heavy traffic to uni but i got a good parking space =D. some dick parked right behind me and i was already too close to the end of the street/edge of kerb if u get my drift. geez some ppl..
micro mid session.. gawd the organisation and layout of the exam room.. absolutely disgraceful.
had group meeting for micro afta.. haha we sort of just stood around and talked a bit.
picked mum up then went to get some eggs and i made my godbros birthday cake... awwwwwww its so HEAVY! (3 layers. choc, vanilla and coffee)

Thousands of
Sydney commuters were left shaken and stirred this morning as they watched a
large, heavily armed police convoy whisk two mystery cargo containers through
heavy city traffic this morning.
Police have confirmed that the operation
took place, but refused to comment on what the two containers - carried by
Qantas trucks - held.
"If you knew what was in there you would understand," a
police spokesman told smh.com.au.
Bill McArthur, a 36-year-old marketing
manager, was near the corner of South Dowling and Cleveland Street when he
noticed all traffic had been brought to a standstill by red lights in all four
directions.
About five minutes later, the convoy came into view.
"I
thought 'oh great, the power's gone out' because the lights were all red," Mr
McArthur said.
"Then all of a sudden I saw the first police motorcycle, then
the second, and then one after another, and near the front was a huge SWAT
vehicle with a machine gun sticking out the top," he said.
"I thought it was
a politician being escorted ... but then when I saw the cargo I'm thinking 'what
the hell'?"
Then three flat bed trucks, two carrying large metal Qantas
containers, sped through the intersection.
It was quickly followed by police
trucks, two unmarked police cars and more police motorbikes, Mr McArthur
said.
"I actually thought there was a bomb being escorted, that's what I
thought when I saw that SWAT truck."
Mr McArthur and thousands of other
drivers were left stranded for more than ten minutes as the convoy swept past
them.
The police spokesman also said all further comment should be made by
Qantas.
Qantas has yet to respond but a the golden views of a number of
smh.com.au readers is that such convoys usually end up at the Reserve ...

i had this gut feeling this morning that traffic would b bad. was i ever right.. at first i thought it was just the lights being a pain in the ass but turns out there was somethng big happening towards the city. so i, and all the cars around me pretty much sat on our thumbs just inside the k'grove entrance to the m5. just before the tunnel starts. there wasnt anything wrong that we could tell. altho i did glimpse a sign saying something about south dowling st. anyhow, we might as well've turned off our engines.
feels like i need a b-r-e-a-k.
monkey wants me to sell a box of chocolates for her. like.. yay?

funny how these things still affect me eventho im no longer a student eh? an excuse for the monkey to have friends over and make a racket and steal my mascara and headband and vaseline and deodarant and my CHAIR and my stockings.. sort of ironic i was in my oversized jersey today. hahaha its like a dress now.

somehow i was going through all my old email.. and i clicked on some stuff that i thought was long in the past and long dead. and there was a link.. and i went there.. and it wasn't dead and in the past. and still very much alive. im in one of those nostalgic moods now. well, i am and im not. i even thought i'd link the page here but i just can't do it.

actually, altho the above may be true, i just like the peugeot (yes, that's right, MORE than the mazda3... which is uneconomical, consumes way too much petrol and well, not that flash hot anymore and not so unique.. theyre everywhere.) and it happened to be on one of those unstoppable pop up ads.. so i decided to check it out =) i am SO gonna learn shift gear. fun fun

i concentrated pretty well for the better half of the day only to have all my concentration disappear around 4 oclock. so i took scout for a long walk eventho it was cold. there aren't any pretty houses around my place.
im gonna do some more reading.

i woke up and for a while i completely forgot it daylight saving ended. so my clock said 10:30 and i was like.. oh shit, i slept right in. and then i went downstairs.. and i was like.. wait.. wtf? why does it says 9:30 and mum goes 'did u change ur clock yet?' and im like 'huh? isnt that tonight?'.. so hahaha i guess i didn't sleep in that much. =D
so we went to burwood.. i was hoping to find this wholesale place for kitchen stuff open but unfortunately they were closed.. so we went yumcha instead. they seemed, or rather, they were understaffed so it took a while for food to actually get to the table..
and it was freezing today!! oh yeah, haha westfield evacuation alarm went off TWICE. we were like.. not again.. but please make something happen so we can get out. hahahah.. nothing happened. shoppers are so used to it that they just keep on shopping. there was security and firemen in our store (i think it was protocol) but apart from that, nothing special happened.
went to westfield with mummy before work. and since house was closing down, i was like lets go see wat theyre trying to sell since there were heaps of ppl. i got my avanti icing set =D =D

