my weekend feels so fulfilled eventhough i didn't do much.

spent the morning baking :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

it's like my 'me' time. i was so content in the kitchen on my own this morning... and when parents came back from the shops i was like 'shhhh you're disrupting me!!!' hahaha

but i made heaps of yummy stuff.

choc chip cookies
melting moments
mango cupcakes (pretty fail, i shouldn't be left to my own devices sometimes...)
almond cookies (sugar-free, i overbaked them oops but theyre just for me)
bailey's cheesecake.

hey joyce, the reason why you didnt get any cheesecake was because it was still warm and i had to put it in the fridge. maybe you can have a slice if there's still some tomorrows, or tuesday :) :) :) :) :)

all done and dusted in about 3 hours, dropped off some goodies to joyce and came back just in time to watch Qantas fail some more and the last netball game between Australia and NZ for 2011. which we won of course, world champs again :) :) :) :) :)

who knew packaging would be worth so much.

i had a nice little dinner with joyce last night @ wild fig. randomly, her psych friends were there too... tapas were good :-)

first weekend free and the saturday's gone already.

changed the filter on our fish tank and fark.. it was bad. got water everywhere as you do... lol. 3 hours later, it was finally fixed. new filter's pretty smashing... who knew filters could evolve technologically too...

went to costco today too. wasn't so busy. not that we bought that much stuff... its just way too bulky most of the stuff...

hmm.. think im baking tomorrow!!!

for another few months!! just in time for summer!! WHOOOO

it doesn't take very long via car to get to rosehill. and its quite an easy drive which is good. no need to stress out in traffic beforehand.

but i have to say that i definitely like randwick a lot more... not sure what it is... maybe because i have always done my exams there... i feel like we are connected somehow. lol.

and it is still so sad i have only ever been to a racecourse... for an exam and not the races. unique and special though i have to say!

work today was... hectic as you'd expect. my whole desk was covered in paperwork and they ran out of space so they put stuff on my chair as well. lol

although it was the first time that my stuff was actually semi looked at and im really appreciative that they did try to cover for me. what was funny yet annoying at the same time was everyone asking for their pay slips because it was thursday... im like.. chill out... ive been away for three days. i need some breathing space!!!

anyhoo, i don't know what to do with myself now...

i blame the heatwave!!!

just not as on track as i had planned but when does studying ever go to plan?

anyhow, i am back here because my mother just said my coral nail polish was chat and cheap looking and unsophisticated. SO CUT.

gymmed it today. things change so quickly there... all the renovations, not so pleasant.

came back and because it was such a beautiful morning, took nessie for a run as well. well i ran and she tried to keep up the lazy animal!!!!! it was really nice :)

theyre putting gym machines/equipment at the mark - nice touch, not entirely sure if necessary. making it a bit like the hongkongese places now but... all about fitness and health right?

lots of people doing tai chi today too.

now just to settle into study mode!

and shit happens.

getting sick within a week of my exam is not ideal. thankfully, most of it is overcome.

having another resignation affect me directly is not cool - why are they doing this to me? it's me, not them...

so many things to look forward to post-exam. feels so far away.

so many things i shouldn't worry about but i do - like my emails at work and who's going to be taking care of my stuff . . . (no one)

got all those boardgames :) packages in the mail are uber cool. and uber exciting.

i feel like i need a week off after exam to catch up on life. if only...
