Okay, I needed a lot of sleep this weekend. And it didn't happen on Saturday.

Think I barely managed 5 blissful hours...

We went to the Grounds for brunch. And it was packed. And it was hot. The hour wait didn't work with us on a tight schedule. So we found a patch in the garden and had brunch. Lemonades and smashed avocado and bacon and egg rolls and coffee. Yummy. But it was really really hot. We were sitting directly in the sun and it was probably 30+ degrees if not close to it. Nice, but not nice at the same time.

Went back to Amanda's place so Ivo could pack. (lol at 2 girls watching a guy pack...). Anyways, dropped him off at the airport on my way home.

To make my big soccer jersey cake. And take a power nap in between. Cake took ages to cool down. And couldn't ganache it till late at night.

So we went to our early CNY dinner at Caringbah. Never seen the kids so high and so talkative. Funniest thing was when baby Justin was playing, running around, playing some more. and oh, I'm tired, so i'll just lie here on the floor behind my aunty and curl up and fall asleep. IT WAS HILARIOUS. HE LITERALLY DROPPED AND WENT TO SLEEP... funniest thing ever...

Got to sleep in (sort of) on Sunday. Much much needed. And finish the cake. Cheap fondant is a big no-no. So it didn't turn out to be my best efforts. But it was okay for a pro-bono.

Surprise party for Albert last night. He was surprised. It was funny. Then we left because we started to feel too old. Fondue and pate at home... thats more our style ;)
