started off with a press ad at work. 2 day sale my ass. had to do all this extra stuff because of it. and i think its d.u.m.b. to have 2 new people on the registers when its the busiest trading day of the week. guess who had to jump on the registers time and again?

apart from that, don't have much to say about mundane things. except when mayo asks

"so do you guys really want to go to the CSE cocktail party tonight?"

and i give him the most dumbfounded face ever: i was so lost. and i'm like

"what are you talking about? what party?"

was like the worse miscommunication ever - on the part of janice and bf. wasn't impressed with them.

after work, came home and changed and went to get janice. we went for a drive.

i dunno what my connection, if any, i have with that place. i just really really like it. the temperature was actually a couple of degrees too cool for perfect beach weather and probably the wind a bit too choppy for nice waves but it was still super awesome to R&R.

the fish n chip place we went to after year 12 isn't as good anymore. which is not surprising but is disappointing.

then we came back. and went to the CSE party which was actually down the corner from where i use to work @ the costume shop. LOL why?

and to watch gooley try to hit on nerdy girls. made him really self conscious about his shirt (cause jan and i didn't like it). =D not even going to mention the red tie.

and when we went for food at around 10:30. it was the bestest turkish pizza i have ever ever ever had. i dunno what it is about kebabs and pide when you're not sober, but it just tastes so much freaking better.

we stayed a while longer. turned down going to drunken K and took a cab home.

i haven't had so many drinks in one night in so long that i'd almost forgotten what it feels like to be super dehydrated during sleep. lucky for me, i remembered the water.

and thought i was dreaming when jan and chu rang me for the nth time (and 2 messages later) around 2 am. (i tried to ignore it. really i did). thanks guys. its a bit late asking at that time if i got home safe. lol. (for some reason, they weren't "thinking straight" when they directed the cab to bevo first instead of dropping me off first). cab driver was super nice tho. pretty talkative. so no dramas.
