fuchsia fragments

i drove to uni today.. and the really bad thing is that i have a 9 oclock start which basically means really heavy traffic so now im not sure if i want to drive to uni any more. but either way, itll be pretty congested. maybe just every now and then.
anyhow, there was an accident at k'grove today so was stuck there for awhile. ended up late for acct lec. but it ended early anyway. got another two of my books and was on my way.
storm this arvo was pretty bad.. heaps of lightning.. luckily we didnt have a blackout here.

lets see... what happened yesterday.
oh yes.. it was my first day back at uni.. and it was crowded! sold a few of my textbooks and got a couple in return.. and i left my micro lecture pretty early.. haha. so bad. then i had finance.. and rach was there.. and we left that early too. great start eh.. but he was just so boringg.. and couldnt really understand him that well either. so went for coffee. met up with carl and his frends. and it was just my luck that the two trains that i caught were both slow trains. but the bus driver when we were going to uni was nice.. he was like.. guys just get on, no need for tickets. and some idiot actually got off. that was funny.

eddie owe me bigtime. calls me at 1 and wants me to start at 1:30. AND i was at roselands. so i had to drive like a madwoman home and get changed and rush to work.. i made it!!
towards the end there was this woman who (we presumed) was looking for cozzies. so she was mining the action to mandy who was doing nightfill.. and mandys just like.. ur looking for a swimming costume....? and the womans like making breastroke actions.. and im walking by.. and (shes asian) sees me.. and the look on her face was like.. omg someone here to save me. i guess she thought i could understand what she was saying.. and straight away i was shaking my head.. no i dont understand. dont look at me.. NO dont talk to me in shang! we struggled but maanged in the end.
oh yeah some hotshot managing director of all the stores.. big big big boss apparently is coming in on thurs... like.. wtf? to our store? the tiniest one in nsw? u wanna visit our store??? why?!

i was sort of dreading work today.. just cause of stuff thats happened.
and i come in and saras there and im like.. omg ur here!! so yea turned out to be not so bad after all.. we gave our department a whole new makeover =D =D its more 'kiddy' now. nice colour schemes going.. got rid of clearance. haha yayness.

officially one of the worst (if not the worst) thursday nights ever. thank goodness it was relatively quiet.
and all (basically) cause the worst managers were on.
so an outline:
one of the girls call in sick. so i had to be in 3 departments at the same time. with about a million phone and register calls. like okay, i can handle that if u'd leave me alone.
then all of softgoods keep getting called to reception (we were called in about 5 times tonight) tats over once an hour.
all of us were threatened with being counselled if we were caught talking (fucking hypocrits)
then the real drama starts.
a comment is made and accusations fly
manager swears at a staff member [and they want to counsel US?!]
and everyones night is ruined from then onwards..
i feel s0 sad atm =(

i put myself under house arrest cause im sort of sick and i have no where to go and nothing that i want to do and i dont have to work.
a bit of a time out from the world i guess.
and godbro is growing up which means getting fat and ugly. HAHA im so slack.
oh and did i mention i updated my timetable. it ROCKS =D

sara goes home and then calls the store to talk to me =D
apart from that i bumped into valval!!
i havent seen her in yonks and yonks. =D =D

dont mix chinese new year with massive alcohol induced party with no sleep the following day.
i had about a ton of lychees on saturday morning and nothing else until the party where i had a fair bit of alcohol. note that at work before this, i had a sore throat from the 'yit hey'-ness of the lychees (so mum says). then i got about 6 hours sleep so i had massive sore throat and blocked nose next day.. thrown on top of this is going to bai lin around all these places and whatever and being piled with food.. which i tried to decline.. add having ur period and going out for lunch and going to work after that and ur in for a very painful monday (ie, right now). i feel like chucking. not to mention someones rostered on for nightfill tonight.

customers who came today witnessed something extraordinary cause all the ppl working were in slow motion, managers included. like seriously.. everyone was either hung over or so freakin tired.. laura and i literally sat in the back on sleepwear 'sorting' underwear. hahahaa and took this nursery call.. and i was like 'sorry.. u ... were ..looking for a .... cot...?' and nick was like 'i dunno if ur sober enough for this but u have a customer..' HAHAHA i was TIRED not hung over. laura was like im so glad most of the guys arent here today cause id never live it down. hahaha
oh and the other important thing.. happy chinese new year!!

certain people at work.. so rude and demanding and the thing is, theyre not the ones who have control over what i do. argh. want to kick and scream. and i think i liked things the way they were before the new managers came. all this protocol bullshit now.
all about sleepwear this morning. was literally counting down the time until i got to go home.
made dads bday cake =D but the writing is damn retarded. need better piping tools. which i shall get. and that mixer.. tats right.. i made a cake without a mixer!! and its still good!

so i ended up going to coles thinking that i'd buy ice cream. i didnt. i got low fat yoghurt instead. how typical of me..