we went to vote todayy (like duh) and the losers there couldnt find mum's name on the electoral roll eventho she had her official voting card. and that was a bit retarded. when we went, the lines weren't too bad.. but it still took us a half hour or so. nothing surprising about the outcome. the lunch room debate was quite funny. voting on a looks preference. lol fully paying out the libs.
it was really hot and sticky this arvo and now its really cold and fresh.
and yes, i am a legend. =D

they had 4 hours to find someone to replace the girl who called in sick for the fitting rms and they stuffed it up. so we had to share the job between the softgds. pile on massive amts of stock and a 60+ minute register call, it doesnt leave me much time. so here i was running from fitting rms to serving ppl at the bloody registers and then apparently, had to make time for a closing and pick up. go me.
oh yeah there was this retarded mum who had like a toddler son. anyhow, she got pissed at the kid and so she walked off. and then like a few mins later, she turns around (thinking that the kids followed her) to find him missing. and then she gets all frantic and starts screaming (she was at the customer service desk cause they were paging ppl to look for the kid ) and we could litterally hear her from the back of the store. so here she is bawling her eyes out hysterically because she 'cant find her son'. and i wonder who's fault it was? someppl are just so STUPID. felt so sorry for the poor boy =(

maybe this time its third time lucky and this important chit of a person will show up.. otherwise, we'd have slaved away again for no freakin reason. i mean seriously... how much extra work do we do to cater for this visit?? the something of something of all nsw stores. we dusted, cleaned, picked up rubbish, straightened all the arms so they're all even, relayed.. everything bar tearing apart the store and starting from scratch.
just tonight i did nappies, manchester, hardgoods and furniture in nursery, relayed our beloved pod, fixed sleepwear to 110% and the backwall. oh well, at least they cant call me in tomorrow. i have uni =)
well, it certainly wasn't boring.. its probably one of the biggest nightfills we've had in a while. most of the managers stayed all night and stayed behind. hahaha sucks to be them.

donna, the camera that has the flip screen u were talking about appears to be non-existant... i can't seem to find it? O_o

uni on a friday is so quiet. it was hot but not sunny today which sort of made it even worse. bumped into carl and whatshername. there was this girl with the same name as me, first middle and last so that was really freaky and my tutors name is exactly the same as my cozins. so like.. coincidence much. didnt learn much in eco lecture.. it was more worthwhile sitting at maccas and talking to donna in the hour afterwards. then i picked up mum and we went to some wholesale place in rockdale, and then westfield, and then i dropped her home and went to pick up joyce who doesnt understand the concept of HER WAITING FOR OTHERS BECAUSE I CANT STOP FOR A LONG TIME AND WAIT FOR SOMEONE WHEN DRIVING in a carpark. went to officeworks where she bought her laptop with my discount card which then made me unable to use it.. pfft how utterly ridiculous. god damn it, then i took her home and by that time, it was dinner and then took scout for a walk, watched friday night footy, showered and now im here. my eyes are watery and red and id like to sleep.

so not cool.. ive so buggered. everyday this week ive been asked to start early. i mean, yeah ok, money wise but it does tire you out. back in kids in the evening which was good.. tho sara owes has a half hour since i only took half hour break. hahaha too busy relaying. place looked pretty good by the end though =) oh and we got two, well three (one wasnt here today) new ppl.. but theyre like daytimers and "mature aged" so dont care too much. hahahaha
i want to go to sleep now.. but i have tute qs. damn why does micro have to have so many qs =(

we got a new router so everything should be a-ok.
anyhow, it was an all day shift today. and there was heaps to do. heaps and heaps of shit happened. and the absolutely disgustingly filthy used potty issue came back. it literally made all of us sick.. like how can people do that?! sara was like trying to use her foot to push it all the way to the cleaners sink.. it was so gross. oh did i mention we showed everyone wat happens in nursery before we even thought about how to move the disgusting thing? and they were all laughing.

