started off by going to the gym to sweat it out. then had to rush home and shower and get ready for work.. with an hour of retail therapy beforehand. and waiting in a car queue to fill up my tank before that. i was pleasantly surprised when my tank was filled and the metre hadnt reached the 50 dollar mark. good for me and good for my bank account =). i bought a pair of pants today.. and that dress i've been eyeing for who knows how many weeks now. no equip headband =( =( and had a quick look at the cotton on sale. it was crap. there was this cooper st dress tat was really nice and cheap too.. but i tried it on.. and it only looks good on the coathanger. hahaha.
worked for 5 hours. so glad i didnt have to take the calls cause we had two people today. so i was invisible to the phones and stuff =D yay. i could clean and close in peace without being disturbed. makes you so much more efficient. by 5 oclock, our department looked soo spick and span.
then drove to city.. and picked my fellow jin followers up from capitol.. where they proceeded to eat my cookies =P jk. we drove to the restauraunt on sussex, and passed slip inn (oh, so famous.. not) on the way. found street parking for 2.20 per hour. which was better than what id expected. so parked there. and then they put on their make up using the street lights. so we were parked there.. and they got out and looked like druggos on the street. hahaha. and when i was parking, one of my wheels hit a piece of glass and it was flying.. and i was like SHITTTT!! tat wasnt part of my car was it?!?! lucky it wasnt. so all's good there. and one of the ticket machines was like credit card payments only.. so i was like.... err.. no.. *runs to other machine* accepts coins. good good =D hahaha
the restaurant was nice. service was rather shit. and food? haha i cant give a fair and balanced review of the food.. cause i drank water.. and more water (since i was DD which means NO ALCOHOL).. and ate like salad. i had one rib (cause val made me) a few onion rings and chips.. after trying to drain more oil from it. HAHAHA drove susan (YES SUSAN!! havent seen her in ages) and val crazy. lol so funny.
then we headed to darling harbour for some dessert and ice cream at passionflower [after chucking more money into the machine for parking] and they opened presents. so sat there until around 10.. its actually quite nice walking around darling harbour at night.. especially along the water.. so calming.
got home 15 minutes before dad. streets at night are so quiet and rather daunting. and i feel really awake eventhough i should be really tired... uni tomorrow. -__-"
