i got to take a step back today and take the opportunity to relax a little since it was my day off. and thank goodness for that cause i don't think i could have managed another long work day, especially after 3 midnighters in a row. though, kind of boring on friday night, it was no less busy and we did have some fun.. mainly the ongoing strife between kids and toys =) i win again.
but i was so ready to get some shut eye before i even went on my hour break... literally counting down the minutes until 12 am.. which slowly came. i think everyone was relieved that it was over.
so today, eventhough knew that the shopping centres would be crowded, braved that and went to westfield and roselands both. and eventhough im not in the mood to actually shop (i would like to but i think i would like to more when i come back) so it was more a browse and walk around kind of shopping.
like i said, i think i'd rather have a look at what hk has to offer before i come back here and have (another) a serious all-out shopping expedition. also, its a bit of disappointment that neither dfo nor birkenhead are open boxing day otherwise i mightve taken that offer. not to worry though.
last trading day before christmas tomorrow. it will be another busy one. but it will also be the last. then stocktake sale starts wednesday before i take my couple or so weeks off. and really unwind a little (or here's hoping). actually, im half hoping to get sick again in hk. but we wont go there.