the bad about nf: stupid manager *kicks* and promo and the endless stock for kids
the good: got paid for 4 hrs but worked 3.5. we sat in the tea room for the last half. haha
and i crave ICE CREAM.. like a magnum or something =(

i wanted to run through the rain.. not entirely smart but seems like fun for some reason.
i went to roselands today.. got a pair of really comfy grosby fluffy slippers. oh, and some lipgloss.. dont ask why.. so yes i spent money that i 'don't have'.. on the bright side (if there is one).. i've toned down my shopping?.. not really.. no.
im thinking about buying my books online to save some mega dollars. seriously cheaper. and i think i'm going to sell my 1st year books.. cause they're just gonna sit on the shelves and collect dust anyway.. so i mightas well sell and use that money to buy my new books.. cause i want to pay for them myself. i mean, its either i pay for them now or i end up with this massive debt to dad.. either way im gonna have to pay up so i think i'd rather pay for the books now. it's not like i "can't" afford them.. although it does put a strain on my finances. haha.. dont go shopping for a month. and i'm thinking really hard these days before i buy things. like really.. so i think that's an improvement. at least i hope it is.
i guess things will work better if i could keep myself more occupied at home.. at least i dont totally waste the day by just sitting and doing nothing. although that does come close. im droning on.. hope it rains for a couple more days.

this one pair of boys pants. someone returned it, had to find a code. it was put back. someone else wanted to buy it. needed a code.. it was pretty funny i guess.
laura and i cleaned swimwear.. and sara said we were absolutely nuts. but hey, it looks so good now. but again, fairly quiet day.
i hope it rains more tonight.. love sleeping through rain.

haha it was so funny today.. despite all the freakin register calls.
and i actually wanted to go to promo to pick up (and ironically, didn thave to) cause of double discount.. u know.. do a bit of shopping while im there. lols.
anyhow, so laura and i were walking around the store trying to get ppl to pay us to get wayne to wear this size 5 fairy skirt to the thingy next saturday. HAHAHAHAHA and sara stipulated all these rules too. can't wait =D
5 hours actually went by pretty quickly.. and i had to be told to take my break.. didnt really register that i woudl get one today =D
and amazingly another quiet day in store. mustve been cause of all the cny celebrations goingon outside.

i was planning on staying at home and constructing a few more cities on caesar iv. it sort of happened. but then i got so bored at around 2 oclock that i just walked out of the house to get some fresh air. and i ended up at westfield (like, where else would i end up?). so i was randomly and very aimlessly browsing shops.
and someone taps me on the shoulder and its joyce so i sort of follow her around for a while.. i mean, in joyce fashion.. shes got these great stories to tell =P
so yes, that was my amazingly action packed day.
the best thing was i went shopping and didnt spend a cent! although tempted.

walk onto floor with laura and maureen's like.. wynnie im sorry, sara wouldnt let me tell u over the phone that ur in mens. and im like... ru serious?!?! damn it.. if iknew i woulda said no!! hahahaa which is why she didnt tell me. anyway had it eassssy tonight. nothing to do.. i got to walk around the store and talk to everyone. lol
well sort of i ended up cleaning bibs.. oh the satisfaction but the disgusting mess.
and martin comes up to me in nursery with a visitor.. and well. what more can i say. i dont blame him (i guess) but the lil visitor is elisa. and boy has she not changed.. acutally, im pretty sure its gotten worse. and shes asks me why i dont keep in touch with any of them? like.. she comes into target and looks for martin before she looks for me. but hey, i wouldve been happier if i didnt see her at all.
so like since martin was there i had to pretend to be nice and be all like oh hey i havent seen you in ages, how have u been. blah blah. how do u know martin and martins like i never knew u went to stg.. blah blah. like.. okay.. can i go back to spl-ing now? cause it sure beats talking to you. so yeah... wasnt too thrilled with that encouter.

i got a msg sometime this morning before i was fully conscious.. i was thinking it was gonna be work and i was half right. haha it was laura. damn ppl who go to school and need to wake up early =P. and then i go back to sleep.. and then who i expected it would be really did call. it was a quarter to 9 and they wanted me to start at half past.. i was like.. yeah.. what?? 9:30? oh ok..
so i made it on the dot. =)
and for some reason every person who approached me today was asking for the same thing. kids paint shirts. and i was literally repeating myself when i was saying that we only had two girl ones left. they were material and didnt have the plastic lining. *sigh* even eddie thought it was funny so he told all the guys to ask me when i walked past if we had any paint shirts. haha..
and stock is overflowing. literally no room anywhere.. and i cant WAIT for the huge kids sale coming up in a couple of days. sara even told me to do thursday night in advance. its gonna be bad.
now i have to recolour my nails cause theyre chipped =( how vain. lols

had enough of their shiiiat.
and these two fuckin girls towards the end of the shift.. fucking was gonna yell my head off at them. me and laura were fully staring at them and bitching. they went to get strollers from nursery and then they "pretended" to buy all these clothes.. and then FUCKING DUMPED IT ON THE FLOOR SO WE HAD TO CLEAN IT UP.. WHEN THERE WAS LIKE 10 MINUTES LEFT. wanted to strangle the little shits.
and yeah.
i need a tv antenna.

split, hang, feed. was doing that for a whopping 8 hours today.. i killed my right middle finger in the process. so much pain..
so tired..

was so unmotivated to shop today so i went to the CU instead and took out 1600 dollars. and then went to auburn with dad to spend that same $1600. now i get to build it =D
hmm.. oh yeah and on the way back good ol target calls. very welcome since im gettin jack crappy shifts this week. and next.. bah. oh wells. one step closer to repairing my poor bank account.
totally bummed.

so like i died temporarily cause i just could not be stuffed to blog.
im trying to save and save and its killing me..
um.. im kindda bored? but at the same time kindda enjoying my days off..
