always end up doing cosmetics.

and i had to count the two most important cabinets. lol. painful. i dont know how they maange to fit so many razors onto such a small shelf. and olay... i don't ever want to see olay products for a long long time.

it all starts again at 7 am tomorrow.

oh and we went to bunnings this morning to get a marquee. yay~ progress on my 21st.

im stressing so much about so many things because i can't let go of it even though some of it is beyond my control. e.g. gened group assignment. its like i need closure.
didnt go to 3121 lecture but instead did some really productive work in the commlabs. 2 hours worth of assignment writing turns into quite a substantial bit of work. more than i couldve done during the lecture.
the tutorial was a waste of time but spent some more time in lab after to do even more until i really had to leave for work. but i didn't really want to.
we were in kidswear for stocktake and the backdock. haha unloading and scanning trolleys and cages is even worse than tcf. lol
we had to be shush shush tonight. paul like really really laid down the rules. no talking. zilch. apparently there were heaps of errors last night (oh wells i wasn't there).
i dont think its fair to give three substantial additional readings one night before a journal submission is due. what about those who go to uni all day wednesday or have work committments? wat a load of bull. =(

i got up at 6 am for stocktake. walked out in the bitter cold and semi darkness. stupid westfield hadn't opened their doors yet so i had to walk up the carpark to get to the lifts and go down that way. was barely awake while all this happened.
stocktaked until 12:30. clads called in sick (pfft plantation.. pfft said she wasnt going out after last nights stocktake.. pfft.. liar.. =P lol) so i had to check all by myself. and it was different cause it was mostly register people counting this morning. only had elena and matt from the floor with me. im just so important that i got to print off reports and tick (ie, check) their counting. lol. its so tedious and boring.
we did the worst parts today too.
opened a draw on the bottom of cards and wraps and it was filled with rat shit. no joke. i was so grossed out. had shivers down my spine for a while. ewww
registers and confec were also a bitch. especially when you have to scan like a million tic tac boxes and chupachups.
then we moved to stationery, books and confec at the back. which was a bit better but still bad. hahaha but stocktake it bad in general.
i came home and crashed.. was supposed to go straight to stephs but decided to wait for jan and chu. got a lift =)
took a nap. read a paper. freakin stressed more about 3121. stupid guy was like 'yeah sure i'll email it to you tonight'. I STILL HAVENT GOTTEN IT. and i desperately need it by tomorrow otherwise i wont have time to get it altogether. im getting really irritated about it cause i have tons to do this week as well.
stephs party was great fun. she had a cocktail machine.. yummy cosmos and mango cocktails. like slurpees through the freezing cold. we were sitting outside with this huge woodfire. so cosy.
me and steve decided to go for a coles run at ramsgate to grab some marshmallows and skewers and sparklers. so fun =D
and then martin and chu went for a maccas/kfc run. hahaha yummmmmmy
not that steph didnt feed us.. we just got there pretty late and decided to get more food. her cake was super cool. gelato cake. im gonna try make one one day... when i get the opportunity and the time and money of course.

just-inny shouted yum cha today. WOOOOOOT. i had 45 minutes to order as much as i could. but luck is always on his side.. the food was slow to our table. and monkey had to leave early as well so didnt exactly make the most of it. oh wells. better than last time. hahaha and i was pretty full.
2 new girls with me today.. so muriell was like.. im putting u in charge of them. so i was fully stressed cause it was a massive sale as well. like.. it wasn't a normal saturday. no regulars =(
anyhow, stocktake afterwards was fun. lol.
found out that like 5 of the boys went to marist. i was like.. r u serious? and they were like.. wat? whered u go. and im like

and theyre like moaning. 'u have got to be kidding...' and 'our friendship ends here.' ROFL =D
and i always get rorted. i was a checker for TCF AGAIN. T-C-F!!!!! as in count nail polishes and lip glosses. nooo!!
steve and clads and i were checking. and paying out all the noob stocktakers.. cause there were so many errors. haha and a few of us ended up with foundation all over our pants. including me. =(
decided to skip lukes 21st... lauras sick again. and im not about the rock up by myself.. plus im tired. have heaps of work. its stephs bday party tomorrow. and id rather go to hers.

day 2 of miranda stocktake.
we spent the first 1 hour n half in toys.. that was relatively easy. lol i had to so the freakin weights. workout during work much? and then came the nightmare. and by nightmare i mean, the dirtiest, stuffiest, hottest and hugest place u can imagine that could exist inside a store.
THEIR RESERVES WAS LIKE BIGGER THAN OUR STORE PUT TOGETHER!!
and it was literally just shelves and shelves and shelves of stock. and rentokil and dust. they probably had like 50 aisles and there were ppl just scanning in each one. (keep in mind hurstville, broadway and rockdale [that i know of] on top on mirandas own people were there to scan). it was so crazy. and i have inhaled enough dust to last me the rest of the year.
did i mention we were working with my old manager? that was fun. i even had my car parked next to hers. hahaha
anyhow so glad its over. and hahaha like last night, we got lost in the carpark again. they closed the exits we used yesterday which was really really weird.. so anyway, we ended up following the miranda ppl who finished and found this new exit. and omg, there were all these speed humps and they didnt even slow down!! i was like.. no wait.. i need to catch up to see where ur going!! at least we got out.. and despite all that, got back sooner than last night. and thats an achievement =D and no i wasnt speeding.
i want to go shopping but im not sure for what.

haha its boring but its sort of fun cause everyones doing exactly the same thing all night. were doing in at miranda these two nights. and i was singled out and made to check.. i hate it when they pick u for no reason. =( and i had the worst location to scan too. ah well.
so we sort of drove around the carpark last night a bit lost cause we couldnt find any exits that were still open. lol
i got my hair cut today. nothing major but i think i like it. 'think' because i got a bit of a fringe now. at least my hair feels a lot lighter and eventho u can still see the really obvious roots regrowing, its better. and the girl was really nice =)
