so today marks 3 years at target. dont ask me how i remember these things. lol.
and in true tarjay style - no one showed up in the afternoon for kidswear. we tried calling everyone to see if anyone could come in. no one said yes. so guess who had to stay back - AGAIN. because muriel loves to give the guilt trip. but i love muriel weekends so i stayed back.
and she thanked me by announcing it to the whole store when we were closing.

we celebrated elena's 21st today @ the bavarian bier cafe. where we all drank beer and ate schnitzels. hahaha. yummy.
and it was raining. and since there were 5 people and one umbrella. i used martins leather jacket (ROFLROFL) to cover my head. =D only for like 3 seconds cause it woulda gotten ruined. hahaha.

Jetstar will cancel 31 of its Japan flights - almost one third - next month due to "significant softening" of passenger loads amid swine flu fears.
The airline operates 21 flights per week to Japan and maintains it is committed to the market.
However, Jetstar warned more cutbacks may follow if conditions don't improve.
"Initially, we were seeing a lot of school group cancellations but it is now transferring through to Japanese nationals of any background or persuasion," Jetstar spokesman Simon Westaway told The Australian.
Westaways comments were backed up by the Australian Tourism Council, who blasted political leaders and the media over what it says is the "hysteria" surrounding the latest swine flu outbreak.
Australian Tourism Export Council managing director Matthew Hingerty says the $26 billion inbound tourism industry has already taken a hit, with a noticeable decline in Japanese tourist groups.
"I'm becoming increasingly alarmed over the hysteria over the swine flu business," Mr Hingerty said.
"My members are rapidly losing business as a result of an overreaction and I appeal to our political leaders and media commentators to keep this in perspective."
Mr Hingerty said the tourism market had already felt the initial impact through a falloff in Japanese school groups visiting Australia.
"This has now spilled over to the mainstream Japanese markets," he said.
"We are already feeling the impact of this, significantly. We have been since the first outbreak."
The comments also come as NSW health authorities come under heavy fire for letting 2,000 passengers disembark from the P&O ship Pacific Dawn, which berthed in Sydney on Monday, despite suspicions two young boys were infected with swine flu.
Fourteen cases have now been recorded from the cruise ship, bringing the national tally to 50.
Mr Hingerty said while it was never ideal that people got sick, medical experts say this was a reasonably mild form of A(H1N1).
He also said no one had died from swine flu in Australia yet, however more than 3,000 Australians die from influenza every year.
He said he hoped to put the swine flu scares into perspective to limit Australia's PR damage.
"We are appealing for everyone to be calm, factual and objective in their reporting and commentary of swine flu," he said.
"We'll work on the medical facts and leave the spin aside."

he was driving to work today when he was randomly stopped for a RBT. and obviously the policeman asks for your license.
and AT THE TIME, my boss didn't realise that he had LEFT HIS LICENSE AT WORK. and he thought it was in his briefcase which was in the boot of the car.
so he said to the policeman, i've got to get it out of the boot and proceeds to step out of the car to get his license.
and my boss is like lol-asian-lol-staps-his-foot-for-support when he drives. and the polilceman was like
"oh, are u injured?" *looks at supported leg.
and my boss is like "yeah, i hurt myself at work, etc"
and the police (nice man that he was) was like
"oh, its ok. dont worry about it. carry on" and let him off.
so my boss gets to work. and he realises that his LICENSE WAS ON HIS DESK THE WHOLE TIME.
and we come in and he's like
"if you get RBT'd and you don't have ur license, would u get fined?"
and everyones like
"YEAH DUH!".

aspire in the morning. we went to bass hill. which was a bit of a trip down memory lane (the roads and transport anyway). drove past my very first school. and its changed a bit. lots of it i still remember. couple of new buildings i think i glimpsed. those were the days.. and then we went through the roads of my second school. didnt actually pass the school though. but i remember the parks where pssa was held and excursions, etc.
the workshop was tiring but fun. my girls were quite rowdy but they managed to win the prize. and i was like.. oh AWESOME!!! didn't really expect them to =D cause they werent that keen on uni and stuff. haha but they were fun and entertaining but listened at the same time. so good good good.
and then attempted to start acct assignment with donna. we got as far as 6 dot points i believe. lol. then cherry interrupted, lol. she almost walked right past us actually. hahaha as per usual.
so we looked up tiffany and co jewelery instead. who's gonna pay 10 mil for a diamond? O_O
anyways, i had to rush to work for night fill. and i had to up mum and go back cause she forgot something and traffic just seemed to be heavier than usual..
