my heart's feeling kind of heavy. . .
a day of a lot of goodbyes. and it got a bit emotional at one point. :-(
its not my official last day, but it certainly felt that way!!! and with everyone scrambling around everywhere trying to tie loose ends in the short day we had, it just made it a whole heap more insane.
more of less, my goodbyes to Bob, Greg and Donna were via email. They had a hectic day there, so it was better just to email each other. A lot of heartfelt words, and even though I'll probably still be emailing them in the next few days (or in the 2 days I have left), it just won't be the same without their witty, funny or down-to-earth replies.
I am however - definitely - going to keep in contact.
Then there came the internal farewells - no doubt i will see many of them again - but its sad to say that we will no longer be working together. so a lot of kisses and hugs there.
And I called one of the guys down in Melbourne - haven't heard from him in weeks!!! - cause he'd been on holidays and now he's working out in the yard most of the time - so limited access to emails - pleasantly surprised to hear from him - so gave him a call, told him the news. Another shocked person. . . but just so lovely to work with - everytime i had a problem - he got it fixed for me in a heartbeat.
I am so grateful for all the people whom I have come in contact and gotten to know along the way at CF who have helped me learn all about the industry, grown with, gotten support from and for shaping me into the person I am today. I am so thankful for their smiles each and everyday, their friendship and their kindness. Many of them - in all the different offices - i consider to be friends and I will genuinely miss every one of them. They have taught me so much, helped me out beyond belief (especially when i was fighting for a rundown client) and never made things too difficult. I've had - to an extent - the time of my life here.
Sometime through the late morning, early afternoon, Carl called to say Merry Christmas and all the best to him on his trip!!! Hope it doesn't get cut any shorter buddy!!! We'll catch up next year when i'm 2 minutes closer to your office!
Left around quarter to 3. Felt really weird. . .
But enough lamenting - it is the festive season and Christmas Eve afterall!!!
So to everyone - all my girls in all corners of the world - and one special one who is, once again, only a short drive away - Merry Christmas - I hope it's everything you want and more. I hope the festive season brings you closer to your loved ones, is a time of giving, joy and happiness. I hope you treasure everything that you have and get all your heart desires in the New Year. May you all be happy, healthy, prosperous and may all your dreams come true!
Lots of love always,

And to quote my colleague - "Don't eat too much Christmas Day . . . drinking lots is OK!"
Lots of love always,

i thought things during christmas was supposed to slow down / be quiet / etc.
why am i so busy?
why am i so busy?
why am i so busy?
training a new person takes so much out of you. and im really beginning to feel the stress brought on by others. i have so much to finalise and i keep getting interrupted. . .
surprisingly, its Bob and Greg and team that are keeping me sane. at least they care!!! i'm going to meet them when all this is done and over. outside of work. no strings. no "loyalties". just catching up like old friends do over coffee.
gets really frustrating within the business. and i think i know that it won't get any better - only worse. the way things are headed anyway.
had an exit interview today. and then another informal one with one of the RMs. it was the longest conversation we've ever had!!! but he was really nice and understanding and i would love to see some changes occur. whenever that may be.
i'd love to keep my options open and if i were in the right place at the right time with the right people again - i would come back in a heartbeat.
kris kringle tomorrow. something (little) to look forward to. and i finally get some time to catch up on all the things that i've missed and need to do before i go.

it was a sad and happy day.
we were all pretty much getting pumped, getting pumped, pumped all day for tonight.
i dropped a bombshell this morning to kaz and loz. :-( they were in shock. (so i was for that matter)
prettttty alrite day workwise... basically cause i'm just so on top of things and we had morning tea.
THE A-TEAM (i.e., MY TEAM) MAKES THE BEST MORNING TEA EVER.
For $80 we had a FEAST. soooo much food and the troopers did pretty well in demonlishing a lot of it. dips, chips, nuts, lollies, little boys, crackers, cheese, banana muffins, tim tams, chocolates, fruit platter and vege platter.
wowsers.
i think we set a really high benchmark for next month's management morning tea. WOOHOOOOO~ it's on!
then after lunch, loz is trying to like highlight her fields on her excel spreadsheet. and LOLOLOL she couldn't do it.
so me and kristy try and help.
and we both did the same thing - i.e., FLIP HER SCREEN UPSIDE DOWN. omg we laughed so hard we cried. cause loz is like WTF DID U GIRLS DOOOOOO *tries to use her mouse to fix it to no avail*
BIATCHES.... FIX IT!!! *chucks funniest temper tantrum ever*
LOLOLOL and he and kristy and like laughing our asses off and the whole floor is looking at us.
yeah. that was good just what we neded to get high for the night.
and i got phone calls right on 5. the first one was bob... he said hurry up and go out already. so i told him to tell greg to have a lovely holiday. =)
the second one went to voicemail. i'm willing to bet it was greg.
the third one that kristy answered was driver in WA. patience is a virtue woman! i'm getting it organised as quickly as a i can. calling me up 5 times a day won't help!!!
and then
and then
and then
THE NIGHT TRULY BEGAN.
ESTABLISHMENT~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2 drinks. and one maccas beef patty later
we were at THE RETRO HOTEL~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
partayyyyyyyyyyyy
it was so low key until like 7:30 it was ridiculous. drinking ourselves stupid with no one singing. but it slowly got there. i can't remember how many drinks we had. or what we were drinking. it was something like
cranberry punch with vodka and something - and we added champagne to it to make it more alcoholic
white wine
vodka and diet coke
champagne
tequila shots
wet pussys
beer
and lots of food that's bad for you.
bit of stuff i remember (about other ppl of course):
flashing boobs
knocking over drinks all night
burning a ciggy hole in loz tshirt
dancing ourselves stupid
we went back to the establishment around 10.
stopped at 7/11 on the way. LOL that was funny. kaz lost her phone and we had to call adam to bring it back. and then we met up with more ppl and drank more
vodka red bulls.
by the end of the night we were all stoned sober. (... probably just stoned). sooooo tired.
cabbed it home. took like 15 minutes to get a cab biatches!!!
me and loz shared a cabcharge. it was cheaper to go via the inner west than to go straight off the princes hwy/M5... unbelievable!
crashed when i got home.
and now i think to think about my christmas shopping list!