net connection is literally a ticking timbbomb. at any second, it will stop working cause our router has died. quite literally. i had no net all day and i prolly have around 3 minutes now. fun eh.
so i was called into nightfill cause mans called in sick. didnt have tha much to do.. or rather, didnt feel like doing that much so i split two pallets (haha.. not much to do eh) and two cages.. put out about 4 trolleys and yeah.. oh at the end we had a couple of mins.. so the guys were assaulting our little confec machine for fundraising.. they broke the spring and it literally starting raining skittles. kept twisting the knob and the little rainbows kept coming out... hahahaahahah tat was so cool and funny... they used a paddle pop stick to get free lollies. and they were like lil kids.. omg its candyland! i wonder who else will notice tomorrow.
rest of the day was passed in catching up with some uni stuff. kinda hard when u cant get online but i tried.

another crazy day at work. so during my 15, got food for all da girls.. haha tat was fun and funny.. we were just like eating kfc in the fitting rms.. lols. half our department was on the floor today.. im so surprised we managed to actually clean it.
then went out.. it was more dinner and dessert. after killing my feet walking along the wharf about 3 times, we finally decided on nick's. some seafood bar and grill place with shitty service and average food. i guess the up side was we got to side outside the male toilets and watch uh.. guys going to the bathroom..? well at least someone thought it was funny. oh and joyce was the only person who had anything alcoholic.
then went to passoinflower for ice cream.. yummmmmmeeee. oh did i mention rach drove so we had like a curfew? haha and it was hard to walk along planks with holes and gaps everywhere. didnt want heels to get stuck..
but otherwise it was fun. mellow but fun.

since the rosters were stuffed up, i was literally all over the place. took a bout 4 code1s, put stock out, fitting rms, back dock, closing routine.. everywhere. and fuck, this kids sale is freakin crazy. i cant wait for the weekend. *cough*
last night was pretty funny too.. and hectic.. had nursery calls every 5 mins. literally.
had to stay back for nightfill as well.. omg.. i was like a walking zombie by the end of it. never ever am i going to get up at 6:30, go to uni for a 2 hr lecture, rush to work and stay for nightfill when its like the biggest sale for kids ever again. and registers.. they were marking down all this sht so it got so bad.. omg.
i feel like i need time to breathe.

never ever have i seen the lines for the bus all the way back to the traffic lights. i literally had to wait half an hour for a bus, which in effect, means that i was worse off than driving.. like.. seriously.. thats shocking. next week i think im going to drive again. although i did hear there was a fatal car accident near the airport drive so it was a good thing i didnt drive today.. so many problems with our roads and transport.
anyhow, my first 6 hour day and it wasnt so bad =)
nicole (accting tutor) is so funny. haha the OH bulb just sort of died and she was fuly freakin out and switching it ona nd off again.. and she actually managed to get it working again.. ahhaha she was like.. do i have to get o my hands and knees and grovel?? and she did.. and then it worked.. so funny.
finance.. i left halfway.. sat outside with donna and joycey and valval and sam and h. haha tat was way better than the stuffy lecture. so bad.
hm oh and then finance tute.. which was ok.. pretty large group for a tute actually.
slow train back ( i always get them) after a crappy bus ride but whatever

eventhough there was no uni and no work. it sort of went from slow to fast to slow again (the day i mean)
i did get a package in the mail.. i bought 7 belts off ebay for less than a dollar each =D. bargain
divided time between gaming and shopping online and general net surfing. i kind of wished it would rain during the day so i could sit by the window and daydream.. too bad it didnt happen. so i painted my nails a different colour.. again. mum was studying my hands the other night and she was saying how they were really white, ie, abnormally white. and considering im not the worlds most palest person.. should i be worried?

been up since 7 doing heaps and heaps.. in the kitchen most of the time, ducked out to the centre for some last min groceries.. more kitcken skills and then work. i finished making my really lovely fruit flan =D so pretty!! and mini fruit tarts.
work was pretty slow.. copped a lot from eddie and his stupid lil sidekick, aka luke. everything we threw at them just backfired on us.. so we have to think of new plans to get them back.
then got home.. where it was more work in the kitchen.. i didnt even get a break! then ppl started arriving.. and it was dinner.. and everything else just follows.
and it is so HOT. and its close to midnight and still hot!!

ive been so many places and done so many things today it feels kind of unreal.
i went to uni.. left at 10:30 (lecture fin early) and then went to marketcity and pitt st mall. met up with anna and tiff =) swapped textbooks at town hall station with this chick and walked around for a bit with anna and tiff. then i went home.. started making pastry for my fruit flan then picked up mum from station and went to campsie for groceries.
i guess its cause i havent had such a packed day in ages and its different.
