started off the day pretty slow... felt a bit down. and i think a couple of ppl picked up on that on the phone.

but bob, he's so lovely. even got his boss to speak to me =D and he usually growls. but heheh said some really nice things which made me smile =) and then he told bob to stop sending me so much to do. HAHAHAHA!!!

then it got better. good ol' SV tried to get me in trouble... for something i didnt do!!! YAY!!! back in ur face!

hahahahahahhaa. had a good lil chat. i thought his new girl was starting today. a no show O_O

then spoke extensively some more with a couple of clients. its so nice to not talk about work sometimes. felt pretty good by the end of the day... despite all of our dramas!

had the most fulfilling weekend in a long long long time.

thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. didn't even blow a big budget which was even better!!! just walked around, stopped when we felt like it, shopped when we felt like it, trammed it when we felt like it.

both my planes were late. both of jan's we early / on time. so she waited at both airports. (and i was on both flights the first to get off... still waited at least 20 mins at both terminals. QF fliers are suckers. ill passenger with checked in baggage my ass).

friday we got there. saw our awesome room. then went back out looking for drinks, coffee and a good time. found a lovely cafe in melb central. sat there until midnightish. :-)

saturday we went to QVM. then brunswick. bourke st mall. myer. bought two beautiful pairs of shoes and a couple of random items.

them we went to the river precinct for dinner and a walk. steak = protein. and guinness pie for janny. yummo. then more shopping. =D

and then it was time for MARY POPPINS.

and i TOLD her, its a 20 minute walk... no way we could have gotten there in 10!!!

lucky for us, my trusty gps phone took us to the right place just in the knick of time.

and what a performance it was. we got FANTASTIC SEATS for last minute purchases.

jan liked it so much she bought $90 in souvenirs... no news that i thought it was a complete waste of money.

we crashed after that. full on day. walked heaps.. my feet had blisters from all the walking. (since she was so smart she was like.. we'll hop off after we'd barely gotten on and walked the rest of the way to brunswick...)

sunday. i had to entertain myself when janny went to her expo. =( so i went to dfo spencer st. didn't spend a cent. so i went back to bourke st and melb central. got a dress. :-)

met jan at the exhibition centre and time to go home...

just as the storm was setting in (fantastic timing!)

my plane was an hour late. shocking. disgusted and disappointed. not to mention the lack of service.

went to work today so tired. i even bought a large coffee thinking it'll wake me up. got to the office and felt like pouring the whole thing down the drain. slowly sipped it through the morning but it was a sloooooooow morning. and i had a farkload to do for some reason. i had cleaned my inbox out end of last week too dammit!!! hahaha

but it was mostly good. like clients were surprisingly understanding. there was this one incident where i was dreading - like DREADING - and didn't want to call my client. was like shitting myself cause service were like yeah its really bad. but had to do it.

... he sounded pretty upset on the phone. but his email response was surprisingly nice. *phew* dodged a bullet even though i was only the messenger!!!

then i was talking to one of the guys in VIC disposals. let it slip that i was in melb on the weekend.... and THEN i was in trouble... hahahaha. got crap for it all friggin day. lol. he even called me in the arvo to tell me off. couldn't stop laughing. =D =D =D =D =D

got home just as it started to waterfall again.

poor nessie and scout just ran inside tonight. didn't have the heart to tell them to go back outside. the whole balcony and their kennels were completely flooded. poor babies.

we were FINE, absolutely doing fantastic an hour before, even up to 5 minutes before the race. the online streaming was working beautifully on the projector. everyone was in the boardroom having a drink and eating antipasto - the good stuff like cheese, twiggy sticks, roast beef, olives and sun dried tomato, crachers and dip when...

same thing happens.... we thought they were IT ppl and smart and could fix it but they were doing the same thing we were!!! (which probably made it worse cause so many ppl were trying to stream the same thing all at once...).

but yeah, good afternoon despite the massive hiccup. a lot of buzzing going on the office afterwards. good to socialise, have a drink and catch up with ppl from other floors.

then i went to the little snail for some french protein for dinners with JC.

yummo. good times!
