fuchsia fragments

got up toasty early (although it was freezing - yes, i was very cold last night) for a hair cut. only to have to wait because the hairdresser was running late.

so i shopped at myer. got my bang bang bin and some clearance clothing. nice~

came home, nessie's eye was weepy. so made a last min consultation at the RSPCA. poor baby. so scared. so she's somehow managed to damage the outer layer of her eye and amazingly not her cornea. the vet was perplexed and had no idea how that could have happened except to say that she's a super lucky dog! so we came home with some eye ointment. that's going to be fun...

and then...

more itinerary and europe research and planning. it goes slow but almost there in terms of what to DO. then i need to plan how much to SPEND (i.e., budget). easy part right?

anyhoo and i feel the need to share with all that i watched breaking dawn last night after awesome dinner with janpanny at chat thai.

hahaha yeah.. . needless to say, it was... . . . . . . as you'd expect. had its moments.

deliberately  - and i mean - made a huge effort - to have absolutely no plans this weekend. to study.

it's like an alien word. my brain doesn't know how to process it but procrastination seems to come effortlessly, as though it were second-nature.

i made a pretty good attempt yesterday (barr the sleeping in). didn't go anywhere, didn't download that much stuff to watch, didn't surf the net for too long, didn't spend a lot of time of facebook, youtube, etc.

just the hour... or two on ebay. got an early night. as you would when you study. right?!

today however...

still attempting - the books are open, the highlighters are all lined up, the post its are ready and even my notes are printed and ordered. its just a matter of using all of these things in a productive manner . . . . . .

sidetracked by the MUM - myer. review. skirt. cue. sale. etc.

but even then it wasn't that long.

and the afternoon... seemed to slip through. movie. net. nothing. just ... tick tock.

nessie, walk, absorbing vitamin D, checking live netball score.

food glorious food.

so after visiting grandma in hospital and when she promptly told us to leave, headed to the city to f-i-n-a-l-l-y meet my favourite people at Boral. :-)

and o m g. Bob is so mean. he stole my bag!!! he wasn't even 100% sure it was me and he stole it anyway!! and Greg's like what if it wasn't her Bob? and Bob, flippant as ever said

"well, i would have found out sooner or later - i would have gone through her things!"

!!!!! what a way to meet face-to-face!! hahaha. so i was really mean to him for the rest of lunch. :-) I think Greg and Donna thought it was really funny. hehehe

we went to jordans . . .

lovely seafood platter - it literally had every common seafood on it. (it was so ginormous i couldn't see bob over all the food after i nicely requested that he switched seats with Greg. . . told u i was mean to him). and really nice, crisp semillon. for old people, they're such lovely company. so funny. i felt sorry for the waited at one stage. *sigh* Bob's really fully on - needs to be kept on a short leash. and apparently, he was on his best behaviour (yeah right!). hilarious.

Bob also doesn't eat vegetables or fruit and Greg asked for a fruit and cheese platter at the end to which Bob kept making faces. lol. "the texture isn't right". pfft.

had a really good time. i'm really really going to miss them now :-( i was so sad when we parted . . .  *sniffle*

and then. . . . . . .

i went to supposedly do some hardcore shopping. but i really wasn't in the mood. i checked out qvb, the new westfield and myer pretty aimlessly . . . like i was just walking anywhere to kill time.

i ended up getting a cleanser and l'occitane and a maxi dress, summer dress and jacket/blazer from bardot.

by that time, i was super feet tired and so i went to s u b s o l o for dinner.

nice place - great food too. would definetely go back. yum yum yum. went with justin and his friend. we ordered this pork thing off the menu . . . not really knowing what it was and felt "daring" so when it came . .. and it looked funny . . . we googled it. MISTAKE!!!!!! it was blood!!!! but . . . we trudged on and still ate it. . . . and it was actually ok!

then we had peri peri chicken and paella. sooooo good. :-)

and then . . . . . . . .

we went to the guylian cafe by circular quay for dessert. O M G O M G O M G.

i do not know what possessed us. we got a praline liquer shake EACH and 2 desserts to share.

its been fluctuating this week.

greg offered me a job. HAHAHA. i said when bob retires. =D

anyhow, was pretty PROactive today. like srly so on top of things... trimmed my emails down to like 10. WOOHOOOOO go ME!!!

spent about 40 mins on the phone to bob for ONE quote.

then onto service control about service history. hellooooooo. i'm a girl. you need to explain these things to me... but brad's so lovely, he called after he sent the email and said

'do you understand it?'

'nooooo!!!'

so he talked me through it. =)

by the time i left i was reallllllly tired. but went to the myer event.

mix master - the handheld kind.

and a nice little black CUE dress for the christmas partyy.

When you think you finally get a much needed break from this horrendous weather, the heavens decided to open up once again...

So undeterred - that is, having no idea that it would rain again today, Donna and myself trekked it to bondi. It was supposed to be a spend all that you can and go crazy at the sales day. It didn't go off... At all.

In fact, I would say this has to be one of my more disappointing trips in a while especially when I can better this during my lunch hour shops.

Got nothing but food at bondi. Donna got a few things but not that much either.. So depressing that we had to come back into the city to continue shopping. first marketcity where the fail continued. We has more food there in the form of much needed cokes.

Then we did something stupid and decided to brave the rain and male a dash for myer. We got there relatively unwet and I finalllllllly made a purchase . Thats one wish jacket for me

Looked at bras some more and then decided that it was time to go home ..

Random sighting for the day: seeing a white guy and an Asian in the middle of Chinatown throwing would-be punches after an incident of road rage ...

made me so sad / stressed / tired i needed to buy a pair of wittner shoes for therapeutical reasons. myer was a dogfight today. lining up for 15 mins to pay for undies is uncool.

we went to roselands.

dad got some clothes. i got my revlon make up. she gave me the gift with P eventhought i spent only $36. and then we started talking about make up and brands. and she's not, stop buying lancome! ur paying for the packaging only! stick with loreal. its the same house (which i knew beforehand anyway). so yeah. good advice me thinks.

and she gave me all these elizabeth arden samples. =D

awesome.

had muffin break coffee. went to coles to get paella ingredients.

yummy hearty dinner.

i was on a supreme high at work. lol i think i scared a few people.

i dropped off my tiffany and co bracelet today. its going to take 3 weeks - THREE WEEKS - to get my charm soldered. O_o

all i can say is...

okay. better be good. lol.

then i went to myer. bought a dress. cooper st. potential graduation dress =D

i plan on buying a few and picking. lols. excuses.

then i went to marketcity. esprit had a take a further 25% off everything. so i got a pretty top and a feather down vest jacket. for japan. you know... lols. that was in the span of like 15 minutes.

pretty much went home after that. nice to walk. i need to exercise. like seriously.

made a cheesecake. as you do.

then plopped in front of the couch for the next 4 hours watching TVB. currently loving burning flame 3.

oh and then i sort of lost it at justin and donna for no reason. like.. i dont know wats wrong with me. gomen nasai.

oh wait, i forgot about the 2 minute storm. it was hailing at our place.
ive done absolutely nothing today and eventhough i should be feeling really guilty (major assignment due), it felt really good to bludge =D
